So thank you for uplifting me today and get me to tackle some more 😊 hugs Cat from England
Hey!! I am new here so glad I came across your video. I am glad to see I am not alone and someone else washing the dishes this way by starting with cups and then plates and bowls then pots and pan then only forks spoons, knife and rest…just by category 😅. And I can’t wash without taking everything out of sink and to organize it in this way ❤
Thank you for your encouraging videos!! I am really easily overwhelmed too. So I will think about all the things I want to do, and because I can't do it all, I just get nothing done. I know it makes no sense.
Always so nice to see you again and experience the motivation and uplifting talk, you are such a good speaker Kim you should give lessons or something like that! My motivation for starting the cleaning in the house is thinking that I can watch your videos after I'm done and I'm sitting on the couch with a drink. Although I'm older than you, you are a true inspiration and I'm not afraid to admit that 😀👍🏻
Hi Kim....I checked for your video early this a.m. but it wasn't up yet.I love watching you and working with you. I also like Melissa Maker ALOT and she taught me when I clean a room to start at one point and work my way around the room. Thats so helpful because on a day I don't feel well for what ever reason I KNOW where to start. I enjoy the grocery hauls. We usually spend abt $160 a week on groceries and house hold stuff...there is my husband and I and we have our grandson overnight on the weekend and 1 day after school so we buy special things for him and then the 4 furbabies. And yes letting go of your kids items is so very hard. I think its because every piece whether toy or clothes holds a special memory. I think Jan. is a hard month for ppl because in Nov. and Dec. theres such hype over the holidays, lots of things to look forward too and then when the holidays are done there is some kind of a let down and where I live SNOW and then theres the worst where I live February...the worst snow month of all. Ty for this video, enjoy you so much!~Jodi
I've been binge watching your videos. It's crazy what we have in common. Everytime I watch one of your videos it feels like hanging with a best friend. Awesome video, Kim! 😊 I love grocery and miscellaneous hauls and would love to see more of them, if you don't mind.😊 I hear you about the grocery shopping: I shop for myself and have 2 cats and I generally spend $200.00 a week. I buy dry cat food in a 30 pound bag which is fine because that will last about a month and a half. But what kills me is the paper products like: toilet paper, napkins, paper plates/bowls and paper towels. For those items, I shop at my local Dollar General or Dollar Tree. I do have a couple of questions I'd like to ask if that would be alright. I really love your grey colored dishes and your green pots and pans and was wondering were you bought them? I'm looking to purchase a new pot and pan set, but for now I'm just looking around. Also, do you make any 9x13 dishes for supper that are easy to make? I'd be interested in seeing your meal ideas as well. Thanks again for posting your videos. Hppe you have a great day!🙂
Thank you so much! It definitely adds up so fast 😩 the dollar tree is a great tip! I got my gray dishes from target. I believe they were less than a $1 a piece! And my pots and pan set was actually a Christmas gift but I will try to find the link for you. Also, I’m hoping to incorporate more recipes here this coming year. Whether that be here in my weekly videos or a RUclips short. I uploaded a crockpot chili recipe this morning! 😋
Thank you so much for your help! And I did check out your crock pot chili and it looks amazing! 😋 I am definitely going to tuck this recipe under one of my favorites. Hope you and your family have a great day! 🥰
Hi, Kim! I hope you and your family are good! So happy to see a new upload 😊 I live in the Netherlands and its just me and my 2 year old son. We have 50€ a week to spent on groceries, so not much at all. Things have gotten crazy expensive! And eggs are insane right? I'd get chickens if I could haha 🥚🐣🐔
Loved this. I typically budget 400-450 a month for my family of 5. This includes extra toiletries. We’ve always used products from dollar tree so I have my fav cleaners there, shampoo and conditioner. Helps with the budget. If I’m at Walmart I also have a list of faves that are cheaper for our budget. We have 5 pets as well and I don’t spend too much more on food then we use to. I keep pets needs under $50 a month so technically I’m spending 500 to feed mouths lol. I have a 13 menu week rotation and so far our higher meals have been paired with our cheap meals and I can keep 2 weeks under $200. I will be staying home and homeschooling all my of my kids next year so I expect groceries to go up $75-$100 to accommodate for breakfast and lunch for the 4 of us we’ll see. I’m hoping I can squeeze cheap things in and keep my groceries close to where the are :)
Thank you so much for sharing! I believe our budget is much higher since we are home all day and have all of our meals here. Plus my kids think they need second breakfast most days 😂
Woo I’m living in the middle of it and trying to enjoy the time with them but it gets soooo hard when there are constantly messy. I just keep telling myself I’m gonna miss it 😅💕

I live in ga and I have 5 members in my family. Unfortunately I have to do extreme budgeting so I have to make 150$ stretch for 2 weeks. That’s including breakfast on the weekends because my kids eat breakfast at school, and dinners for every day. I go to the dollar store to get snacks
Wow Mama! That’s seriously impressive. I know how it is feeding a family a 5 as well. What a shame that everything is so expensive nowadays 😔 you’re doing amazing! ❤️
We have 3 people in our family and we spent about $200 a week on groceries. As for household stuff I usually buy that every other week and that runs about an extra $30. We also have chickens, dogs, & cats, we get their food every other week as well and that's another $100 that week. I live in NW Arkansas.
First time watching one of your videos! Thanks for the motivation! I typically “budget” about $350 every 2 weeks and that used to be fine. Now, no way. It’s more like $450-$500 every 2 weeks. There are some things, like laundry stuff, that I buy every single paycheck to keep extra stock of. I actually found 5 dozen eggs for $20 at Walmart the other day so I snatched those suckers up! I used to buy the same exact thing a year ago for $9. 😑
@@CleaningwithKim I like to plan my meals for the week, and order pick up. If go in, I will spend on stuff I don’t need. I only shop for one week, cause if order food for two weeks or over, I will end up throwing food out. I only order the toiletries in bulk, so I don’t get tempted to go into target and buy all kinds of goodies. And for target I use the drive up service
As a German the thing that amazed me most was the groceries. I pay roughly $250 a month per person on groceries and household items, only using fresh meat/vegetables and fruit and making everything from scratch ... no convenience products (not trying to be posh, I suffer from food allergies) and quite a few luxury items like smoked salmon and fish. Which is literally a fraction from the US. That's just crazy to me.
Wow!! And I thought it was bad here. Thank you for educating me on this! It blows my mind that it is even more expensive to make everything from scratch. It should be the other way around! 🤦🏻♀️
