@Elizabeth S Don't do it! This is, absolutely, a sponsored vid. This foundation sets really fast, totally unbuildable as it rubs off after it sets, really quickly, and you try to add more. It pools in your pores and make them look like craters and then looks even worse after about 5 minutes. It's not the least bit hydrating. There are far better drug store/High Street options for a lot less.
It worked really good for me, I live in Arizona which it gets really hot during the summer and one of those days my car decided to stop working I was sweating like crazy for over 30 min I was thinking to my self my make up is melting it probably looks horrible and I looked in the mirror and I was impressed my face was intact it really has a staying power and waterproof , everyone one has different skin types so i say try a sample and see how you like it
I used this foundation for sooo long as I felt like it was one of the only foundations I could wear all day every day without looking greasy. I always felt it was a thicker foundation though (I applied with Zoeva flat top) which is why I ended up changing over to Nars, but with a silky primer and a beauty blender it might look way better. Excited to try it out again :)

The foundation finish still made her skin look good, it's just the colour saturation was really high (maybe more so a camera issue than a lighting one?)
Some are some are not, some thinner foundations are meant to be build-able which means you can layer it in certain areas depending on your desired coverage. I like those more than thicker foundations because I don't need such thick coverage all over my face. Some foundations with a thinner consistency are better coverage than thicker like my Clinique acne solutions. It doesn't accentuate my pores or give me cake face but covers my acne better than Estée Lauder DW which I also have. But that's also cuz everyone has different skin types.

I have eczema too, around my nose and mouth area... I use mac face and body, but sometimes that can get too much shine. The tip that i can give you is moisturize before any foundation, i love mac complete confort cream, its made for sensitive and red skin... I use thermal water too. Hope it helps you, since eczema is forever 😔.

So I have combination skin and my t-zone can be dry yet extremely oily and my nose has texture and all that shit, and its HARD to find a good foundation. This one works SO WELL. I pair it with the smashbox photo finish primer, then porefessional balm right underneath and once i've added this foundation with a beauty blender, I use laura mercier translucent loose powder to set everything & if i'm having a day where my face is extra dry, i'll even add some drops of tarte maracuja oil on my beauty blender before I blend this foundation on my face. My skin looks as smooth as ever, foundation lasts ALL day long, i don't look dry at all, nor do I look oily (thanks to that powder) and it looks like natural skin texture but better, never cakes or anything. FUCKING 100/10 especially because it works so well with the products I mentioned.

It claimed to be 15 hr wear and hydrating, but after the first hour or so it started to separate around my nose and chin and cling to my dry spots. Very disappointed. :( I feel like i'll never find my perfect pale, dry skin-friendly foundation..*sigh*
I am pale with really dry skin and honestly the giorgio armani luminous silk is the only thing I can wear. It looks so natural on my skin when everything else looks cakey. In my opinion it is worth the splurge but maybe get a sample to see how it works for you :)

Yes! I actually have this foundation for a while now because I went to Ulta and asked their makeup artist for a good foundation for oily skin, and they recommended this one.
If you have oily skin throughout the day, try introducing an oil into your skincare routine at night. It will stop your skin from over producing it during the day.
You're probably putting too much product in that area - just skip the foundation under the eyes, and just use hydrating concealer rather than one that dries matte
Baking can often make wrinkles more intense. (although yes you should be setting with powder). Try drinking more water/improving your skin care routine too to improve the problem rather than covering it :)
I know you're 'meant' to set your under eye, but if you have wrinkles there it actually helps to not use a lot of powder products and as someone else mentioned use less products in general for your under eyes. Also if you like a smokey eye, doing a smokey under eye can hide it a bit also, can be a natural colour. hope this helps! :)

I had this foundation. Honest review : it is very sticky and feels tacky on the face. It tends to CLOG pores. Not just with me but with many people that used it. And it does oxidize. It has a semi matte finish. Would NOT recommend
+brittany c yes. It looks like it is a yellow base initially. Which is what drew me to the foundation in the first place, but after it takes some time to set and mix with your skins oils it tends to oxidize into an orange color

i have extremely dry skin too and the best foundation that looks and feels amazing for my dry skin is makeup forever Ultra HD. i recommend you take a sample and try it because its a bit pricey

Yes! I actually have this foundation for a while now because I went to Ulta and asked their makeup artist for a good foundation for oily skin, and they recommended this one.

If you have oily skin throughout the day, try introducing an oil into your skincare routine at night. It will stop your skin from over producing it during the day.

Bake it
You're probably putting too much product in that area - just skip the foundation under the eyes, and just use hydrating concealer rather than one that dries matte
Baking can often make wrinkles more intense. (although yes you should be setting with powder). Try drinking more water/improving your skin care routine too to improve the problem rather than covering it :)
I know you're 'meant' to set your under eye, but if you have wrinkles there it actually helps to not use a lot of powder products and as someone else mentioned use less products in general for your under eyes. Also if you like a smokey eye, doing a smokey under eye can hide it a bit also, can be a natural colour. hope this helps! :)

I had this foundation. Honest review : it is very sticky and feels tacky on the face. It tends to CLOG pores. Not just with me but with many people that used it. And it does oxidize. It has a semi matte finish. Would NOT recommend
By oxidize do you mean that it fades/turns darker or that it turns orangey after you've put it on?
+brittany c yes. It looks like it is a yellow base initially. Which is what drew me to the foundation in the first place, but after it takes some time to set and mix with your skins oils it tends to oxidize into an orange color

I'm not trying to be a jerk, but I've never understood the problem with sponsored videos. #1 she told you it was sponsored up front. #2 This is her job. This is how she earns a living. But it doesnt mean that she has to sell out or be dishonest. She could choose to work with brands that she supports and believes in. #3 But, one thing to consider, do you question the honesty and integrity of the celebrities that promote the lipsticks and the eyeshadows, hair color, perfumes, etc that they promote, and tell you they love in commercials? Its called being an Brand Influencer. Its her job to tell you about these products. And she has reached a certain level of viewership to be considered a Brand Influencer. She influences what people buy. But, like I said, it does not mean that she is dishonest, quite the opposite actually. How many times do you hear Jaclyn Hill telling people that her videos are sponsored? Or that her stupid Ride or Die tag was nothing more than a way to get people to click on her Reward Style Me links? Those werent her favorite products, shes full of crap. Just like her "Favorites" Videos. Its all crap she picked from a list on Reward Style Me. At least Chloe is 100% honest about her sponsorships. You have to respect that.

She didn't say this Smashbox primer was her favourite she said its the number one in the US and that she likes it. She said the foundation is one of her favourites. Im not even a youtuber but you shouldn't jump on them this is their job and how they make money :P You can see the foundation looks good on her so obviously it works for her and that is all she is saying :) I know for sure she doesn't need me standing up for her but i'm just saying people need to stop being so sensitive to these things makeup will work differently on everyone anyways :D

I get your point, I really do, but smaller RUclipsrs don't get PR's nor do they get paid for giving positive reviews unlike Chloe, RUclipsrs get paid based on the number of views this just brings extra cash.
I just appreciate honesty when reviewing products which is biased when they get paid to do so.

Nowhere in the video did she say the primer was her favorite, and even if she did, who cares. You can have multiple favorite makeup products that do different things depending on how you want to do your makeup any given day. Don't support her now if you can't handle a sponsored video, but that's on you~
