When I see J perm hit 22k on a video I thought he changed his name to “J perm 2x2”
I nearly stopped cubing he’s literally my only way to get fast on 2x2 to 4x4 ( The only events I do)

Me too. I really hated 5x5 due to hardware (qiyi something). But after getting a magnetic one, I love 5x5 more than 3x3. I agree with you that hardware matters in bigger cubes.nice video, btw.

For my 5x5 pb, I got easy first 2 centers, one cross edge already paired, and as I finished L4C, it paired up my last cross edge, I had 3 already made, really easy edge pairings, no parity, and essentially ZZ (all my edges were oriented). I got a 1:24, when I was averaging 1:55, and hadn't gotten any sub 1:40's before

My favourite events are 3x3, then 4x4, then 5x5, then 2x2. I feel that the bigger puzzles have so much more in them that its hard to get bored of solving them. However, scrambling is a nightmare

@@SpeedStacker-ml9hp yup I was asking for ut 4x4... NP you will have to get used to the speed and elasticity of ut 4x4. I hated mine too(I have only one) but as soon as I found a way to slow down.. I started to love my shengshou 4x4

since you reduce to 3x3 so when solving a rubiks cube of any size you reduce it to a 1x1 so does that mean when scrambling a 3x3 your oxidising it to a 3x3

Use cfop its faster i tried roux just trust use cfop u need practise

@@johankaruyan5536 i know but no matter how much you practise roux you will never be faster then good cfop solver
To be honest roux is easier and you will have faster solves at beginning but cfop is faster is practiced enough

usually there is a gap. all you can do is keep trying to improve by practicing and learning new things
