@@simonhewkin8418 That's because Monster Jam isn't a real sport. It's a show with drivers doing a bunch of extreme freestyle stunts with kids as judges. Feld Entertainment is the parent organization of Monster Jam seems to own around 80% of the trucks that run in their shows including Gravedigger. In fact many of the trucks that are owned by Feld are essentially exactly alike just with different body shells.
@@simonhewkin8418 I watch the Penda Points Series more than anything Monster Jam. I attended my first Monster Jam event since 2017 which my daughter surprised me with a early Father's Day gift back then and last month. Of course she doesn't know my distaste for Monster Jam cause when my girls were younger I would always take them and their friends to shows. I can honestly say that the show we all attended last month my daughters and granddaughters definitely enjoyed the show more than me. I really want to see the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live shows really start to step it up cause they really do have a good idea and concept going on and they have a lot of good potential.
Top 3 for me, Andy Brass, Gene Patterson and Dan Runte. I grew up watching the PENDA series as a kid. My mom used to record the races. Power Wheels Bigfoot was my favorite truck only because I had an actual Power Wheels Bigfoot.
Andy, Dan, Meagher and Tack. Meagher won the Penda Points series in 97 over Runty and also won the USA Motorsports Championship in 98 Driving #15.Tack later took over driving #15 and was able to become a champion over Runte in 2000 on the ProMT series.
This season was my first time getting to see the new BF#14 . I was impressed and liked the changes from #10 & 11. Seems like every year Bigfoot was trying new things with the trucks designs.
Runte and Brass were freaking unstoppable! Love the Penda years and miss them so much. What was the average top speed on the big end for those Penda style drag courses?
The more I watch the 93 & 94 era I really need to get my r/c versions of #10,11 & 14 completed. Along with the other various Bigfoot projects that have have under construction. Have like 6 and a possible 7th projects that are underway and I really need to get serious about getting them finished.
I'd like to see some behind the scenes footage of the testing of #14. Especially since it was the 1st of the Bigfoot trucks to not utilize the cantilever in the rear. I'm sure that there's still tons of footage in the Bigfoot vault.
Ford should have never ended their sponsorship and relationship with Team Bigfoot! Bigfoot represented their brand proudly and very well. Unlike the Blue Thunder truck. When Ford would update their truck bodies I always looked forward to seeing them on the Bigfoot chassis's.
Don't forget about Eric Meagher being a part of Team Bigfoot also by driving Snake Bite (Bigfoot #10) which finished third that season behind Brass and Runte.
Is it just me, or do trucks from this era seem the fastest? Maybe it just the older lower quality footage, but it seems like trucks from the PENDA era ran the fastest, I would like to see how they would compare in a straight up drag race to modern Monster Trucks of today.
Nathan McDonald I think another factor could the the use of the modern trucks. It’s not real racing and crashing on purpose. That Doesn’t require proper outright speed
They were lighter than the trucks today and the tires were cut with eliminated more weight. Also they were set up specifically for racing instead of all around these days. So really they probably were faster.
@@BobAround Makes sense, If I remember correctly Bigfoot #9 was around 9000lbs which made it light really light, even for its day it was around 1000lbs lighter than most others. They still cut the tires though don't they?
1994-1995 was peak monster truck racing. Ford Bigfoot and Dodge made some mean machines.
The mid-90s were awesome for M/T racing. I was active duty in the Navy, so I missed out on much of the action of this era. Thanks for posting.
The Penda Series was incredible. I hope that the Hot Wheels Live tour will look into doing something similar to Penda.
Bigfoot Power Wheels had such a great paint job.
Definitely one of my favorites.
Undeniable, but the wildfoot is my favorite
Really wished this series had stayed around.
still like this more then the monster jam series

I totally agree, I'm not really a big fan of Monster Jam. Hoping to attend my first Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live this year.

Who knows? Maybe down the line someone may come back with the idea PENDA was the greatest MT series ever .Pro MT had side by side drags for a while.
Reliving my childhood. I remember watching some of these races. Always loved Bigfoot
People say it doesnt exist. I tell them I've seen Bigfoot my entire life. 🇺🇸🤗✌🏻✌🏻
silver watcher There’s only one real Bigfoot.👍

Loved this era!! Thanks for sharing!
Great Recap video. The ,MotorCity,Detroit, Michigan Loves Bigfoot!!! G
Love these highlights of the Penda series! Keep these coming!
The Snake is Sneakier than the Foot, that was hilarious how he played the light!

SPOILER ALERT: Snakebite is actually a Bigfoot truck 🤯
I didn't learn that till the mid 2000's
I knew that once I first saw it. Glad they came out wirh Snakebite, a good addition to the Bigfoot team.
@@waynenorbreyjr9371 Same here. The first Snake Bite was Bigfoot 4 driven by Gene Patterson.
1:51 music from monster truck bloopers 2/ lots and lots of monster trucks

Id say somewhere between 45-60 mph, cant really pinpoint it. But definitely faster than most monster truck racing nowadays.
Around 60mph!!!

Team bigfoot sure is rockin the hell out of those SWEEEEEET MULLETS!!!
Those trucks were so perfect in every way. Last of the good looking Bigfoot trucks, IMO.
Yeeeeaaaaa. Love it man.
You really can't get more 90s than this lol
Colt Cobra still makes me laugh. Pro "wrestling" on 4 wheels.
The Blue Oval Bunch, 👍

1994 was the best season of Penda, Runte and Brass battle until the last race. Shame Andy left Bigfoot after this season.
Don't forget about Eric Meagher being a part of Team Bigfoot also by driving Snake Bite (Bigfoot #10) which finished third that season behind Brass and Runte.

Exactly, Snakebite was a strong contender through the years of the Penda series.
Love these videos!
Long Live Bigfoot

Andy Brass reminds me of a Leprechaun
Real Mt racing monster jam is a joke
I agree 100%
