Assalam Alaykum. May Allah SWT bless you both for this. How amazing to have ex Christians talking for almost one and a half hours about a single verse of the Qur'an with such in depth analysis and appreciation!!
Thank you for highlighting the Spiritual, Social, Charactor n the Principle part of Prophet Muhammad's Leadership, it will help West to understand the true character n principles of Holy Prophets n Islam
Just Beautiful…….we ask peace and blessings upon Muhammad and on his family, wives, companions, the followers, on those that came after them and the general people, until the Day of Judgement.
There is a book titled "The leadership of Muhammad" written by John Adair, who is a British leadership theorist. I wish you could host him some day Paul.
I know you both are brothers in faith but here you both look like brothers even by appearance and the background with books as well is eerily similar :)

8:51 ! 🤩 wow .. professor presented a brand new proof of prophethood ! This verse which he shared actually gives a historical verification ! And asserts that indeed prophet Muhammad led like that and no one objected to it ! (So it proves quranic narrative is true and prophet Muhammad was indeed a prophet)
We know from The Quran - “ There are two highways.” And we also know from there - “ The straight way and open way . “ See , only few verses of The Quran discussed here bear so much meaning. The unbelievers of the people of the book fail totally to interpret a single verse of The Quran in a meaningful way. Dr. Fatoohi is extraordinary as he follows The Straight Way and able to mount the meaning of the verses of The Quran here and in previous program hosted by Paul Williams of Blogging Theology . It’s a beautiful program . God bless Paul Williams . God bless Louay Fatoohi . Thank you.
I think this verse [my own interpretation] could enhance this discussion, Quran Chp3 Verse 146:And how many a prophet [fought and] with him fought many religious scholars [none, but Prophet Muhammad and Scholars among His companions]. So they never lost assurance due to what afflicted them in the cause of Allah, nor did they weaken or submit. And Allah loves the steadfast.
Joel Hayward would have been the most appropriate guest for this segment. After all, he did write an entire book on this topic and is many people’s favourite on Blogging Theology.
I think the most touching of stories about the prophet Muhammad happened after the battle of Hunayn. This is excerpts from from a lecture by Yasir Qadhi. The story is well known. According to Islamic law -and the rules of ghanima[spoils of war] are relatively complicated- it's said this type of ghanima that is left behind, it's up to the ruler to decide what to do with it [see also: episode 53]. So the ghanima of someone who has been killed has its own rulings, and the ghanima left behind in the camps has separate rulings. And the tens of millions left behind that are now in Ji'ranah are of the latter type. So the soldiers do not have any guaranteed share of it, and it's up to the Prophet PBUH to decide. And what did he do? He began to give the largest gifts that had ever been seen in Islam to specific people. One by one by name, choosing them. Ibn Ishaq lists up to a dozen people, most of whom were from the Quraysh, including Abu Sufyan ibn Harb: The Prophet PBUH gave him 100 camels at a time when most of the people of Makkah didn't even have a single camel. And having a single camel is a huge deal - it means you are upper middle class. Yet the Prophet PBUH gave Abu Sufyan 100 camels, which is a fortune. And he gave Safwan ibn Umayyah -the one who's still not a Muslim and has a four-month grace period- 100 camels as well. From the tribe of Ghatafan, Uyaynah ibn Hisn, who was one of the coarse Bedouins but has a massive tribe behind him, got 100 camels as well. From the tribe of Tamim up in Najd, al-Aqra' ibn Habis (الأقرع بن حابس) got 100 camels as well. And so on and so forth. And he gave large gifts to Muawiyah the son of Abu Sufyan, and to the full brother of Abu Jahal, al-Harith ibn Hisham. So basically, many of the dignitaries of the Quraysh go back with fortunes. Perhaps up to 60-70 people were given massive fortunes. And all of the Muhajirun as well were given some of the shares (but not as big as 100 camels). The one group that was left completely untouched was the Ansar: ______________ The Status of the Ansar The one group that was left completely untouched was the Ansar[the Helpers] Not a single penny, out of the big share, was given to them. (Note: But out of the regular, smaller share, that is a different story). And human nature kicked in, so some of the younger sahaba of the Ansar began murmuring (the narrations clearly mention it was the younger ones). They say, "When there is war, we are told to come, but when there is booty and money, we are nowhere to be found." Another said, "May Allah forgive Rasulullah, he gives to the Quraysh and leaves us, even as our swords are still dripping with their blood." So it's human nature; money is money - you see people getting fortunes and you think they are enemies of Allah, and yet they go with the fortune but you are left with nothing - so the younger sahaba murmured. Until finally, Sa'd ibn Ubadah, the senior of the Ansar, kindly requests an audience with