Ven, I think I have some helpful tips for your struggles against Guardian druid. 1.) Pre-pot the go 2.) Ensure you are flasked up/buffed up before pulling the boss 3.) Use a countdown timer before pulling the boss, it looks like the rogue is just opening on the druid without one 4.) Ensure you have food buff before the pull 5.) Lust on pull will help you get the boss down quicker. Hopefully these help!
Its cause they dont want bdk to be meta again right away after s3-s4, and the same they want to make bear meta since they havent shined since s1. They always do this to make sure the meta isnt stagnant.

I think theres a place for tanks, just make them squishier and make them have more ccs. Would be cool to use taunt in pvp to make people attack you as a cc

There are a lot of retards in the game now who think they're better than they are but don't realize how sweaty the old generation of players were. These guys are all hardstuck 1500, absolutely trying their asses off.
It's absolutely the most broken thing in this game, but assuming it doesnt get nerfed soon enough, just know that rage of the sleeper is a 10 second long cooldown every minute. It reflects unlimited times per individual hit (unlike thorns which has an internal cooldown and requires an active direct opponent gcd or auto per reflect), can do wacky stuff like instantly kill a feral for putting feral frenzy up at the wrong time, or kill fury warrior basically whenever. You pretty much HAVE to stop attacking at that time, or alter it in this case maybe, or whatever, but it's definitely a catch-22 since the second you let up he gets frenzy and instant regrowths back
Good advice, you wanna not hit a guardian during rage and barkskin (brambles buff) but the only time a guardian has instant regrowths is when Dream of Cenarius procs. This can only happen every 20 seconds and is triggered by getting hit by non periodic damage, so if you don't hit him, no instant regrowths during that time. I'm glad that blizz is making tanks viable in pvp, obviously guardian needs some tuning but there's no reason an entire role should be gimped in pvp.

Rage of the Sleeper "Prevents 25% of all damage you take, increasing 15% damage done, grants you 25% leech, and reflects 5k nature damage back to the attacker". That is where a lot of that "damage from nowhere" is coming from (yourself). It only lasts 10 seconds, so if he's doing all of that damage to you with that ability, which is on a 1 minute cooldown, you guys are pumping the fuck out of him whenever he's using his CDs. He's literally just saying "no u" to you bursts, because you're not paying attention to what CDs he has. That said, he has a bunch of other Mitigation CDs that don't help you either. The only way to really kill a GD in an Arena is team makeup. Stuns, polymorphs, crowd control. Basically a stream of abilities that take control out of their hands while you or someone else bursts. This is incredibly difficult to pull off when you're in 2's, which is exactly what he's there. A GD in arena being strong is not going to result in any nerfs, because it's an uncommon situation that can be addressed with specific teams. Mages aren't it. Just gotta take the L in that matchup and move on.

Outskilled by the Bear! In all fairness Bears should win every 1v2 which is balanced. Two Dps should never be able to kill a Tank. It should take 3-4 Dps to kill a Tank solo.
In open world as a guardian druid sometimes it takes 3 ppl to kill me depending on the class, an 1x1 is impossible to kill me. Last time i found a DK tank and we battled for almost 30min until another ally appeared and we killed the DK, couldnt escape him and he couldnt kill me lol
I'm not a R1 player or an AWC winner. Just a 2400 player. But I swear me and my dps partner did some skirmishes, and we could barely kill an ungeared guardian druid with 1500 exp. He literally did not cc, interrupt, or anything. My warlock, one of the tankiest and highest damage meter padding classes, is losing in dps to this unkillable mouthbreather. Dude is just doing 25k dps by not even playing. Literally it's some random passive effects that kill you, if you hit the druid. And on top of that, he is infinitely healing and never taking damage unless we burst into him with no defensives up.
Funny tough the druid is making some mistakes and you’re still struggling. He should use Barskin to reflect damage and break stealth from the rogue, algo he could switch forms to break any mobility cc and he could get the Roar talent and Typhon for more interrupts other than skull bash, then you’ll be in real trouble. I played against a prot warrior in a bg... I have pretty insane dmg in pvp (like the most single target I have seen) and I wasn't able to even come close to hurting him
I like this expac, but it feels like im playing on a bad private server. Ive never seen wow in this bad state before. Tanks are super overpowered! You run a dungeon/mythic and the tank is nr1 DPS. They do highest dmg, they have twice or tripple the health, they heal more than your healer, they take less damage. I hope they change this asap. Tanks should be tanks, hold aggro and take less damage. thats it.
I'm still leveling and did some normal dungeons on my disc priest today. In The Nokhud Offensive (first time) I missed how my teammates used their dragon and was confused how to get to them. However, the tank was a guardian druid and until I figured out how to get to them, he was tanking, top dpsing and healing the group by himself. They did two packs without me and I was like, ok and what exactly am I here for as a healer?
Need to not attack into 10 second Sleeper buff, that's all his damage. Similar to counterplaying Zarya in Overwatch. Don't attack the shield. Exactly like fighting a feral/restoration druid with thorns. Don't attack the thorns. When see sleeper buff (reflect damage), kite or CC. All other times attack to burn through his cooldowns. He will die. Besides sleeper he does no damage.
This is why people who say "Tanks shouldn't be in PVP " are completely wrong. There are no tanks in PVP. There's Healers, DPS, and then DPS who can't die.

