Thank you for the video. I believe this is the only video in You tube on how to remove the windshield on a Jeep CJ 7. I would like to see the one when you install the windshild. Thank you and great job👍🏼.
@@balbowskie187443 Sweet! Thanks. If you order the glass online you must try to be there when the glass arrives in order for you to inspect it. I purchase mine from ebay and the delivery guy never rang the door bell and left it at my front door. Lucky for me the glass was ok but inside was a note telling me that I should inspect it at arrival. There is a guy here in You tube who purchased a glass and he notice that the box was in good condition so he thought the glass was ok, later he found out it was broken and they wouldn't do anything for him. Just saying! BTW I still haven't put the glass in and just to put the seal around it was a pain in the you know what!🙄. So I have the seal around the glass but I don't know if I used the correct grove and I am afraid to break it, lol. Anyway ,thanks and good luck.
@@MrElPoderozo1 good idea on putting the seal on early. And thanks for the knowledge.if you look at the seal closely you will see one of the grooves has small lines inside of it. That groove is the one that contacts the glass. You will also see one side of the seal is fatter than the other, the fat side goes out
I've tried to install the windshields already with a new seal, it's ridiculously hard to put them in without breaking them especially if it's an old windshield (with a new seal). If you can possibly try to meticulously clean and reuse the old seal.