the Prophet PBUH to talk to the Ansar - and he hints there are problems within the group. The Prophet PBUH asks him, "Where do you find yourself?" Sa'd says, "I am one of my people." (Subhan'Allah, deep down inside, he also has that desire; he is a human - but he does not complain. He goes to the Prophet PBUH to solve the problem and not to complain. This shows us the Iman of Sa'd.) So the Prophet PBUH tells him, "Bring all of the Ansar, and make sure no one is in the tent except the Ansar." So they crammed until there was *no* space at all. And people are outside listening in from the Ansar. And the Prophet PBUH gave one of the most powerful moving lectures ever to the Ansar. Full of praise of the Ansar. One of the most powerful lectures in the seerah. He said, "If all of mankind were to go in one direction and the Ansar in another, I would go with the Ansar." And he said, "Were it not for the Hijrah, I would be from the Ansar." And then he said, "I give to some people because I fear for their greed and desires; and I don't give to others because I trust what Allah has given in their hearts (i.e., the fortune of Iman) is more than what I can give them." And he continued, "The Quraysh is still new to Islam, and I wish to comfort them by bringing them close to me." And he said, "O Allah, have mercy on the Ansar, and the children of the Ansar, and the children of the children of the Ansar." And he said at the end a line that shook them to their core, and the room began to cry until their beards were wet; he said, "Are you not happy that people go back with sheep and camels and goats, but you go back home with the Messenger of Allah?" So they began to cry so much and said, "We are content with Islam and you, ya Rasulullah!" And the Prophet PBUH calmed them down. This incident really shows us the status of the Ansar. The Prophet PBUH didn't give them a single penny: Why? Because what Allah had given them was more precious than money. And that is why there is a hadith, "Loving the Ansar is a part of Iman, and hating the Ansar is a sign of nifaq."
This one has more detail about the event: Those who benefited most from the distribution of booty were the Meccans and those who had recently entered Islam. Because of this there was some talk and grumbling among the Ansar. Some of them spoke, “Our blood has not yet dried on the swords of the Quraysh who fought against us, thirsting for our lifeblood and eager to destroy the religion of Islam. And although it was us who were stalwart in facing the worst dangers during the most difficult days, others are to reap the rewards of our efforts now that the days of leisure have come.” The Holy Prophet, the most enlightened soul in the entire universe, sensed their bitter complaints with his fine sense of mercy and compassion. He called to him one of the leaders of the Ansar, Sa’d bin ‘Ubada and asked him if it was true that such words were being bandied about among his companions. Sa’d answered, “Allah and His Prophet know best; none of the senior companions have said anything of what is reported. But I too have heard that among the younger folk some have fallen to the influence of the hypocrites, who indeed have voiced such feelings. I appeal to your clemency and intercession on their behalf, and would ask pardon for them.” The Prophet then ordered Sa’d bin ‘Ubada to call a meeting of the Ansar. When they had all assembled, the Holy Prophet gave a khutba of great eloquence in which he said, “Oh People of the Ansar! Is it not true that you were on the road of error before this time and that Allah made you reach to right guidance through my mediation? While you were engulfed in discord and strife and killing each other in lawless brigandry, did Allah Almighty not unite your hearts through my mediation? Did Allah in His Grace and Goodness not show you a road out of your hapless poverty, and lead you on the road I was honored to show you, into a life of prosperity and comfort? Have you not found contentment and felicity?” Oh Traveler on the Road to Truth! As the Holy Prophet delivered this speech, the Ansar fain would have swooned under its impact, and the tears flowed freely from their eyes. They replied, “Yea, oh our Prophet, it is from the Almighty’s eternal favor and thanks to the Holy Prophet’s intercession that all goodness has come to us.” The Holy Prophet then continued, “This is not the answer I expected from you. You ought to have said instead: ‘Oh Muhammad, we believed in you at a time when everyone else rejected you and called you a liar; we opened our arms for you and our hearts. When you were an outcast, and destitute, we gave you protection. You came to us as a poor man, and we looked after you and gave you our support.’ If that had been your speech, then you would have spoken truly and I would confirm all your words.” This address fell upon the hearts of the Ansar like fire, and each one of them sobbed aloud and shed many tears. The Holy. Prophet was moved with compassion and his eyes also brimmed with tears. A great silence fell upon the assembly. After a pause, the Prophet continued to address the gathering of Ansar. “Oh you people of the Ansar!” he began, “Other than you will carry off the sheep and goats and camels that we have given them. As for you, you will take back with you Muhammad, the Prophet of Allah to his home. Now I ask you, do you want me or is it sheep and goats that you wish for? What is better for you: to return to your hometown with me, or to return enriched in worldly goods and gain?” None of those assembled had the strength even to breathe when he had finished his speech. The young people who had been complaining shed tears of remorse, whereas those who burned with love for the Prophet wept for having caused pain to their beloved Prophet. When at last they spoke, their voices trembled, “Oh Rasulullah! Forgive us, for it is only yesterday that you saved us from the Days of Ignorance we were caught up in; forgive us, do not tax us for our failings. It is you we want, and all we desire.” The Holy Prophet then said, “Oh you of the Ansar! Know that if I were given the choice among the people, I would always choose the Ansar. For the Ansar are as the inner layer of my clothing, whereas all other folk are as my outer clothing. After my time is done, you will be overtaken by strife and discord, and exposed to the hurt of the sword. Until we meet again, be patient, don’t give up, and do not abandon the cause of Allah. For the sake of Allah and His Truth, you must be prepared to face all manner of hardship.” The Holy Prophet hereby indicated that among those referred to as the ‘mu’allif al-qulub’ there were such that would use religion as a means for pursuing their own political goals; who would, in the name and under the cover of religion perform every sort of cruelty. All of the Ansar called out with one voice, “We are well content with our Prophet!” and they wept copiously. They were very moved by the gracious words this great Prophet of the Lord spoke to them. The Holy Prophet then lifted his hands and made supplication for the Ansar and their families and descendants, and such was his du’a that it would have made even angels weep. From Sunnah
That is an excellent point about the leadership verse being a historical verification of the prophet SAW character. If that verse had not been true, the people of the time would have most definitely objected to the messages validity.
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was a messenger of God, sent to warn and guide the people to the straight path. As a final Prophet and the Seal of the Prophets, he was chosen to deliver God's final message to humanity, before the Prophet came, the world was in darkness of idol worshipping, corruption and polytheism. “This is a ˹sufficient˺ message for humanity so that they may take it as *a warning* and know that there *is only One God*, and so that people of reason may be mindful.” 14:52 “Do not worship except Allah. Indeed, I am to you from Him a warner and a bringer of good tidings” 2:11 “We have sent you [O Prophet] only as *a deliverer of good news and a warner* to all of humanity, but most people do not know.” 34:28 “You, [O Prophet], are not but a warner. Verily! We have sent you with the truth, a bearer of glad tidings, and a warner. And there never was a nation but a warner had passed among them.” 35:24-25 “So flee to God. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. And *do not make [as equal] with God another deity.* Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. Similarly, no messenger came to those before them without being told: “A magician or a madman!” 51:50-52 “Or do they say, "He invented it"? Rather, it is the truth from your Lord, [O Prophet], *that you may warn a people to whom no warner has come before you* perhaps they will be guided.” 32:3 “This Prophet is a warner like earlier ones.” 53:56 “Verily, this is an admonition: therefore whosoever will, let him take a Path to His Lord!” 73:19 “O People of the Book! Our Messenger has indeed come to you, making things clear to you after an interval between the messengers so you do not say, “There has never come to us a deliverer of good news or a warner.” Now there has come to you a deliverer of good news and a warner. And Allah is Most Capable of everything.” 3:19 There’s only One God, and He sent prophets to warn us of the Hour/Judgement Day: “Did you think that We had created you in play (without any purpose), and that you would not be brought back to Us? So Exalted be Allâh, the True King: the Lord of the Supreme Throne!” 23:115-116 “Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Most certainly, earlier and later generations, will surely be gathered ˹together˺ *for the appointed Day.”* 56:50 “God has written, "Verily, it is I and My Messengers who shall be the victorious. God is All-Powerful and All-Mighty” 59:21 “And surely, the Hour is coming, there is no doubt about it; and certainly, Allâh will resurrect those who are in the graves.” 22:7 “O mankind! Fear your Lord and be dutiful to Him! Verily, the earthquake of the Hour (of Judgement) is a terrible thing.” 22:1 “And on the Day that the *Hour* will be established, the criminals will swear that they stayed not but an hour - thus were they ever deluded” 30:55 “Indeed, this religion of yours is ˹only˺ one, and I am your Lord, so worship Me ˹alone˺.” 21:92 “Those will have lost who deny the *meeting with God* , until when the *Hour* comes upon them unexpectedly, they will say, "Alas for us that we gave no thought to it," while they will bear their burdens on their backs.”
