Know what this song feels like? It's like going back to your hometown only to find out the things you've loved have started to fade away. The tree where you and the kids gather to play, the starry skies you can no longer see, that favorite spot at the rooftop where you used to take your alone time when you needed it and even the people themselves whom you're unsure if you'll ever meet again. You've grown, you've grown apart the things in the past which built you who you are today are changing. And now some very dear things you've treasured burned to the ground, all the hard work, all the love, care and effort you put just to make your dreams come true. The smiles you've made and shared with everyone along the way all gone. They're all in the past now. Once again, you grow, you look up, you smile and think "I'll treasure these memories, for as long as I still have these memories we are all still together". Still, you take comfort in the fact that there is still hope, then as you gain another hint of strength you press forward.

That's what Tifa's theme feels like. Because that's who Tifa is. The hope amidst despair, the light in the darkness, and the rock in the storm. The best friend that will always be there to make sure you press forward, but also won't accept you being less than your best because they know you can do it.

FF7 is somehow so majestic and it always will be.
This is definitely one of my favorite themes of all time in any game ever. Tifa's theme projects to me that true deep love and admiration for someone special. Just an overall beautiful person inside and outside. The feelings that you hope they feel the same way about you as well. I really feel Nobuo Uematsu nailed the sweet feeling of when you have a special crush on someone. Tifa as a character also has some of the best qualities in my opinion. Loyalty, strength, great motherly type of qualities to Marlene aside from being attractive both inside and out, she really looks after Cloud and her people and much more. Also while everybody seems to be hitting on her all the time she stays reserved for the one person she hopes she will one day build something with. If it wasn't for Tifa, Cloud would have definitely died many times. Tifa is the true MVP in FF7 to me. When people speak of that ride or die type of girl, Tifa's character is it ladies and gentlemen. I'm sure many of you FF7 heads will agree with me on that. Thank you for playing this theme for us. It is truly special to so many people including myself. I Definitely subscribed to you after finding this gem played on the guitar 🎶 💎 🔵🟢🟣🔴🟡⚫⚪☄

Off the top of my head: harmonics, changed fret locations, some omitted notes, and a changed ending.

Hey John. Been playing almost 20 years. Never used a capo. The tabs confuse me. Capo on the third fret but the notes are behind the third. How does this work?
Yo! When a capo is used, you play relative to the capo. Almost like you pretend the capo is the nut. For instance with capo 3, an open first string would be shown as an open E, but when sounded, it is a 3rd fret G. Hope that helps!
