I think that the Yoshi in tekken is the first yoshi (chronologically) because he was dead and "brought back to life" by Bosconovich. We dont know when he live originally probably before the events of SC hence Tekken Yoshimitsu was actually the first. Thank you. :)
I've played tekken Yoshimitsu and first impressions of this guy in this game they made his voice annoying as hell, that's just my opinion i'm getting nostalgia watching him fight though which is cool.

Adrian Bigboss Yoshimitsu never died. His arm got badly injured and Bosconovich made an robotic arm for him. He saved his arm and life by that.
