Best analysis I've seen on any podcast. Appreciate no hedging, just your honest take!

Burrow is definantly bigger than last year and even when he came into the NFL. In season 1 he weighed 221 last year he went down to 215 for some reason I think he is closer to 230 now. I think he weighs about 227. Which is perfect. 225-232 is where I want his weight.

Joe and Jamar have practiced together this offseason for a couple of weeks. Chase could go out there in game 1 haveing not practiced with the team 1 time and have 100 and 2 tds. He is just that dude. I know it’s going to hurt to pay him but you gotta do it. He is not only a top 3 WR in this league but he is Burrows best friend. Literally they are best friends. They have been playing together for 5 years and have known each other more than 6 years.

But guys Murphy did produce last year when he was in the game. He played 300 snaps and had 20 tackles and 3 sacks. That’s pretty good production for a rookie DE. Ossais first season playing in 2022 he played about 300 snaps
And had 17 tackles 3.5 sacks 1 pass deflection 2 Fumble Recoverys and 1 TD. For 300 snaps for a rookie well it was his second year but the first time
He played in the NFL those stats are impressive. And the 300 snaps for both of them weren’t just pass rush snaps. They were total snaps. 1st 2nd and 3rd down. If you look at Murphys 3 sacks and Ossais 3.5 in the context of how many pass rush snaps that was done in it’s fairly impressive for 2 guys who were playing in the NFL for the first time.

Yea next year Iosivas is going to be WR2 or 3 and Burton will be the other one. It will be Chase, Burton and Iosivas. Charlie Jones is dam good too so is Trenton Irwin. Jones main value in my opinion is as a return specialist. But yea he can also be lined up out wide or in the slot. He is good. Iosivas looks a lot bigger and stronger than last year. He is 6’3’’ and looks to be about 215. He is the best pure athlete on the team. His Relative Athletic Score is 9.98.

Myles Murphy is DE3 and Ossai is DE4 this year. I think both of these guys are going to break out this year. I’m predicting at least 8 sacks for each of them. Murphy is going to be great and Ossai has just had bad luck until now. I believe Ossai is going to have a Bryce Huff kind of
Break out year and may price himself out of town. Or I could see them waiving Hubbard next year and keeping Ossai. I would have signed Ossai to a 2 year 6 million dollar deal this year so we would be for sure to have him next year too. I have thought this for a long time Ossai and now Murphy are the future starting DE’s for the Bengals.

Dude 99% of rookie CBs struggle. Sauce Gardner is literally the only one I’ve seen that did not. Turner is going to be fine. He was the best man cover CB in his class. That’s not just my opinion but others share that opinion. Other analysts and former players who live eat breath and sleep football. Chris Simms for instance. He had DJ Turner as his CB2 in that class and he said what I already know. That DJ was the best man cover CB in the class.

Kendric Pryor was a good WR at Wisconsin. And he has 4.3 speed. 4.38 i think so he is just as fast as Dax is in a straight line anyway. Turner has the advantage of being the third fastest guy in the NFL. Not Tyrek isn’t the fastest. Hill ran a 4.29 which isn’t even top 5 in the NFL. Turner just has that speed to make up for any mistakes he may make. He has rare rare speed. The dude has Olympic athlete kind of speed.

Trent Brown is just as good at LT as he is at RT. Trent Brown blocking on an island
Last year in one on one by yourself no TE or RB help last year Trent Brown was the 2nd best in the league at doing that. Tyron Smith was the best and Trent Brown was the second best. He is an elite pass protector and had an 80.3 run blocking grade. He is dam good. Saying all that I think Mims is going to be better. I think in 3 or 4 years when we look back on this OT class it will be crystal clear to everyone that Mims was the best of the bunch. I would have 0 problem starting him on day 1. As long as Trent is ok with that. But likewise I think Trent is great too. I like Trent better as out swing tackle too. And putting Trent out their on jumbo sets. Can you imagine how much easier it’s going to be running behind fucking Alex Cappa, Amarius Mims and Trent Brown!? He and Zach Moss are probably praising the lord right about now. Trent is a borderline elite run blocker. And Mims is going to be elite at everything he does. He will be on an All Pro Team within 4 years and a Pro Bowl withinn years. Of this I have no doubts.

This why it be hard to trust what u hear. Malik wright says DJ Turner has been looking bad and Dax Hill has been shinning in camp so far. But Jay says the opposite here. Sigh.

Dax Hill is going to back up Mike Hilton this year and he will get some playing time. Next season Dax will be the starting nickel CB on the team. Bevaue o think Turner is going to be great at outside CB because that’s where he played in college. And the nickel spot is where Dax played in college. Dax didn’t play safety In college. He played a little SS in the box but was
Primarily a nickel CB. And he has great size and speed for nickel. Hilton is great but he is going to get a contract for 10 million dollars a year from someone and
I don’t think the Bengals want to go there.

Jamar Chase isn’t just a good WR like a CeeDee Lamb or a Brandon Auiyuk. Chase is a game breaker. He can break the game wide open. He can take the top off the defense at will. Lamb and Ahiyuk cannot do that because they don’t have the speed or strength to do that. Chase is probably the strongest WR in the NFL. He was power cleening 375 fucking pounds!! Most of linemen and d linemen cannot do that. And Chase is 6’ and little bit over 6’ 205 although I think he is closer to 210 now. He is a freak show athlete. You have to pay him whatever he wants!! And the Bengals also need to give Trey Hendrickson a raise. He should be making no less than 23 mil a year. I don’t give a fuck what Madden or the NFL
Says. Trey Hendrickson is a top
5 edge rusher in this league. He is better than Micha Parsons. Yea Paraons is faster but Trey is way bigger and stronger than he is. Parsons is 245 and Trey is 270.
