These same people think God is in that church. God left there a long time ago. These black folks only do thieve things in America. I live in Canada we can’t do that in our church or dress like these people. I had a friend who came with her church I think it is called The Church of God and these people were dress like the church of olden days in holiness, but the driver was a short black obese man in shorts and then I heard he was the Pastor. That caught me off guard. Is this Pastor Murphy, if so he has lost a lot barrel of weight, but he ain’t no preacher because he was caught trying to cross over to Canada with a gun. A preacher walking with a gun. Who is he going to “kill”. The bible says thou shall not killed.

Every music has a spirit behind it, godly music is suppose to be influenced by the Holy Ghost while secular music is not. Light and darkness can never agree. We have enough anointed gospel music for Christians, anything out of God will not do.

The other day I saw a video from a youtuber saying that the 150 are the ones who responded to a call to join the church and not a call for salvation (if there was any). I actually stopped following this story, am concentrating on building my faith in the Word of God.
They doing to damn much and I just had to reach out to my own church regarding this after my 18 yr old daughter came home from a youth church Christmas pajama party. I was floored with what I saw, kids doing karaoke to secular music and dancing etc….im 42 and I was raised different. It was absolutely just some stuff you didn’t do in church…..cuss, walk in the pulpit, etc…..I was always taught that church was a sanctuary. You respect it and treat it holy! They could’ve did karaoke to Christmas songs or anything but Keisha Cole talking bout she knew once she start kissing she found out…..😳 naw I’m not cool with this. The word tells us to be in the world but not OF the world and we should look different and apart from the worldly and sinful things we see day to day or things that’s provokes, entice, or persuade us to sinful nature. I’m sorry call me old school or whatever but it ain’t right! What we need the church for if it looks like what the world has to offer??? It’s crazy to me for real and just a sign of the times. Y’all better get RIGHT or get LEFT

Exactly. Those that a re genuine about being saved are trying to escape the world and know there is nothing in it for them. I left a church 15 years ago when I first got saved because they were playing James brown instrumentals. As a baby Christian I knew it was a mess but how those folks that been saved for years and decades didn't know it

I remember reading the bible for the first time, and coming to the realization that we were way off the path. It was shocking, and it shook me for a second, but I continued to study the word for myself.
It may seem strange, but the word does teach that there will be a falling away of the church some day. We just so happen to be witnessing it in real time.

@@eddiea2446 acting upon the truth that is revealed is still difficult. Whenever it’s executed, those wins are special, because it’s not what most tend to do. Standing ten toes down, is almost never the easiest thing to do successfully. Honestly I think it’s due to the fear of starting over being a major struggle for a great deal of people.

This is far more than just a “secular music in church” question, this is about the carnal commercialization and absence of moral authority with the black church. This is 2-3 generations worth of being silent when we could’ve led the conversation, supporting public policies that decimated our communities, and becoming the least influential institution in our communities. Just a few days ago, I was thinking about the benefits of becoming a Muslim. I was hoping the Lord would give me insight. Many things were revealed to me that made me decide not to join the Muslim religion. I even saw a sign where Jesus says he’s the way, the truth, and the light. There is no other way to God.
What struck me was one of the things that was revealed to me is the Christian faith will get smaller and the Muslim faith will grow ALOT in the near future. I mean people will be joining like crazy from so many different places. And the reason why is because there will be so much calamity in the world that the Muslim religion will claim to be the answer to bringing peace to the world. And many people will blindly follow.
I thought about why the Christian faith would diminish and watching the behavior of our church leaders including the behavior of those who claim to be believers makes it seem plausible. Research even shows that there is a great decline of people going to church.
I am not happy to say these things but I am happy that Jesus is returning. I hope I will be ready and I hope you will be too.
Well, praise God you did not become a Muslim. But there’s no decline of people going to church. Going to church doesn’t make a person saved anyway so that doesn’t matter. We actually need less churches, and the ones that are open. Preaching the truth.
What comes to mind on this topic is "PRIDE AND REBELLION."
And the word reads that "rebellion is the same as witchcraft."

The Bible says “be ye holy, for I am holy”. In or out the church, God is trying to restore his holy image in all who profess to believe in him, because everything other then that, is sin which brings mental, spiritual, physical and ultimately eternal death.
This church service was a disgrace and the Holy Spirit was not there. This is a prime example of a luke warm, Laodicean church that God is going to spit out of his mouth.

Why is this even a question? They know it’s wrong and they don’t care. They are not showing who they’ve become but rather who they’ve always been. The most appalling part is, the amount of people following the behavior. God is not mocked and He will deal with folks accordingly especially “leaders”. If one is called to lead and be an example of a responsible and righteous leader, there is no excuse for deliberate sin, disregard, rebellion. This is why we follow God not man and some folks can’t seem to tell the difference. I’m praying for all because even a child would know that the behavior is inappropriate so there’s no excuse nor explanation. Jesus, help!

I was looking for this comment. It’s easy to fall into dual thinking saying “this is for church and this isn’t”. God is everywhere! His spirit is within us. Everything we watch, think, say, or do should honor God.

I've was raised in the black church. I'm 50 yrs old and now refuse to go back. Living and going to church in Atlanta, Georgia simply became a show. Bentley's, Tesla's, Range Rovers, private jets, helicopters, etc. in pastors parking spaces all over the city. I'm convinced that Jesus would have driven a Prius. This makes church look no different from the world. 😢
Let's face it: there are different types of "christians" nowadays. The Bible says do not mix the profane with what is Holy. It also says to render unto Cesar that which is Cesar's and unto God, that which is God's. But, people have been allowed to carve out their own definition of a christian, making it align with their personal lifestyle. The point in coming to Christ is to change one's ways; to put away the wordly lifestyle and walk in communion with God. What is the difference between the world and the church? It is God's standard as decribed in the Word, and that standard is - Holiness.
