4:34 Why? WHY do so many people accelerate as they exit that corner rather than after they've fully exited it. The same happens in racing sims like GT and Assetto Corsa.
This course is so amazingly tricky. I've spent YEARS in Gran Turismo 6 and still have yet to master it in simulation, let alone the real deal. Some of the turns come up on you in strange ways, the Green Hell is a terrifying track to conquer. The crowning of the road in some sections is a foot or more difference from the edge. One must learn not only every turn, but how each area of road is slightly different from the last. All in all, this is the track that makes great drives, IMO. It is a combination of tricky corners, varying asphalt conditions, different crowning conditions, and endurance due to the length. Good luck to my fellow drivers if you ever plan to tackle this beast.
Probably because e36 is a cheap, relatively quick RWD car. I assume its pretty common, particularly in germany. Doesnt hurt so much when you crash it if its worth a thousand bucks.
Aye, it's cheap, and even i, as an avid Mercedes Fan, have to admit it's quite a reliable and good car. Remember, BMW can build the cars, but they can't chose the drivers. We (in germany) have so many safety and security regulations, strict norms a car has to fulfill, that you can be quite sure, im 99/100 cases, an accident is the driver's fault, not the car's one.
That one low-speed turn must have had some oil or coolant spilled on it. Never seen so many low-speed spins and motorcycle wipeouts. Very slick surface there!
88jord88 Yes, because every single car that's ever been on the Nurburgring is German and driven by a German. There's no possible way that anyone could bring a car from somewhere like the UK to race it around the track. Oh wait.
rallyeoberehe you know what rallyeoberehe? your right, it probably was a man but there was obviously a lady in the car, thats probably why they crashed was because she was giving directions ;)
That and I would imagine most people aren't on the ring too much, so they're not used to all that rubber on a purpose built track. Then again, I'm American, what do I know?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think it could be due to the elevation change and speed, the dampers will unload at the top of the hill, causing the rear to become very 'light weight/floaty' feeling and with that, the wheels will spin easily and loose control... You enter that that particular Corner after a high-speed passage and it's a nasty combination of going right and uphill at the same time. So you lose grip at the right back wheel which results in understeering and a vioelent turning of the car
You can really tell tell the difference from the noobs and pros at the craches, the noobs always break out the rear and then drive the front into the wall while the pros always try to countersteer to prevent damaging their car.

7:53 driver is like "why is this fence in front of me? I better use the horn to scare it" (Uses horn, fence goes away). Car rotates "omg, another fence right in my path. Worry not, I will scare it like I did with the other one" (uses horn again, this fence is a badass, doesn't budge)
0:42 Braking is why he crashed.. I probably could have made this mistake myself, things happen in split seconds and you have little time to think. Good thing the car can be fixed.
I think the problem here seems to be modern FWD hot hatches just give the driver too much confidence in the corners. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing in general though.
If you drive here and you crash. We'll you just have to accept that! How many laps do you get? If more than one, we'll the corners are the same each time around!
It seems that so often, if they would just take their foot off the brakes and steer, they could regain control. Also, if you're trying to drift, know your own limitations. Anticipate, catch it before it gets much out of line, and get the opposite lock off the instant it straightens up. ( Yea, I know it's easy to criticise from my armchair, but some of them just become passengers at the worst moment)
I'm not an expert and I'm stonish and curious to know why A LOT of cars lost control at the same place, like this Porsche at 5:02 !?? Somebody can explain this ??
They should have had someone waving a caution flag before that corner with the oil spill on it... too many cars and a few bikes got banged because of that. It should have been coned off for the day and cleaned up. The guy with the camera should have been helping, instead of getting crash clip after crash clip. So thankful it was a slow corner!

There's an uphill right that features in quite a few incidents (2:18 for instance). including bikes.
What's tricky about that corner - oil, maybe?

I love watching people take their car to the track thinking they can drive and know how to “handle” a car only to destroy it because they have no idea how to. So satisfying, people getting punished for stupidity mm
Das wird sich nie ändern , oder?!? Die Videos aus den 80ern sehen genauso aus🤣⭐️🤣
Thank god for the white balloons that pop up when the new cars crash - I've heard they make accidents more fun.
Green hell ? Well, I'd rather say wrecked cars dealers' green paradise.
At 2:17, where the BMW 1(?) crashed, does anyone know the name of that turn or section? I've noticed a lot of crashes at that turn/section.
Body shops must love these guys!
2:53 that corner should be sponsored by a manufacturer of headlights
0:42 Braking is why he crashed.. I probably could have made this mistake myself, things happen in split seconds and you have little time to think. Good thing the car can be fixed.
I think the problem here seems to be modern FWD hot hatches just give the driver too much confidence in the corners. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing in general though.
Huge fan of the lads thinking they're Vettel who rock up in their midweek runabout and end up binning it.
Mükemmel kazalar hazin sonlar arabalara içim parçalandı :((
They should have had someone waving a caution flag before that corner with the oil spill on it... too many cars and a few bikes got banged because of that. It should have been coned off for the day and cleaned up. The guy with the camera should have been helping, instead of getting crash clip after crash clip. So thankful it was a slow corner!
How much are shares in the Nurburgring crash repair shop?
If this was a Fast & Furious movie, none of these cars would have suffered more than small scratches in the paint.
the renault at 3:30 just bounced off the wall not even a scratch
