I love collecting figures like this too as long as they're durable. Spending hard money on expensive figures that break a LOT isn't worth it so much for me. For example, the Daft Punk SH Figuarts line. Delicate as all hell! I have BOTH of them and my Guy Manuel figure broke at the arm. My Tomas Bangalter one is still fine, but I need to treat it VERY carefully to ensure that it doesn't break.
I also got a Bootleg MP30 Ratchet figure, and some people are saying that it's better and more durable than the original, and as far as I can tell, it's PERFECT! It was an entire THIRD of the price, and it's still holding strong! Bootleg figures can be weird sometimes, but other times they can be great and really worth it.
I bought a Carnage clone and it came with a ton of red joints for the hands, so I'm probably going to pick this guy up too.

If you want the clones to last longer, put them in warm water and then you can put the hands and eyes easily (I know it video is 6years ago but if you didnt know about this then this might be a game changer)

Bricyn Bryan Madarang i got one for $9 but its was $17 shipped and done but i got it and the right arm snapped off immediately out of the box but ig i was being kinda rough on accident but i got it in a pose i bought this figure soley for and just super glued it in place it now stands well i just had to sacrifice that one arm articulation

great job, it helps alot to keep guys who are outta budget informed about those bootlegs quality if its worth it or not. I would suggest u put bootleg in video name so it appears when someone is searching for it (y)

Which one would be less risky? Getting this bootleg revoltech? Or the Homecoming figuarts bootlegs?
I feel like doing some sort of black spiderman repaint but I don't fork over 50-60$ to repaint an authentic one.
Great video brother!!! I have the official Revoltech Spider Man and love him. Mine comes with a clip that goes around the body and there's a magnet on the other side so you can have him crawling up or down a wall. I didn't see that with yours. I totally get needing to save money as my ASS is broke lol but with a few exceptions I try to buy the official product. Reasons being the real company don't see a dime from the bootleg sales. This means they make less money and therefore have to raise the price of their next release to make up the difference. Its kinda like they are compeating with their own product. Also most times bootleg quality is really bad. But the biggest reason I try to avoid bootlegs is the child and or slave labor used to work in the factory to produce the boot legs. Now this is not true of every case but it happens more than youd dare to believe. Primarily this comes out of China were criminal organizations use drugged up, dirt poor people or kids to work in the shitty factory and make the bootlegs. Now this happens more with designer clothes and sneakers but toys are also a huge market and poor underprivileged people and children are being exploited. Now please don't think I'm soap boxing as I myself will purchase certain bootlegs. Its just there is a lot more. going on behind the scenes than us saving some money by buying an inferior product. The one thing I will buy is certain PAK figures because paying $600 and up sometimes for a discontinued figure is way out of my budget and I can get one with loose joints for $30. Anyway good topic for discussion and keep up the great work brother...
Thank you for the vid, got 1 on the way and I was wondering how he was. I'm in the same boat as you as far as collecting hence my reason for buying bootlegs considering the fact that I wouldn't have brought it even if It was in my budget. I also brought a bag of joints and deadpool after I saw your deadpool review, hopefully they are actual revoltech with clicks and not more fake joints. I'll come back and comment if they are

Im actually thinking of getting this figure. The sh figurarts Spiderman was a wreck but I kept the weblines for my marvel legends Miles Morales. So now thanks to your video I DEFINITELY will be picking this figure up!

I actually have a tip for loose joints dont you just hate it if your ball joint becomes two peaces but not broken just two parts then put a tiny peace of paper to make it more tight it always works and I have a question whats the ingredient for that chemical I cant just buy some cause Im just a kid and I cant just ask my mom to buy me some we would have to go to a far mall to get some
does the magnetic clip holds up well? like can it carry the weight of marvel legends figures?
I think it can cause hes about the size of a marvel legends figure
btw when u unboxed the figure was there plastic wrapping on some of the joints on the figure.

Mines shoulder broke the day after I got him. There weren't any extras..... also the joints were supposed to ratchet...

I got that same mikasa clone and I feel your pain. I thought it was real and was so distraught but I later learned it was fake the price should've been a dead giveaway . Like you I never got another bootleg but I'm seriously considering getting this one.
I would love to know more about the Figure Bootlegging industry. Where do they get the moulds from, how do they decide which figures to bootleg, where are they made who makes them and who finances this stuff?

Super Glue can be used and u can look up how to do it but its a bit risky.

Well, I'm considering buying this bootleg because: 1) The original retail version is way above what I can pay, considering that I live in a country which everything is way more expensive than I would like to; 2) The drawbacks are not enough to discourage me, considering reason number 1; 3) I would just really love to have a decent spider-man figure, since I love the caracter and would love taking pictures with him in custom poses.
Some advice? I'm considering buying one but I'm not really sure anyways. Should I buy it, considering the three reasons?

Update: I got the figure and my expectations were actually exceeded! They actually used a few revoltech joints for the torso and the shoulders. as far as the paint it looks very faded and i dont thing it dried all the way, resulting in the red parts looking very dingy. plus the web effect parts for the thwipping hands dont plug in bc the hole is too small
You can use a pen or pencil to and use it to make a larger hole

just got Spiderman with 2 left fist other than that he's good
got deadpool as well, all of the eyes were painted as regular eyes. so instead of having big eyes they are painted as little slits. good thing i customize figures and i have paint on hand

The bootlegs are good for kids because if they are not bootlegs kids can break it easily.the bootlegs are does like toys but not made for toys
