I hope the next video will show how to punch through the cockpit glass of your enemy's ship with your bare fist if you're really close after a specific boost-yaw-pitch-roll manoeuver and then grab him with the other hand while you steer your ship with your feet. easy after some practice
just want to see / advice, corkscrew approach on say a pad or ship and then how to slow down and then stay in knife fight, so its the transition between corkscrew and staying in close.
Neutralization, rate fighting is an illusion created by players replicating the same maneuvers constantly pushing away from each other. Master neutralization and you'll never rate fight anyone.
@@JohnathanWinters Thank your patient reply. As I learnt from your video, If I try to neutralize with enemy, I will get easy to be hit. Usually, when I try to neutralize enemy, I was fored to trade with enemy. That made me into a disadvantaged situation if I had less accurate aim. Should I give up neutralize enemy if I have less accurate aim?
can you do a tutorial on positional fighting and some of the though processes that go into the inputs, I often find things that work but Im not reallly sure how i accomplished it per say, also the "snap turn" I often see really good pilots snap their nose quickly and I think im doing it to but im acutally not sure if I am or not.
Hi. I can't get my ship to turn fast. It's really slow and I have to keep lifting my mouse over and over again to get it to turn. This makes combat very difficult. I assume this is a settings issue, but i can't find anything on the internet about it. Can you make a video about how to achieve maximum turn speed? :)
It does but the issue is defense is useless without boost, and defense has a delay. Shield harden takes 4-5 seconds to activate. You're better off using movement as a defense or offense as opposed to wasting time on shield.
@@JohnathanWinters That's still a good way to engage the first time or after a reset. This help put some pressure on the other pilot. At least, it did seem to work against a better pilot in a F7C Hornet while I was flying an Arrow.
@@JohnathanWinters so a lot of inexperienced pilots only fly \fight in a circle strafe, It took a long time for me to understand I need to put my vector in the direction that my opp ship is flying in, and have my main thrusters pushing me towards his flight path. I used to throttle towards people but not in the right direction

Perfect timing, I’m currently focusing on knife fight practice and that was very helpful
Perfect topic at the perfect time. I also love the cooldown delay for regen, a full reload is 4 seconds on most guns making the window very tight.
As always quality work and very informative. Now let's see what I remember in the fight!
Dude I absolutely LOVE your thumbnails I cant help but watch the video everytime I see your thumbnails
Great tutorial as always! Not only for the boosting topic, but also as a summary of all the basic before!
Always dropping the good stuff. Great vid Winters!
Sensible delivery of good info. Thank you
Love seeing the theory followed by a demonstration in a combat scenario. Good stuff as always o7
That is a top rated tutorial. Absolutt amazing. The air force should be paying you.
As usual, another great tutorial
this channel is criminally underrated.
About f'ing time we get a new video!
Awesome vid, man!!!

@@xxww9700 Only neutralise for short periods whilst keeping evasive and then when close enough boost to get around them like in the video
@@xxww9700 Hop on the discord man, if you see me on hop in I'll help you out but what metatron said is correct.

Thats because you are playing on Relative mode, you need to swap to Vjoy mode.
That phone ding in the background tho lmao
I know xD
I believe that with full energy in shields, this can be used to absorb more damage too, not just increase the regeneration. 🤔