Paul I really love your dedication to Allah. You have a great perspective as an Anglo Muslim. I have a request. Could you visit the Norwich Mosque, its in an old church and ie swwns to be a form of Islam that is relevant to the British . The Imsm is a revert of 50 years and it just feels do relevant to Britain. I
Jabir (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (ﷺ) said to me, "When the revenues of Bahrain will arrive, I shall give you such and such and such." He passed away before the revenues were received. When they arrive during the caliphate of Abu Bakr (May Allah be pleased with him), he ordered to be announced: "Anyone whom Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) promised or owed anything, should come to him." I went to him and said: "Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) had said to me such and such." He took a double handful out of the money and gave it to me. I counted it and found that it was five hundred dirham. Then Abu Bakr (May Allah be pleased with him) said to me: "Take twice as much more of that amount."
AssalamuAlaykum wrwb brother Paul! I was watching your video with Joram from a while ago, and had an idea that you could think about: I think we could have an entire series dedicated to the pre-modern relationships between European nations and Muslim Nations, the pre-colonial ones as well, from the Ottomans to the North African etc There have been many instances where some European nations had close ties with the Muslims, in trade as well as other forms of healthy alliances
As Salaam Alaikum Brother Paul. I really feel you need to bring the matter of fiqh to light. If leadership is an example of the Prophets SAWS piety then how did the majority of the Ummah show its Jahallia and hypocrisy of giving bait to the 1st 3 Caliphs who voted eachother in and ruled by the sword??
Abu Sufyan bin Al- Harith was holding the reins of his mule and when the pagans attacked him, he dismounted and started saying, 'I am the Prophet, and there is no lie about it; I am the son of `Abdul Muttalib.' On that day nobody was seen braver than the Prophet.
Merely an academic discussion. Important question to ask is how much we the Muslims of all sort and styles follow the prophet PBUH? If we had any understanding of Islam would we have killed his progeny?! Despite verse in holy book when prophet is asking for kindness to his family..?!!
"We" Muslims didn't kill them. Those who ordered, condoned and carried out the massacre were responsible for it, and they are facing their judgement in their graves. The rest of us live our lives and try to do our best and that's all that we can do. Obviously, we decry those killers in the strongest terms.
yes the Quranic verses & Ahadiths discussed related to moral characters of Prophet r true but Quran also says " عبس وتولى ان جاءه الاعمى" " he ( Prophet ) turned his eyes & ignored when a blind man came to him ( Prophet ) " # this verse antagonize the above verses & Ahadiths #
No This shows that mistakes like this is the worst mistakes that could come out of him He had such a high moral character and sincerity to recite verses like these to us
Can you show me where in the Qur’an it says that the prophet pbuh was perfect please? Because if it says best character and not perfect, you don’t have a point. Allah swt did correct the prophet pbuh multiple times through the Qur’an but this doesn’t take away the fact that he was best of characters. During his prophethood he developed into the best character. He was not perfect. Only Allah swt is perfect.
