- This was supposed to be a stupid little project for fun - instead it turned into a two-week-long fever dream of hearing an AI repeat the same lines in the Narrator's voice until I'd lost my sanity.
Anyway, this is just a compilation of a bazillion little drawings to go with random meme ideas I fed into the website 15.ai. I think it turned out really nice, but I'm still new to this, so sorry if the edits or transitions are too noticeable.
Funny enough, while I was working on this, I hit 100 subs, so I guess this project can count as a 100 sub special of sorts! And a 4th of July special, too! (Somehow? Just imagine Stanley is holding a red, white, or blue sparkler I guess.)

Hey guys! This is by far my most popular video and I'm so grateful for all the support on it; I'm still getting comments on it almost every day from new viewers, and that's so crazy to me.
BUT since this is still getting so much attention (and has apparently still being carried by the almighty algorithm) I think I should clarify that recently Kevan Brighting (original VA) has made it very clear that he disapproves of AI voice-generators used to mimic him. He didn't call out creators or ask them to stop, just expressed his distaste for the concept generally, but out of respect for his opinion on the issue I won't be making any more 15.ai videos.
I have two here on the channel, this one and a sequel, that I will leave up for you to enjoy, but I won't be making any others in the future. I hope that's a fair compromise for both Mr. Brighting's wishes and for the people who love these videos and have supported me so much in making them.
While I'm sure some of you are disappointed that there won't be more videos like this in the future, I can assure you there will be no shortage of Stanley Parable art or chaotic meme videos on the channel. So if you're interested, I hope you still stick around!

It killed me with how casually The Narrator said "Stanley, no." at the beginning. I love how pretty much every other quote fits The Narrator absolutely perfectly.
Yeah I love the delivery on that bit lol. I actually had 2 more versions of "Stanley, no!" where he actually sounded concerned, but I _had_ to use the extremely casual and almost-sarcastic "nooo" version because it was too funny

Missed opportunity of having the narrator say:
"This is a bucket."
"No.."

"Dear God."
I actually have an audio clip of Narrator saying that because I _was_ going to use it lol. But Stanley doesn't speak in any other clip so I couldn't decide if he should stay mute (so... the joke is lost) or the original audio or another TTS voice, so I just left it out for simplicity's sake

Tbh I understand both dynamics but whenever I play the game I feel like their relationship is so unique that I've just decided to refer to it as a Stanley/Narrator-relationship now
What's funny is that if you'll ask Kevan Brighting to read all of this himself, he'll probably do it.
I mean, he is a voice actor who deserves to be paid for his work, and I'm broke, otherwise I'd ask lol

Stanley and the Settings Person banded together to create and use a new language filter that turned everything Narrator says into complete nonsense, destroying his ability to form coherent words.
This is what happened here, you cannot tell me otherwise.

Honestly I can believe the settings person gas the power to screw with Narrator's programming, he knows how to gib achievement so he must be powerful

I mean, the Narrator has never had any trouble conjuring doors out of thin air before - he made the entire hekkin Memory Zone and the baby game for crying out loud, so it's not like he's not allowed to mess with the game files. He even MADE the Skip Button and the room it's in, so why does he suddenly not have the ability to leave the room, or delete the button, or force reset the game like he does in the Confusion Ending? An OUTSIDE force preventing him is really the only explanation.
Why do I love the rivalry that's slowly developing in the lore between Narrator and Settings Person. This is so interesting to have a third party (well I mean we have the Curator, but she's weirdly apathetic towards Stanley and the Narrator's existence)

Especially with the whole dialogue after getting the test achievement, where Narrator gets confused then panics on the fact that there might be someone else here. He never knew of the Settings Person's existence until that point, and even then he doesn't know who they are. Nor does he dare to question it further in any other ending.
I also like to believe that they (S.P.) are responsible for the events of the Confusion ending. They are the ones that 'miss-placed' the story, when in all reality they just snatched it away from Narrator when he wasn't looking and even made the ending schedule.
The Narrator is limited to the endings, while the Settings Person exists outside of them, like they are in both the beginning of the game and the Epilogue :]

@@shadowsoftheinfinite The Narrator saying "Is someone here? Are we being watched?" and then "Breathe... just breathe." fills me with the most inexplicable dread. It's like... dang, even this psuedo-godlike being is frightened, should I be scared??
And IKR? I read way too deep into everything I enjoy, but with the addition of the Ultra Deluxe stuff, I think Stanley Parable ACTUALLY has some pretty deep lore implications - but the fact that it's both a meta commentary (usually comedic) and paradoxical kind of spooks people away from trying to "solve" it, because you really can't. I _want_ to "solve" it and understand it and know everything about it... but at the same time I know that if you could "solve" the Stanley Parable, it would cease to be - you'd be destroying part of what makes it so interesting. Kind of like wanting to jump into the perfect smooth white snow, but knowing your footprints will ruin what made it so beautiful in the first place.
Not saying we should stop theorizing and having our own headcanons - I'm just saying I'm really glad the creators have been really vague with the lore that exists. Them being cryptic means we get to have more fun.

Thank you! Yeah, there are tons of fans (of course, it's a great game) but a very very small "fandom". It's kind of weird, but also understandable because the characters/story are so ambiguous. That's what I was referencing, but the point of the video was making 15.ai say silly things, not using game audio. Also I was quoting the FNAF Security Breach meme that was floating around a few months ago, so it was an intentional choice of words.
I might possibly make a version using the game audio later - especially because it's so darn funny when you walk away from the vent and Narrator says, "well you're a dork anyways!" Lol
