It would literally take over the market if they were to implement an AI enhancing technology that upgrades old games into looking better for the current console generation.
As I have mentioned to Commonwealth Realm, Nintendo has created the Triforces of the Nintendo Switch 2 platform-- Nintendo, NVIDIA, and Samsung. The Switch 2 is gonna be one sexy beast this year and beyond.
Mannnn, the more I hear about this console the more I want the reveal to come sooner. I’m sure it’s this month but when is a tough question. I want to see all the new games running on Switch 2 with DLSS in the trailer just like how we got a sneak peak for Odyssey for the Switch. I’m so excited for the trailer, it’s only a matter of when
I love how Nintendo can get what they need with the tech they will custom make for their new system. That’s proof power means nothing in the business. They make key improvements that are smart to make the experience better. That’s all you really need not unrealistic graphic expectations and a big powerful system that can’t even have a nice amount of gig space (like PS5).
But Player. I heard this on RUclips that the switch 2 will be as powerful as a standard ps4 console in handheld mode and as powerful as a ps4 pro console in dock mode. The switch 2 is the switch pro console everyone has been waiting for since 2021.
@ThinkTinkh It's all about the retail stores price tag for the switch 2 console. If the switch 2 retail stores price is $500 dollars or more. I could see the switch 2 is more powerful than a ps4 pro console. But if the switch 2 retail stores price is $399.99 dollars 💸. The switch 2 power will be between a standard ps4 console or a ps4 pro console.
If Nintendo has Switch 1 games run on Switch 2 with the full clock speeds and full GPU power of Switch 2 enabled then Switch 1 games would automatically run better even if Nintendo doesn't patch the games. Games that usually had a frame rate target of 30FPS but constantly dropped below that would then be locked at 30FPS for a consistent smooth gameplay, same goes for games that targeted 60FPS but often dropped below that. Also games that had a dynamic resolution would always stay at the top resolution no matter how hectic the action becomes on screen. The real question I'm wondering is will Switch 2 automatically upscale Switch 1 games to 4K with DLSS right out of the box. I could see that happening since it would be easier upscaling a image, but to have old games run at 60FPS would probably require a patch download.
Dlss is incredible I did a benchmark on my computer with my 3060 graphics card I got 20 frames per second on easy bench on Steam and when I turned on dlss I got 80 frames per second at 4k
I really can't wait for this new console. It's at least going to make it a little better with the frame rates and gameplay for Mortal Kombat 1 and street fighter 6. And I don't expect a soul Calibur game to go on the switch 2 but I'll definitely wait for super smash bros.
I agree the file size of a game got out of control. Take Mortal Kombat for example it took and extra 20GB in order to play the game. When the Switch 2 there needs to be at least a 2TB micro SD card.
With how long development is taking this generation, im expecting some third party exclusives for switch 2 since it will be quicker to develop for(maybe?). But the ps6 generation will be so deprived of games its gonna be pathetic. Thats likely why Nintendo has held back for so long, to make sure theres games ready for the first few years
Honestly, could it be that nintendo will give free Switch 2 patches for their first party games to NSO Expansion Pack users and otherwise ask for money?
Sorry to be that guy but games these days don't really go on CDs anymore. You're going to have to download them 99% of the time. Now if you said download speeds would be slower on an SD card vs SSD than that's a different argument. Most of their games come with the game pre Install on the cartridge to begin with.
Thanks for sharing such valuable information! I need some advice: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
Hmm if Nin doesn't care & take down these leaks then I assume they are not working on Switch 2 but a mid refresh system to continue current Switch 1 market at bringing newer games. They do that & they wouldn't have to restart sales numbers & would continue its longer sales opreations.
DLSS is great, but at the same time people have to temper expectations. I think OJ has been doing a huge disservice lately with this. The chip design for this system is dated. The 8nm design pretty much confirms that. The frame gen technology is a much more recent architecture by nvidia. This will likely resemble what you get from the 2000 series cards, and at BEST the 3000 series. However, those cards on desktop that see meaningful improvements (and we’re talking 5-15 fps) do so with much more power than this is going to have. That’s not even noting all the games that have had frame rate issues in spite of DLSS being present. People really need to look at the current PC handhelds on the market, and set expectations close to that. Which, to be fair, is still a really good thing. But it’s not going to be groundbreaking the way that this and others have suggested.
It won't come CLOSE to the top 40% of graphics on current PC handhelds those are as fast as dedicated gaming laptops. What you should say is that you cm expect steam deck power but with added optomizations and features.
@ I mostly agree with this. The Steam Deck community does allow optimizations if you know how to use them as well. I think the best case for the Switch 2 is to be between the Steam Deck and ROG Ally with no tinkering necessary. That’s also not too significant of a delta between systems either, especially considering that FSSR is expected to be native on the Steam Deck within the next 1-2 years for most games. I think Nintendo should have released the console sooner, because now people are going to expect more than it can produce, even if it is a good system.
@@ocoom8328 Doing so it becomes a double edged sword. Quality comes first and you know it. Never rush on a system that will turn forever bad without the benefit of intellect.
@@TonyKanameKuran Nintendo had the ability to release this before, and they took the OLED right instead. If they don't then I won't be buying it. I have so far all their Asian copies physical with everything on the cartridge so they would need to continue that. The switch 2 also needs to have frame gen, and nvidia reflex, it needs to take full advantage of the features from nvidias modern hardware. One thing about witch 2 is it needs to support 1440p and 4k in doc mode, 1080p is just a dated resolution and its just very blurry, 1440p is a huge difference once you actually see it, Also they don't need to upgrade the visuals for swtich ones games, the games need to run 60FPS, thats the problem I have.
