Even when she's doing something tragic like Odette, she's the personification of taking joy in the music, and utterly luminous. And I love these little spots during premieres: wish they could be subtitled for those of us who don't speak Russian!
I think she looks better with the Bolshoi, none of her performances with the Mariinski is as brilliant as this one. Somehow the Mariinski limited her artistry. And they have an amazing chemistry. Love them both ❤🎶

Bolshoi has really outdone itself with redesigning the ballet. Much as I love Osipova and Vasiliev, Obraztsova just sparkles in this. It used to be hard to find her doing anything but the 3 Musketeers clip. Thank you for all who are posting her perfs!

This is actually before she made the switch - she debuted in Don Quixote as a guest star. But she has indeed been shining at the Bolshoi since become principal!
Ah, she is incredible as Kitri! The exact image of what that role should look like in my opinion. Strong, fearless, exuberant. I didn't like her Dulcinea as much, though - I was expecting something a bit more refined and soft, but it was none the less beautiful. :) Thank you!

She is splendid. I thought Ossipova had the fav's for Kitri but I think that Evgenia is as good in this piece.
