Personally, I think the substitution of Garak in place of Rugan Skyl changes things a lot on the moral choice quest. If it was some random Cardassian minster I'd feel alright yelling at him. However now it is Garak who is probably well known as an important person in the fight against the Dominion, his helping of the Federation/DS9 (though obviously not all the details), and his actions trying to reform Cardassia through his work in their government after the war - that changes the metrics astronomically. So sure Garak, if you really want it, here is your alcohol brewed from the finest Bajorian tears for your "friend"! Thanks for saving the Alpha Quadrant!
I still can't figure out why they got rid of NPCs like that in favor of Garak, unless they just didn't want to pay that particular voice actor anymore?
Explaining purple kanar as Bajoran distilled was a nice touch. According to the Star Trek cookbook, the prop was primarily made with chocolate syrup and sparkling water, but for whatever reason they occasionally presented a purple variety consisting of Welch's grape juice and Riptide Rush Gatorade.

The second is actually something similar to a drink that a doctor recommended for me a couple years ago. You can have the time travel fun with Scotty with a TOS captain. He says he remembers you being on Donatu station in his past but your captain hasn't been yet because that's your future and I'm sure at Procyon V Scotty remembers you comments on how you haven't aged and shouldn't you have died at Celeb against the Klingons. Messing with Scotty's head.

I wonder why neither the Romulan Republic nor the Romulan Star Empire joined the negotiations, seeing as how there many of their worlds are well among the front lines and closest to the Borg and Delta Quadrant.
Out-of-Universe explanation? When the mission first came out there was no Romulan Republic and the RSE was still highly secretive. In-universe? The RSE is in chaos because of Sela's disappearance and the Republic is currently focused on rebuilding Mol'Rihan.
Another reason is the Republic with it's very spare resources at the time it has just fought off the Elachi and Romulan Imperial elements and working diplomatic and administrative channels with many independent Rom colonies now joining the Republic.
I had to do Boldly They Rode so...many times. Just to get some freakin Dominion Polaron arrays and cannons for a ship build. I never want to see another isometric circuit puzzle again.

It's because it would require a complete rebuild of the missions. Any changes made to previous episodes outside of the current visual alterations have been made on the devs free time.
I guess that's why I've given up hope that they're ever gonna bring back those missions that were removed, like the other half of the Klingon story arc.
Because that would require Cryptic programmers to actually work at something. And considering The 2800 was the third FE series, think of the spaghetti code they'd have to untangle to run right? PWE would rather them keep cranking out loot box crap.
They redid the old carassian mission guy with Garek. I like Garek but that and the one where where he is discriminating against the Bajorans didnt need him ruining his reputation. Also no one tell Tram about the LIberated Borg it might break his spirit.

That's a player docking to the station. Ships and players are the same thing, so the ship cannot remain in space while the player is on the ground, or rather on DS9.
It's doable and enjoyable without having to pay. All the story content is free. I recently got a quality free ship from an event. It is a grind at times and some of the best gear and ships require money, but it isn't necessary at all to enjoy and get to end game
You don't need to pay to win but the temptation to pay for all the bells and whistles will be very great. I spent a small fortune on this game for better or for worse.
I mean, given how heavy it is... I I can't blame him. Giving the Galaxy the few further weeks of reprieve from that apocalypse is something I can't blame Hale/Ric. The literal midnight of the STO universe.

Garak's discussion of bajoran kanaar sounds a little weird, mostly because originally the character had been Rugan Skyl (a former military officer during the occupation) but they replaced all his appearances with Garak during the "victory is life" expansion. which makes the somewhat arrogant tone and praising of the occupation soldiers feel off. personally i just like to think that Garak is toying with the player, trying to get under their skin a little to see how they react. like he used to do with Bashir and the crew of DS9 when he was just a "plain simple tailor". got to keep those skills sharp, right? especially since intrigue seems to be as integral a cardassian trait as subterfuge is for romulans.
It also feels as Garak is testing the social and diplomatic skills of the character and their willingness to hustle. Still weird that they reworked the missions that way
Shon Tempest - when they introduced the gamma quadrant storyline, they took advantage of having the actual voice actors on hand and replaced the Old characters with Garak and quark. They’ve done that with a few of the old missions.

They average around 85-90 years. So it's unlikely unfortunately.

I'm seriously thinking of geting this... is it worthwhile? I don't want to have to 'pay to win' with microtransactions.
It's doable and enjoyable without having to pay. All the story content is free. I recently got a quality free ship from an event. It is a grind at times and some of the best gear and ships require money, but it isn't necessary at all to enjoy and get to end game
You don't need to pay to win but the temptation to pay for all the bells and whistles will be very great. I spent a small fortune on this game for better or for worse.

Sure, Kurland says a lot in this mission, but not the most important thing. Where is he? Is he here? I don't mean just physically here or merely available, is Kurland "here" here?
Garak's discussion of bajoran kanaar sounds a little weird, mostly because originally the character had been Rugan Skyl (a former military officer during the occupation) but they replaced all his appearances with Garak during the "victory is life" expansion. which makes the somewhat arrogant tone and praising of the occupation soldiers feel off.
personally i just like to think that Garak is toying with the player, trying to get under their skin a little to see how they react. like he used to do with Bashir and the crew of DS9 when he was just a "plain simple tailor". got to keep those skills sharp, right? especially since intrigue seems to be as integral a cardassian trait as subterfuge is for romulans.
It also feels as Garak is testing the social and diplomatic skills of the character and their willingness to hustle. Still weird that they reworked the missions that way

Shon Tempest - when they introduced the gamma quadrant storyline, they took advantage of having the actual voice actors on hand and replaced the Old characters with Garak and quark. They’ve done that with a few of the old missions.
I see what probably isn’t but looks like a trans pride flag over the corridor behind Garak.

@@808INFantry11X That, and J'Mpok specifically defeated the Gorn King in single combat, but respected that he never gave up, so he gave the Gorn a non-voting seat on the Klingon Council. That, and S'Tass is just really damn good at his job.