Guardian needs further tuning. But there's no reason to nerf damage. The game needs tanks and if you pigeon hole an entire ROLE into "you only do pve dungeons/raids" ur going to continue to suffer from population problems. Every spec, every role should be tuned to be viable in all content. Guardians should absolutely be able to pvp, and not have shit damage, cuz that is no fun. If you understand how to fight them, you can kill them, even now. #1 is dont attack into rage of the sleeper.

have noticed many tank specs are off the rockers right now. prot warrior literally cant be killed and does the most damage in dungeons in the first week and stuff like that
The best part is thanks to the modern class design of a thousand needles instead of punching one another, his thorns damage is actually better. The better solution to this is not to nerf it, it's to change the way damage is dealt. You hit yourself 3 times with flurry. You hit yourself 6 times if you ice lance with 5 icicles. The damage he does is fixed per-hit damage. If you weren't having to hit him 9,000 times to kill him, the thorns style damage wouldn't hurt as much. It should also only be direct damage spells so dot classes shouldn't suffer as much. Blizzard will never go back to having abilities deal damage, so the probably solution is to make it only deal damage ONCE per spellcast against the druid in PVP combat, rather than every time he takes direct damage. (This would reduce it from 6 hits for ice lance with icicles to once, and from 3 times with flurry to once, for each tick of blizzard to once, for each tick of frozen orb to once.) Either that or make it so it doesn't function in stuns or make it so it's dispellable.
It seems the community hates druids. Any buff to druid in wow history was very short lived while mages and rouges always king of PvP class. The ladder over the years and the wow cups proves it.

This comp should have zero issues vs this. You're telling me a rogue/mage couldn't manage to cc during the one ability. It takes 2 seconds to create a weak aura that tells you when it's happening effectively making it useless. The ability is just a reskinned old school karma.
I recently killed myself like that on my arcane. Pumped all I had on him. Druid was running around, didn't even touch me. My HP disappeared and he got more of it then before even though a few people was on him :d
Disclaimer - I really like you and your channel and you are obviously very very skilled and successful in PvP. However, 😅 Mage/Rogue has been a Rank 1 viable comp in arena since the inception of PvP in WoW, so I don’t understand the logic of asking for tanks to be nerfed, when only a very small set of niche players bring tanks into the Arena. Also, just don’t attack into sleeper and you automatically win.
Rage of the sleeper has 1 min cd and 10 sec duration. Barkskin has 1 min cd and 8 sec. As long a you don't do damage with in those windows you can significantly redjuse the turns damage.
You said that it’s a 1 vs 2 cuz the evoked dies every time. Now don’t imagine it’s a good evoked who gets oneshot every game. Imagine it’s a second guardian Druid. Btw can you share his talent loadout just for research purposes of course.
He's not a tank there are no tanks in pvp, he's a dps according to blizzard. That's why he tops the damage, and I guess he can pass as a healer too... because he also does as much damage as healing. Starting to think Blizzard employees play Guardian Druid dps, and Prot Pally Healer in arenas.

Personally I like watching mage rogue get shit on. By literally anything.

have noticed many tank specs are off the rockers right now. prot warrior literally cant be killed and does the most damage in dungeons in the first week and stuff like that

The best part is thanks to the modern class design of a thousand needles instead of punching one another, his thorns damage is actually better.
The better solution to this is not to nerf it, it's to change the way damage is dealt. You hit yourself 3 times with flurry. You hit yourself 6 times if you ice lance with 5 icicles. The damage he does is fixed per-hit damage. If you weren't having to hit him 9,000 times to kill him, the thorns style damage wouldn't hurt as much. It should also only be direct damage spells so dot classes shouldn't suffer as much.
Blizzard will never go back to having abilities deal damage, so the probably solution is to make it only deal damage ONCE per spellcast against the druid in PVP combat, rather than every time he takes direct damage. (This would reduce it from 6 hits for ice lance with icicles to once, and from 3 times with flurry to once, for each tick of blizzard to once, for each tick of frozen orb to once.) Either that or make it so it doesn't function in stuns or make it so it's dispellable.
It seems the community hates druids. Any buff to druid in wow history was very short lived while mages and rouges always king of PvP class. The ladder over the years and the wow cups proves it.

This comp should have zero issues vs this. You're telling me a rogue/mage couldn't manage to cc during the one ability. It takes 2 seconds to create a weak aura that tells you when it's happening effectively making it useless. The ability is just a reskinned old school karma.

I recently killed myself like that on my arcane. Pumped all I had on him. Druid was running around, didn't even touch me. My HP disappeared and he got more of it then before even though a few people was on him :d

Disclaimer - I really like you and your channel and you are obviously very very skilled and successful in PvP. However, 😅 Mage/Rogue has been a Rank 1 viable comp in arena since the inception of PvP in WoW, so I don’t understand the logic of asking for tanks to be nerfed, when only a very small set of niche players bring tanks into the Arena. Also, just don’t attack into sleeper and you automatically win.
Frost mage can’t kill shit in the best circumstances this was a fools errand.
Rage of the sleeper has 1 min cd and 10 sec duration. Barkskin has 1 min cd and 8 sec. As long a you don't do damage with in those windows you can significantly redjuse the turns damage.

He's not a tank there are no tanks in pvp, he's a dps according to blizzard. That's why he tops the damage, and I guess he can pass as a healer too... because he also does as much damage as healing. Starting to think Blizzard employees play Guardian Druid dps, and Prot Pally Healer in arenas.
I just finished a bg and logged off because there was a guardian druid that was obviously broken, hop on RUclips and first video I see is this. Glad for the confirmation

Rage of the sleeper being almost his highest dmg is the equivalent for putting ur entire burst into a counterstrike totem window or going full ham into a warlock reflect. yes obv ur gonna take a lot of dmg if u hit the reflect. i dont like this "this is op and ill make a video out of this so ill play braindead so it looks even stronger" mentality.
