@@me5o164 actually if you listen to the complete songs, 1 ends with the same beat 99 starts, implying, that it keeps going on again and again. It also mirrors mobs mental state in the series, after every 100% he starts on zero. This is so well thought through

One and only indeed...this series sets the bar high for the near flawless collaboration between author and studio.

Not only that but since the previous openings where 99 and 99.9 which are percentages 1 is basically the same as 100%
99: a perfect introduction to the psychedelic nature of mob psycho. depicts a chaotic adolescence and could even be a celebration of that adolescence. perfectly fits the less structured but enjoyably chaotic nature of the first season.
99.9: pushes the psychedelic, drug-induced vibe even further while echoing one of the main messages of the anime “your life is your own”. the opening itself is more explosive, paralleling mob’s new openness to his own emotions, and could be seen as a celebration of animation.
1: the most climactic, cathartic, and maybe even emotional of all the openings. the strings in the song give it a real sense of finality. in this season, mob will realize his own individuality and learn to accept himself. a celebration of mob’s growth and his story

The first OP in the series to not end where it began, giving the series so much finality. Studio Bones absolutely crushed every season, this has been such a perfect adaptation of One's work.
If you listen to the full version, you can hear the ticks from the beginning of the first opening at the very end of the song. It's a nice callback to the beginning of Mob's journey

This one’s not at the standards of the last ones but that’s not really what it’s going for
It’s one of those openings that’s impossible to skip. You have a higher chance of replaying it rather than skipping it.

The title isn't a collage of panels any more, it's a collage of clips. The show isn't just paying its respects to the source material now but to its own journey as well, and it's well deserved.

The unsung hero that really deserves recognition, aside from the incredible animators bringing this story to life, is the origibal creator ONE. This guy had a passion to tell stories, and even though he couldn't draw as well as a lot of other mangaka, he never gave up on his dream. He is responsible for two of the most popular and influential series: One Punch Man and Mob Psycho 100. Let this be a lesson to you: No matter how down in the dumps you feel, never stop pursuing your dreams. You can, and you WILL achieve them, as long as you never give up!
he did give up though. temporarily! when one punch man went on an indefinite hiatus way back. not to prove you wrong, but rather. if you gave up before? dig up and reignite those old passion projects. taking a hiatus can still improve your skills, reduce burnout, as long as you still take in and study what inspires you and supplement it with other endeavors. going back to stuff you thought you gave up on, is rescinding your initial feelings of defeat. forgive yourself, and get out there and get back to those dreams!

Is anyone gonna talk about how awesome it is for them to name the final op after ONE, as well as have it complete the number pattern of these song titles so well? One is so much more fitting of a title than 100 (which is what I'm sure we all expected). Mob psycho really feels like ONE's masterpiece and to see it adapted so respectfully and passionately is more than I could ever wish for.

MOB CHOIR slaps as always, every single one of their opening themes is a perfect fit for this anime title, with this _one_ being no exception
The hand on the shoulder at the end representing reigen saying to mob “you can trust me”, “I’m here for you”, and “don’t grow up too fast” all in one to stop him from growing into someone he’ll regret. It’s so beautiful. This series and it’s finale has left me utterly speechless. Thank you studio Bones and thank you ONE.
My personal #1 Anime. I am not one to skip intros in general, but Mob Psycho 100 ... Every single one is an absolute homerun! Theme slaps af and I love how you get to understand the intro images while you progress through the series.
0:11 I love that sequence of Kageyama somehow spitting his image and going back. It's so random
studio bones really out did themselves again, I didn't think this op would be better than s1 and 2 - but wow, they took the trippy, colorful and flowy art-style from last ops and bumped the meter up to 1000%.

For a second, the muffled singing at the beginning actually made me think something was wrong with my speakers.
It’s one of the few shows where the animators actually show their love throughout the years for this anime, all the openings have been absolutely fantastic and I can’t wait to see the final season.

I see some people debating about the openings. Which I kind of understand. There's one fact you simply cannot deny though. This OP definitely feels like a finale. A lovingly crafted farewell to the series.
I love how unconventional all of Mob Psycho's openings are, and I think this opening might've somehow topped the other ones for me. Plus there's Reigen posing 10/10

Well, the series is officially over, and knowing there won't be any more continuations saddens me. But nevertheless, I am content with the show's ending - it really taught me life lessons I never thought would be important. Thank you and goodbye, Mob.

I've just realised that this is the only mob op that doesn't form a closed loop. The cycle of Mob's explosions has been broken as he is now "one and only one" after accepting his emotional side

I started watching the anime partly for the bit at 1:24. I was like "I don't know who these two characters are but this is cute" AND IT WAS
This OP is a good representation of when you're a teenager in your final year at school, the uncertain future laid bare before you, and all your emotions and experiences are hitting you at once. How chaotic it can be. Glad Mob Choir could come back One more time.