I am not asking for a fatwa, but just your opinion .... Many many European women are reverting to Islam. I am thrilled by this phenomenon. But many have adopted Niqab, full face covering and very loose entire body covering. My understanding is that Islam only requires a Hijab or covering of hair. Is Niqab a cultural attribute? Islam requires us to live life not in extremes but as normal working citizens. How will these reverts find jobs, find husbands, interact with society and live like ordinary citizens? Anecdotally it is said that 30% of converts go back to their previous religion because not able to receive social and financial support. They have left or were forced to leave family, friends and support systems. They are looking for Muslims to provide a new support system. Often money is a problem. Are we providing the needed support? Your opinion about this problem.
Is that protecting the Prophet True for all those companions you mentioned. Has there been no event in which they did not protect him? I hear something happened in Uhud but maybe you can research better and share.
@yassinzao9790 Yes, it is. There a lot of ehadith on this. Please consider following hadith, before accusing me of hate: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Some of my companions will come to me at my Lake Fount, and after I recognize them, they will then be taken away from me, whereupon I will say, 'My companions!' Then it will be said, 'You do not know what they innovated (new things) in the religion after you." (Al Bukhari)
Jesus is not coming back. There is nothing in the Quran where it is clearly stated. Tell me why would God send him back again. I think the ahadith were made up and put on the lips of the prophet Muhammad. They were lies. Period.
@@BenM61The Quran says: {And there is none of the people of the Book but must believe in Him before his death, and on the Day of Judgment He will be a witness against them.} (4: 159) Allah also says about Jesus in the Quran: {And he shall be a sign of the Hour. Therefore have no doubt about the Hour, but follow Me. That is the straight path.} (43: 61)
@@farhanmuhammed8116 That’s exactly what I meant when I said there is no clear statement in the Quran saying Jesus is coming back. The two verses you cited are not clear to say the least and are not definitive. It all depends on how one interprets the text. Here is the text of 4:61. 43:57 ۞ وَلَمَّا ضُرِبَ ٱبۡنُ مَرۡیَمَ مَثَلًا إِذَا قَوۡمُكَ مِنۡهُ یَصِدُّونَ ٥٧ 43:58 وَقَالُوۤا۟ ءَأَ ٰلِهَتُنَا خَیۡرٌ أَمۡ هُوَۚ مَا ضَرَبُوهُ لَكَ إِلَّا جَدَلَۢاۚ بَلۡ هُمۡ قَوۡمٌ خَصِمُونَ ٥٨ 43:59 إِنۡ هُوَ إِلَّا عَبۡدٌ أَنۡعَمۡنَا عَلَیۡهِ وَجَعَلۡنَـٰهُ مَثَلࣰا لِّبَنِیۤ إِسۡرَ ٰۤءِیلَ ٥٩ 43:60 *وَلَوۡ نَشَاۤءُ لَجَعَلۡنَا مِنكُم مَّلَـٰۤىِٕكَةࣰ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ یَخۡلُفُونَ* ٦٠ 43:61 وَإِنَّهُۥ لَعِلۡمࣱ لِّلسَّاعَةِ فَلَا تَمۡتَرُنَّ بِهَا وَٱتَّبِعُونِۚ هَـٰذَا صِرَ ٰطࣱ مُّسۡتَقِیمࣱ ٦١ 43:62 وَلَا یَصُدَّنَّكُمُ ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنُۖ إِنَّهُۥ لَكُمۡ عَدُوࣱّ مُّبِینࣱ ٦٢ 43:57 And when a description of the son of Marium is given, lo! your people raise a clamor thereat 43:58 And they say: Are our gods better, or is he? They do not set it forth to you save by way of disputation; nay, they are a contentious people 43:59 He was naught but a servant on whom We bestowed favor, and We made him an example for the children of Israel 43:60 And if We please, We could make among you angels to be successors in the land 43:61 And most surely it is a knowledge of the hour, therefore have no doubt about it and follow me: this is the right path 43:62 And let not the Shaitan prevent you; surely he is your open enemy. Translation by Shakir 43:61 It will be because of knowledge about the Hour. Do not puzzle over it and follow Me; this is a Straight Road. Translation by T B Irving To me that’s the correct way to translate the verse. Those words are spoken by Jesus and he can’t be talking about himself in the third person. It just wouldn’t make any sense. The pronoun ‘it’ and ‘hu’ in the word إنّه is about what preceding it and that is at the end of the world when every one dies and the angels are all the over the earth. That’s how I interpret the verse in question This is the other verse you cited. 4:156 And for their unbelief and for their having uttered against Marium a grievous calumny 4:157 And their saying: Surely we have killed the Messiah, Isa son of Marium, the messenger of Allah; and they did not kill him nor did they crucify him, but it appeared to them so (like Isa) and most surely those who differ therein are only in a doubt about it; they have no knowledge respecting it, but only follow a conjecture, and they killed him not for sure 4:158 Nay! Allah took him up to Himself; and Allah is Mighty, Wise 4:159 And there is not one of the followers of the Book but most certainly believes in this before his death, and on the day of resurrection he (Isa) shall be a witness against them Translation by Shakir That’s the correct reading of the verse in question. As you can see there is nothing about Jesus coming back. It is a matter of interpretation. You can force a reading on the text and make it say whatever you want but at the end of the day the correct reading should be the simplest one and not complicated by unreasonable interpretation. و اللّه أعلم

Masha'allah Brother Paul good efforts. Thank you
8:51 ! 🤩 wow .. professor presented a brand new proof of prophethood !
