Thanks for mentioning that some aren't included because they weren't confirmed. I heard Windmill Valley is set to release as well but yeah, really would be great if publishers got their ducks in a row. I've had too many 'coming this month' ETA by companies that really came out 1 to 2 quarters later in the end. Keep up the good work!
Agueda is one of my favorites. I loved how the umbrellas feel when you pull them out of the bag and place them. The solo play is also good. Also played Mutton Bustin is great for small group fun. Everyone is constantly involved in the game so it is no down time.
Yeah unfortunately I'm not on Rahdo's channel right now. You can find them in my Shorts on my channel. I'd like to do the longer form versions again but just haven't had time.
I don't care about other ppls wants out of a video. Make your own comment and praise the video then. For me, nothing of interest for me. I didn't come looking for games for ppl I don't know to buy.
@@GrantLyon its a clever worker-placement game in which you build the worker spaces in the form of machines. Players park their derigibles next to the machines to gain their benefits. However, similar to the fog in this game, the water is rising up, taking the machines down...
These games sound aweful for anyone over 10 years old. I wouldnt be caught playing these games as a grown man in public. Weeeee look at the perdy pastic umbrella meeples!!!!!
Dave what kind of boardgames do you play? Grant does a amazing job letting all his subscribers know what to expect to see being released from boardgames publishers. I appreciate this list and please keep this content coming.
@@jgutkind None of these games seem good. They don't seem interesting or inspiring or have something new. They are just the same old simple mechanics with some shiny umbrella meeples and colorful bits of cardboard, to sell boxes of compressed paper to adult-children who are attracted to shiny little toys, and are hoarders. I guarantee ALL of these games will be totally and utterly forgotten in less than a month, if that because they have no substance. I have a small-medium-ish, very carefully curated collection of about 50 board games. I like OG-style Euro games. Most of what I see, coming out these days are simply reskinned, and worse rehashes of modern classics. The REAL good stuff gets reprinted every few years. What are the awesome classics? Power Grid, Ra, Hansa Teutonica, Agricola, Concordia, Kemet, Azul, Carcassonne, El Grande, Alien Frontiers, Through the Desert, to name a few. There is a reason why these games are still around 25 years after they came out in some cases. These are games that invite deeper "study" if you will. And have a ton of strategy to explore. Most don't even have fancy components. Why? Because they don't need them. The games stand on their own, without HUGE minis, or bright candy colored components (Azul exception granted ). Hansa Teutonica is a board and literally just some wooden cubes and discs. The same with Power Grid, the same with Troyes and El Grande. A lot of the modern games are also just game designers and publishers throwing EVERY mechanism under the sun into games and a bunch of "content" to make them "heavy" because they think this is what will get "gamers" to buy. And then the game ends up being a massive flop, but who cares...they made at least a few million on it from the kickstarter suckers, and those publishers and designers have families to feed and car payments to make. So, I urge everyone to up their selectivity a bit on what games they spend their hard earned money on. Not only will this be friendly to your wallet and psyche, but also put pressure on publishers to release substantive games in the future.
Thanks for including Seaside!! Thrilled you are liking Seaside 🌊
Yeah it's great!

Yeah they actually just got back to me today and said Windmill Valley will be coming out this month.

It's a great game!
We played SO MUCH CABANGA at Origins this year! Love it!
It looked really fun! I saw lots of people playing it
I had not heard of The Fog: Escape From Paradise before this video, but I'm very interested in it. Thanks for putting it on my radar, Grant!
I agree. That is the one that stood out for me too😊
Happy to put it on your radar! I liked the prototype so I'm excited to try the finished version.
7:29 Not BA-ZIN-GA, but KA-BAN-GA!!!! 😉
Yeah exactly haha
Heat wave coming this week so beach season is on... Seaside looks really fun! Need to find a copy ASAP...
Seaside is great for a little filler game!
Hey Grant, where do you put your greatest games of the month videos after January? Can't seem to find them on Rhado's channel.
He's not on Rahdo's channel anymore - just his own.
Yeah unfortunately I'm not on Rahdo's channel right now. You can find them in my Shorts on my channel. I'd like to do the longer form versions again but just haven't had time.
@@GrantLyon Oh, I am not used to checking the Shorts :D. Thanks, I will be doing it from now on.
@@tonydimov6268 thanks for checking them out!
So the moral of the story is nothing good is coming out this year! Thanks for the heads up lol
Well this is only one of twelve months, so you have plenty of time to find something you're excited about
Couldn't agree more. These all look like trees were killed for nothing. :(
You should try thinking about other people. I'm excited about a couple games in this list for gifts. I know lots of kids.

What is a pirate’s favorite vegetable?
Arghtichokes!
Haha solid
18:28 And if you like Ravine, for the weird things it makes you do, then there are more in “Why Are You Like This?”
Cool!
The Fog is giving major Whistle Mountain vibes...
I haven't played that one yet!

I will be zero of these 27
Then it's a good thing lots of games come out each month.

I disagree. You can play anything you want in public.
