Dharla Tar Chavatay is a marathi movies about Raja Patil (Ashok Saraf) is a businessman who lives with his sister Nayan (Alka Kubal). Mohan Gosavi (Lakshmikant Berde) gets a job in Raja’s office. Raja is in love with Ashwini (Rekha Rao) but he wants his sister to marry first. Unaware of the fact that Nayan and Mohan love each other, Raja tries to fix her marriage with Mr. Tonage (Dilip Prabhavalkar) who pretends to be rich American returned Doctor and helped by Mona (Priya Berde) in his plan. However, under some strange circumstances, Raja asks Mohan to act as Ashwini’s lover. What could be the reason behind it? Will marriages of Mohan - Nayan and Raja - Ashwini take place? लक्ष्या अशोकचे सिनेमे सह्याद्रीवर बघत आम्ही लहानाचे मोठे झालो. शनिवारी दुपारी साडेतीन आणि रविवारी दुपारी चार वाजताचे सिनेमे टीव्हीवर बघायला सगळे शेजारी, मित्र आमच्याकडे यायचे आणि एकत्र सिनेमा बघत हसायचे. ती मजा आणि ते समाधान आताच्या 4k HD netflix prime कशातच नाही.
चित्रपटाला 10/- रु आणि छायागीत ला 5/-रु,असे पैसे घेत होते। त्याकाळी ज्यांच्याकडे TV होता ते लोक,पण मज्जा यायची.

अशोक सराफ सारखा अभिनेता यामागे झाला नसेल आणि या पुढे ही होणार नाही