See , only few verses of The Quran discussed here bear so much meaning.
Thank you.
Jazaka Allahu khayran, brother!
35:45 ... ❤ about the mistakes ...
I loved this ❤
I think this verse [my own interpretation] could enhance this discussion,
Quran Chp3 Verse 146:And how many a prophet [fought and] with him fought many religious scholars [none, but Prophet Muhammad and Scholars among His companions]. So they never lost assurance due to what afflicted
them in the cause of Allah, nor did they weaken or submit. And Allah loves the steadfast.
Dr Louay is back finally yaay 😊Can't wait to watch! Thanks Paul!
The one group that was left completely untouched was the Ansar:
______________
The Status of the Ansar
The one group that was left completely untouched was the Ansar[the Helpers] Not a single penny, out of the big share, was given to them. This shows us the Iman of Sa'd.) So the Prophet PBUH tells him, "Bring all of the Ansar, and make sure no one is in the tent except the Ansar."
So they crammed until there was *no* space at all.

This one has more detail about the event:
Those who benefited most from the distribution of booty were the Meccans and those who had recently entered Islam.
Because of this there was some talk and grumbling among the Ansar. Some of them spoke, “Our blood has not yet dried on the swords of the Quraysh who fought against us, thirsting for our lifeblood and eager to destroy the religion of Islam. And although it was us who were stalwart in facing the worst dangers during the most difficult days, others are to reap the rewards of our efforts now that the days of leisure have come.”
The Holy Prophet, the most enlightened soul in the entire universe, sensed their bitter complaints with his fine sense of mercy and compassion. Have you not found contentment and felicity?”
Oh Traveler on the Road to Truth! You came to us as a poor man, and we looked after you and gave you our support.’ If that had been your speech, then you would have spoken truly and I would confirm all your words.”
This address fell upon the hearts of the Ansar like fire, and each one of them sobbed aloud and shed many tears. What is better for you: to return to your hometown with me, or to return enriched in worldly goods and gain?”
None of those assembled had the strength even to breathe when he had finished his speech. It is you we want, and all we desire.”
The Holy Prophet then said, “Oh you of the Ansar! For the sake of Allah and His Truth, you must be prepared to face all manner of hardship.”
The Holy Prophet hereby indicated that among those referred to as the ‘mu’allif al-qulub’ there were such that would use religion as a means for pursuing their own political goals; who would, in the name and under the cover of religion perform every sort of cruelty.

That is an excellent point about the leadership verse being a historical verification of the prophet SAW character. If that verse had not been true, the people of the time would have most definitely objected to the messages validity.
Amazing intelligent discussion. I am interested in doing a podcast with you
Jazaki Allahu khayran. Glad you liked it.
