When I thought Rayne couldn't stoop any lower, she manages to do so. Honestly I would feel so guilty for missing a family members funeral. Especially my sister who I'm so close with. Them playing the music made me giggle.
Yep. On Guiding Light, Ava Peralta kept pressuring Bill Lewis into marrying her because she was pregnant, he did, then their Baby Boy was born named Max whose skin color was "dark", he confonted her and she admitted she lost their baby, went to a sperm bank and got pregnant. Bill wanted to sue but then the real father was acknowledged Remington "Remy" boudreau with whom Ava had a one night stand with but conveniently forgot to tell. Max was Remy's Son, but the Baby died. I would have loved for it to be discovered that Max didn't die that he was given to a Family in Chicago, Ill.

Juliet should come back as a ghost and kick Rayne’s ass. Also, Juliet should have said “You need to leave that toxic witch” and would have made it all worthwhile

The more I see of Rayne the more vile and disgusting she becomes. I do think they are setting her up to become a toxic abuser of a kind with Romeo. Simply because they have her manipulating Romeo into missing Juliet's funeral. Yes, Romeo had his own free will, but Rayne clearly has him under her spell, also she has to be number one in his life over everything. The way she's already isolating him from his family and loved ones.
She straight up lied about finding a lump
Sure he missed the funeral but it wasn't his fault, he was just being the kind caring person he's always been

Romeo had one chance to say goodbye to his sister and he blew it. He blew it bad. I hope Romeo lives with the decisions he's made today for the rest of his life. And he can't blame Rayne for this. He needs to blame himself. Rayne is going to ruin Romeo's life until he has no one and he might kill himself like Rayne's ex maybe she dragged her ex away from his family until he couldn't take being alone and that's how he killed himself. James had every right to say what he did to his son. "Apologie to your sister oh wait you can't she's dead"

In his defence, Rayne is exploiting his vulnerability and grieving stage right now. She knows he isn't going to be thinking straight and going to be emotionally weak so she is using that to her advantage to get what she wants and control over him. That's usually how controlling/toxic relationships start and proceed. Exploit them at their lowest and most vulnerable and keep it going.

Amanda Read OA truthfully I didn’t want to go to my Boyfriend Pa’s burial or funeral because it reminded me of when I lost my Daddy and I can barely remember Daddy’s funeral and burial but I still went to support him and his Family. I even recorded and posted his burial and funeral if you want you can watch and comment on them but just know everyone is talking en Espanol “in Spanish”.

Romeo deserves every bit of misery Rayne will definitely bring his way. I'm glad they're finally done with Juliet's storyline so I don't have to keep checking for scenes. Normally I'm down for any f/f pairing but with the shitty writing on Hollyoaks these last few years I already know the Nadira/Lacey romance storyline is gonna be crap... and they'll likely put Peri with a man next... so unless Summer Ranger or Kim Butterfield returns, I'm moving on to watch better soaps with better writing and better storylines.
What other soaps do you recommend? I tried Emmerdale but it was too bleak and depressing.
