Okay, giving my honest opinion here: I think this song has way to many dissonant notes, and though it fits the area, it could have been executed better. Catalyst for a Fractured Psyche would fit more IMO. It doesn't even feel like a song, just a bunch of scrambled notes. Yeah, there are a lot of cool parts, but it doesn't outweigh the overused randomness of the song.
@@TeamGalactic-Cyrus Yeah i agree it does. It still isn’t amazing because of the song’s melody, and the trumpet sounds weird with the high notes, but it is better.
IMO, this is the whole point. At the beginning, the song sounds dissonant and has an almost repellent tone because, lore-wise, this is an abhorrent place where you're NOT supposed to be. Then, as you progress in battle and get used to fighting interdimensional horrors, the beat also settles, culminating in the pinnacle of the fight at 3:35.
@@daenotes4845 I feel like there is a way to make the song fit the boss and feel like you shouldn’t be there without having (imo) bad melodies and what’s basically a jumbled mess until the one cool part.
