When I first learned about this flower, I was so captivated by its beauty. Then, a home I bought had two large mature plants...Thank you for posting this...very useful information.
This plant is very nice. White and red colour flowers looking so beautiful. I want to grow this plant in front of my house. Thank you for your video and your tips. I like your video. It's 98th like. I watched full video. 😊Happy gardening😊
@Venkat Lakshmi Gandepalli, Glad you liked it and thank you So much for your words, really appreciated 😊 It's almost like a lockdown in my place..so, taking sometime..
Bleeding heart dropped all the leaves and one flower it came with from the nursery. Will it survive? I have already repotted but still all the leaves fell off. What is the best way forward?
@learning Add in me, I am just trying...thank you for your words :-) I started recording from 2018 but growing plants from my childhood as my parents are gardener too :-) Mom is a great fan of flowering plants 😂😂
@Soumya's Mehandi and Creativity, Glad you liked it, thank you very much :-) 8am to 6 pm online vedio classes..baapre...lots of time. Great to know you are working hard, good luck :-)
How early can I propagate for gifts from a very sentimental bleeding heart from my mother n law that’s past…zone 5. Could I do these inside? Wanted to give for Mother’s Day to my adult daughters… it’s now end of Sept.. Thank you!
Thanks gor the video, my query is.Do we need to keep the plant in sun, i purchased from nursery and after planting it grown initially but now no growth . Keeping in indirect sunlight should i move to direct sunlight.
@Anil Kumar, You are most welcome and thank you for watching :-) Since your plant is not growing, please provide 4-5 hours of direct Sunlight. But still, they even bloom in bright light. I have provided complete care info and provided few tips to get more flowers on this video - ruclips.net/video/qsycGsvwy1A/видео.html
@nitin verma, I am being honored and thank you So much for the support, appreciate it. Please watch today's video (would upload in few minutes) There I have provided all the tips with 3 year's updates :-) If you don't get the answer, please send me few details about your plant and I would try my best to assist you and Sir is not required actually :-)
@geetha purushotham, Glad to know they are helpful and thank you so much for the feedback, much appreciated. Would need to use Pesticide such as Quinolphos, Roket or if you want to use Organic then please use Theeta. Dose - 1.5 - 2ml in 1 liter water. Hope that helps, thank you :-)
@sharad patil, Glad you liked it and thank you so much for the feedback! Sure, I would do very soon and already took the cuttings few days back. I already have one plant but it's in ground and don't prefer to do video on the plants which are in ground as I won't be able to provide updates. Finally, Sir is totally not required :-)
@Sweety Sonawane, Thank you So much Sis :-) No, not at all! In fact, they are growing quite nicely now :-) Actually, like you, I also feel bad about it and don't want to do it. But problem is, people don't believe..and want to see the roots. So, I do it. But, at the same time, I make sure to repot them immediately once recording is done. As of now, all are doing great :-)
Fine Details. Just a small correction: This is not the Bleeding Heart flower (Dicentra spectabilis), but rather the Bleeding Heart Vine (Clerodendrum thomsoniae). Beautiful plant nonetheless!
Lovely and informative video! Greetings from Singapore! Can you suggest or show best method for Nong Nooch … because stems are mostly thinner than a pencil’s width. Much appreciations.
See you kali 🤣 very cute 🥰🥰 I have been watching your videos and learnt a lot. Most of all I love your honesty and eagerness to share your knowledge. Taken up gardening few months back after leaving the tea gardens in Assam 30 years ago! Making many mistakes and killed many plants by overwatering:( Recently found your channel and subscribed. Think I am slowly getting there and thrilled with my Bleeding Heart as I had hard pruned it in March thinking it was dead and now it’s blooming really well. My question: do I need to provide it with support to climb as it’s growing tall? Yours looks bushy and I want mine to look like that too instead of climbing a trellis. Please help!
@Luna Bezbaroa, Thank you So much for the encouraging words, I really appreciate it! 30 years in Tea garden, that's really great to know, hats off to you! Yeah, it would be bit support or else, we would need to keep pruning. Just adding 2-3 bamboo or wooden sticks would be fine as it's not that aggressive. How to make them bushy - please watch today's video and there I have discussed everything. I would upload within next few minutes. Thank you once again and take care :-)
@@GardeningUpbeat Thankyou for responding! My heart bleeds to prune it now 😁 so will wait till the blooms come down! Meanwhile I have made a trellis and letting it have it’s way!
Sir, Nice informative video Two months ago I brought few cuttings of red bleeding heart plant and planted in a small pot. As it started growing well, I transplanted all the cuttings in a bigger pot day before yesterday. Today I saw that all the leaves wilted. What is the reason, will they survive or not please confirm as I am really sad seeing the condition. Waiting for your response.
@@GardeningUpbeat Mine is big and healthy but no bloom I have it for more than 2 years How can I induce it to bloom? I didn't understand what made yours bloom at such early stage is it the vermicompost you added?
@Jokha Mohamed, 2 years and no bloom...that bit strange! You can try to make the soil acidic either by using leaf compost or Aluminum Sulfate [Please watch my yesterday's video where I have discussed everything - ruclips.net/video/qsycGsvwy1A/видео.html] My cuttings bloomed at early stage because of 3 things - I planted the cuttings at the right time 2. Took the cuttings from the plant which has good blooming record [It's just like the air layering or grafting method as we can expect fruits on plants much faster than a plant which is grown from seed] 3. Used good soil. If I am not wrong, you watch my videos often. So, whenever you have a question, please add in a new comment. RUclips doesn't send any notification for nested comment.
