No it's not a hard change. The channel puts out 15-20 hours of content a week tops. The chance of you consuming every minute of that content is miniscule at best. Even if you did, there's 168 hours in a week. The content is the same. The voice and hair changed. That's it. If you allow that to negativity affect your emotions, get less weak or unsub.

I never watched until more recently, I was looking for snowrunner content, so I didn’t know about anything that was going on in your comment section. So I had to look into it myself and I think what makes a lot of the long time viewers confused is you were super energetic, hyped up, playing the games and seemed genuinely happy. Meanwhile none of us know how you were actually feeling on the inside.
Now I’ve watched the videos addressing comments and saying this has always been you. The only thing is maybe tell your long time viewers what made you decide to change rather than just suddenly doing it and giving no real explanation. I know it’s personal so it’s honestly up to you but I mean if you felt this way as a child maybe going into that and the struggles you’ve dealt with holding onto essentially a secret
It’s their life, they owe us absolutely no explanation as to why they want to change. They felt they wanted to be who they felt they were one day and did it. They do not owe it to “warn” us on what they are choosing to do with their own personal life

We all go through that hyper aware phase about our voice. Its okay. But like, voices are not that important, you don't owe a perfect voice to annnnyyone. Just be genuinely you. The world is how it is, and tbh, it's getting better. You'd be surpised how many truckers apologize for thinking I'm a dude on the phone, then it's right to business. I'm a maintenance foreman, so I'm not thin skinned, but as long as your sass is funnier than their sass, you'll be just fine.
Don't obsess, don't worry, just be.

Biologist here. There is absolutely not scientific credence for homophobia, sexism, racism, transphobia, etc. being LGBTQ+ is not just natural, but it’s the only option in many species.
In fact homosexuality has been observed in over 1,500 species commonly considered to have two separate sexes, and that’s not including all the species with one sex or where all individuals have both sexes, such as all living organisms that aren’t vertebrate animals, and then a good portion of those are LGBTQ as well.

I've been subscribed since...god, like, 2012 or something? Truthfully I haven't watched too many of your videos since the mid-2010s, but I just want to say this:
As someone who's also going through their own trans journey and becoming comfortable being an online figure with that part of my identity being public, you have my unequivocal, passionate support. I lurk, I may not be actively keeping up with every video, but I know just how hard it is to go through that transition with a platform, ESPECIALLY when you established that platform before starting to figure stuff out.
Keep going. You're making a LOT of people happy, and the people you aren't can either move on or get over themselves already, because no matter how much they bitch and moan and spit acid at you, they don't get to choose what you do with your life. Bless you

A video, like this needed to happen at some point i'd say. A shame that steph had to do it, because of the ignorance, bigotry & just incredible silliness & trolling. Yes, being transgender, is not for everyone. And that's fine. But the haters, at least be respectful about it, or just don't bother saying anything at all, if it's going to be negative comments & the like.

I had a feeling your audience was gonna be like this about it tbh. Having an audience of guys who consider themselves traditionally masculine. Some of it is dudes who genuinely just don’t get it. I think that’s fine. But then there’s a ton who are entrenched in identity politics now and feel the need to rant and rave (much like the virtue signaling they hate) at anything they don’t align with politically. There is an area of the brain that may be linked with masculinity and femininity (behavioural). The larger it is the more masculine and the smaller the more feminine. And the thing is, it’s a good deal larger in gay males than in straight males, and smaller in gay females than straight females.
(And before anyone says anything, no it has no link to intelligence, different areas of the brain specialise in different things.)

Today is my first time back watching your channel in about a 6 month time gap. I just now found out what all happened. All I'm going to say is "I'M SHOCKED." I have been a subscriber of yours for over a decade and I remember the 1st videos of yours jumping off road trucks in gta5 with AR12GAMING and DR TOM. I have heard of and seen guys with higher pitched voices decide to get a transgender procedure done. And I've always been an advocate of free speech and of AMERICA, THE LAND OF THE FREE AND HOME OF THE BRAVE. All of yall should stop harassing TC9700GAMING (AKA "FOREST") because he (now she) decided to have a Trans gender procedure done. I have no intentions of Transitioning to a woman but I am going to say this. Hey TC there is a youtuber called Forrest Valkai (@RenegadeScienceTeacher) who is an evolutionary biologist that I love. And one of his earliest videos titled sex and sensibility is about sex (biological term), gender and so on from a biological standpoint. And he uses evidence to show how gender and sex are a spectrum, There is nothing unnatural about being LGBTQ+ and that sexism, racism, transphobia, homophobia and so on are terrible, misogynistic, and completely unfounded beliefs. There is nothing in science supporting these things.
To everyone who thinks these things;
Being LGBTQ+ is natural, deal with it.