“This is a ˹sufficient˺ message for humanity so that they may take it as *a warning* and know that there *is only One God*, and so that people of reason may be mindful.” 14:52
“Do not worship except Allah. Indeed, I am to you from Him a warner and a bringer of good tidings” 2:11
“We have sent you [O Prophet] only as *a deliverer of good news and a warner* to all of humanity, but most people do not know.” 34:28
“You, [O Prophet], are not but a warner. Verily! We have sent you with the truth, a bearer of glad tidings, and a warner. And there never was a nation but a warner had passed among them.” 35:24-25
“So flee to God. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. And *do not make [as equal] with God another deity.* Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. Similarly, no messenger came to those before them without being told: “A magician or a madman!” 51:50-52
“Or do they say, "He invented it"? Rather, it is the truth from your Lord, [O Prophet], *that you may warn a people to whom no warner has come before you* perhaps they will be guided.” 32:3
“This Prophet is a warner like earlier ones.” 53:56
“Verily, this is an admonition: therefore whosoever will, let him take a Path to His Lord!” 73:19
“O People of the Book! Our Messenger has indeed come to you, making things clear to you after an interval between the messengers so you do not say, “There has never come to us a deliverer of good news or a warner.” Now there has come to you a deliverer of good news and a warner. And Allah is Most Capable of everything.” 3:19
There’s only One God, and He sent prophets to warn us of the Hour/Judgement Day:
“Did you think that We had created you in play (without any purpose), and that you would not be brought back to Us? So Exalted be Allâh, the True King: the Lord of the Supreme Throne!” 23:115-116
“Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Most certainly, earlier and later generations, will surely be gathered ˹together˺ *for the appointed Day.”* 56:50
“God has written, "Verily, it is I and My Messengers who shall be the victorious. God is All-Powerful and All-Mighty” 59:21
“And surely, the Hour is coming, there is no doubt about it; and certainly, Allâh will resurrect those who are in the graves.” 22:7
“O mankind! Fear your Lord and be dutiful to Him! Verily, the earthquake of the Hour (of Judgement) is a terrible thing.” 22:1
“And on the Day that the *Hour* will be established, the criminals will swear that they stayed not but an hour - thus were they ever deluded” 30:55
“Indeed, this religion of yours is ˹only˺ one, and I am your Lord, so worship Me ˹alone˺.” 21:92
“Those will have lost who deny the *meeting with God* , until when the *Hour* comes upon them unexpectedly, they will say, "Alas for us that we gave no thought to it," while they will bear their burdens on their backs.”

Jabir (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said to me, "When the revenues of Bahrain will arrive, I shall give you such and such and such." He passed away before the revenues were received.

I was watching your video with Joram from a while ago, and had an idea that you could think about: I think we could have an entire series dedicated to the pre-modern relationships between European nations and Muslim Nations, the pre-colonial ones as well, from the Ottomans to the North African etc
There have been many instances where some European nations had close ties with the Muslims, in trade as well as other forms of healthy alliances

Your guest looks like younger you

No
This shows that mistakes like this is the worst mistakes that could come out of him
He had such a high moral character and sincerity to recite verses like these to us
Can you show me where in the Qur’an it says that the prophet pbuh was perfect please?

I would not recommend having him. He denies the return of Prophet Isaa a.s. He is in bid'ah.
@yassinzao9790 Yes, it is. There a lot of ehadith on this.
Please consider following hadith, before accusing me of hate:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Some of my companions will come to me at my Lake Fount, and after I recognize them, they will then be taken away from me, whereupon I will say, 'My companions!' Then it will be said, 'You do not know what they innovated (new things) in the religion after you." (Al Bukhari)
Jesus is not coming back. There is nothing in the Quran where it is clearly stated. Tell me why would God send him back again. I think the ahadith were made up and put on the lips of the prophet Muhammad. They were lies. Period.
@@BenM61The Quran says: {And there is none of the people of the Book but must believe in Him before his death, and on the Day of Judgment He will be a witness against them.} (4: 159)
Allah also says about Jesus in the Quran: {And he shall be a sign of the Hour.

To me that’s the correct way to translate the verse.
That’s how I interpret the verse in question
This is the other verse you cited.

That’s the correct reading of the verse in question.
As you can see there is nothing about Jesus coming back. It is a matter of interpretation. You can force a reading on the text and make it say whatever you want but at the end of the day the correct reading should be the simplest one and not complicated by unreasonable interpretation. و اللّه أعلم
