31:58 🎵Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way!🎵 Yeah!
One of the very best versions of Monopoly that I've played (and still do play) was a DOS version written in Pascal by a fellow named Adam Stevens. It had a good set of options and was pretty easy to configure using common house rules, etc. Mr. Stevens had a Virgin e-mail address in 1998. Given how good this version looks, how good his DOS port was and the fact that he alluded to trying to port his copy to Windows; I wonder if he was in any way connected with this version?
53:30 My favorite “doh!”
Homer Simpson in a nutshell
That sound also plays in Chicken Invaders 2 when the cop catches our hero followed by a “womp womp womp womp”
5:45 Dam (Community Chest version)
I'm surprised the "yeah" wasn't an "aaaah yeeeahh, booooyy", if we're going by early 90s standards.
The little difficulty icons though. 386/33 was the best.
I remember this game like the back of palm. I always looked forward to it every time I finished my homework.
Sorry for your loss😓
How’s life without her for 5 years straight?
I guess MS-DOS or Windows 3.1 didn’t let us down. :)
Commodore James 2019 “Respect and dignity.” Furthermore: (“Respect and dignity!”) • “Respect and dignity, 2019?”
_EASILY_ my favorite version of Monopoly! (The NES version takes a very close 2nd place however) I still have the 3 floppy disks from when it was accidentally purchased in 1992 for a PC that was waaay too slow to run it... in fact, that XT class Tandy 1000RL didn't even have a FDD that could read the super fancy pants 3 1/2 inch "high density" 1.44MB floppies - only a 3 1/2 inch "double density" 720KB drive. I had to wait until fall 1993 when we got a blazing fast 486 DX/2 66Mhz powered juggernaut to try it out. ^_^ I still fire this version up in DOSBox every couple months and wipe the floor with the hilariously inept "hard" AI players! XD
I was at the Vintage Computer Festival in Chicagoland (Elmhurst) on Saturday, and I saw this, and thought about it. I ended up not picking it up, but for a DOS port, it looks fantastic! It almost looks Windows 3.1 like!
The NES version is my #1 favorite Monopoly port, followed by the Hasbro Windows 95 port.
I recognized the intro song as "Parade Tune" from Cool Spot.
52:47 Oh nice double brings u back in game bug, so Dog is bankrupt by regular Park Place. xD
Does anyone know what they're saying when you do an auction? It sounds something like Sacajeweenie and Louise somewhere in there as well
53:33 Homer Simpson: "D'oh!"
The Simpsons reference
I love the tech jokes about how difficult the AI players are! Like most Monopoly video game releases, this one has a lot of charm and goofiness!
Thank you for watching!
I wish if Hoyle introduces the monopoly game into their Hoyle Board Games series.
13:44 my favorite sound
29:43 pay poor tax of $15
18:16 pay doctor's fee of $50
24:50 pay hospital of $100
15:25 pay school tax of $150
D’oh!
Some people pointed out that the dog got bankrupted twice and the game ended with the car as the winner with the horse unaffected, but my guess is that it might have been the game's AI mistaking the dog's second bankruptcy for the horse going bankrupt. AI in 1992 wasn't perfect or at the very least similar to the AI we have now!
The horse didn’t even go bankrupt 💀
Game glitched when the dog rolled doubles and went bankrupt twice.

I used to play this game a lot, and I remember that there was a way you could have it color/pattern code each property to show who owned it. It made the game much, much better. But now I can't figure it out? Anybody know how to do this??
to toggle it, just open the "owners" menu and choose "all patterns on". however, depending on the version you have, this menu item (and the corresponding "all patterns off" option) may not exist by default. in that case, you need to open "mp.ini" and in between any of the POPUP and POPDOWN commands, add or un-comment the lines:
MENUITEM "&All Patterns On" PattsOn SEPARATOR
MENUITEM "All &Patterns Off" PattsOff
further down in the same file, you can also edit the patterns themselves.
Que mola😂🎉
Doh!

The music in the intro sounds like Thomas the Tank Engine music.
52:47 Uh oh...
Kristian Hietanen :(
Este lo jugué en su día, en un 286 creo.
Amigamers T.V.
Name of the intro song plz
Shazam that shit
The end of the game doesn't really seem like the end because there's only two people left at the end. Why didn't it wait until there's only one remaining after everyone else is bankrupt?
The game glitched
52:51 Mr. Monopoly doesn’t feel so good
Btw... I lost count on how many times you got arrested in monopoly...
Monopoly guy: 🤦♂️ *turns invisible*

That was a long intro. Was there a way to skip it
Uhhh.... I don’t know
Find the simpler versions so much better than the super 3D version of this game. No unnecessary fluff.
