Love to see young kids learning wildlife management and enjoy doing it as well. Better then running the roads getting in trouble. Good job son proud of ya'.
Fox: Is he lettin my foot loose? Aww hell let me lay still for a minute. Dude: lets the foot loose. Fox: Peace Yo I'm out!!! I'm suing for my broke foot!!! 😂 Great video, I subbed.
How do kids like this exist in todays society, so calm, so likeable, and if u watch some of his other videos hes actually very considerate of other people. One video he deliberatly edited out the killshot on an animal he trapped because some people dont like that. Seems like a great person.
matickidd But he doesn't do it for fun. He does it to help the environment and to not waste resources given to us by nature. Basically he's just living a more advanced Native American lifestyle.
Ha ha!!! I love how you cut to the clips of throwing down the catch pole and then kicking over the cage trap in disgust! Very entertaining! That must be Brer Fox from the Uncle Remus stories! You gotta laugh at him gettin away!
1:13 when it hops away, and you just stand there for like 5 seconds and then throw your stick thing then kick the trap has me dying 😂😂😂 then saying "i would tell you what he said but i wasnt with him long enough to ask him" 😂🤣🤣
You're a good sport! Losing that fox had to be disappointing, though it was a good day for the fox!!! By not throwing a temper tantrum was a good witness...as usual, I totally enjoyed the video! BE SAFE, GOD BLESS!!!
"Worst nightmare?" Try catching a female wolverine & having to release her!! Then having to run hundreds of yards on snowshoes w her trying to kill you. THATS a nightmare! Or an eagle caught in a fox set. He shredded my control blanket in seconds. Was PISSED!! Was able to tangle him up w shredded blanket around wings just long enough to release him & RUN!!
natural fur is a renewable resource leaves NO environmental footprint unlike synthetic fibers. Wear your fur coat with pride because you are doing your part in protecting the environment! !
I was out checking my traps and had a bobcat in a leg hold. They weren't in season yet so I had to release it. I used a carpet to cover it and release the trap. It didn't even fight back. A nice female, it laid down and allowed me to even touch it. I got the trap off and was ready for any attack. I had my side arm ready. It looked right at me, licked it's paw and sat there looking at me. The thing that changed my life was when it walked up to me and sniffed my boot, did a head butt type thing to my leg and sat there looking at me. I had a change of heart that day. I haven't trapped since. Today I take in stray cats, unwanted pets or the mean ones. They get used to me and I find them homes. I had about 100- 110 conibears, 100 220's, 35 330's and 60 leg hold traps. I did nuisance trapping, gathered a lot of fur. Coyote, fox, fisher, muskrat and mink helped me buy a CR 250.

Dan McCarthy Exactly the same thing happen to me the only difference was when he came up to me and then looked up to see me i did put a bullet between his little eye's....
@@TheRealestEric trapping does more to keep wildlife populations controlled then hunting. Most states don't allow shooting beaver or muskrat. Seeing much less shooting a mink is rare. Fish and game departments back trapping as a viable effective animal control. Lots of RUclips videos on the proper humaine way to trap. This guy does a great job.
thats hilarious man, im sorry about your catch getting away.. I know how that can be, ima fishermen myself. theres always a story how the "One!" got away..
They got catch loop sticks,,,that lock,,,so to free up your hand,,,,so just what happened, dont happen,,,its just a lesson,,,i bet it wont happen, to ya again,,,,ultra cool vid!!😎
It's really sad to read these hate comments. It just tells how alienated people are from nature and death surrounding it. Those red foxes have reduced the grouse population with raccoon dogs here in Finland.
Nearly all animals have a positive and a negative impact. Even humans do, and we've caused way more harm to other species and the environment than any other animal has.
Some of my first and fondest memories are of checking muskrat and raccoon traps with my father. I couldn't wait to get up early in the morning and check those muskrat sets. We were not often as successful with the raccoon sets, Possums, skunks, one time we got a crow… One particular pond we had to stop trapping because someone was stealing our muskrats. When fur prices dropped in the mid-80s that was pretty much the end of my trapping experience.
You are the coolest dude on RUclips, and the funniest too. Just love your channel Kendall. Hope you are having a great trapping season. Keep up the good work.
Some pissed of old guy who saw my trap while hiking through the middle of the deep forest set of my main trap then traced my prints all the way back to my other two. And it was completely legal for me to trap there
Carson Cordell that's what a game warden is for. when your legally trapping it is illegal for anyone to tamper with your set in any way. I have that problem from time to time and after the warden is done informing them of their crime and their options they generally settle up with me out of court so they don't have to pay a higher cost to any loss it may have cost me.
Still, when your dog gets caught in a spring trap (by the leg that just came out of a cast) in a popular river island park, one does get a bit angry and perhaps the trap gets destroyed in a fit of fury. The trapper never contacted me for the trap after I reported it to Fish and Wildlife. Maybe he did not want to face a very irate, some say crazy, woman? PS I am not against trapping, I do it myself, but I would NOT put one where people and pets tend to roam.
trapped a 9 pound snapping turtle removing the hook and he swings around really fast and gets ahold of my forearm I walked a half mile home with the snapping turtle on my arm we didn't want to kill it then so we had to pry his mouth open with some needle nose pliers it sucked was also the first time I was bit by a turtle
This goes out to all you lazy indoorsmen. If hunting and trapping videos offend you, I have a piece of advice- DON'T WATCH OR COMMENT ON THEM. And another thing, if you wouldn't say it to a person's face, don't say it at all
Juggernaut X whatever! I hate this new thing like of u don't like this vid don't watch utube said it and I don't want to see everyone some hilbilky rolling in mud with a werid accent anyways
I like your self-deprecating way. Not sure how many people would be willing to share their failures as well as their successes. Best part of this vid was your reaction when the fox escaped. Yeah seems like a great person, apart from torturing animals for fun.

matickidd nothing wrong with trapping!
It's called being raised right. It's a dying practice these days.
The fox was so happy he hoped away 1:13 .... Also like this comment if your reading this in 2018
That fox said,"YEEEEEEET GET THEM LEGS BROKEN""

Ah yes, trappers worst nightmare.an animal living in the wild instead of on a fur coat

Alacran De La Sierra You’re one of those heartless bastards, aren’t you?
I wish I had farm land to hunt on. Good upload!
The fox is smarter than you!! Your lucky he didn't jump in your car and take off! I bet you left the keys in it. Didn't you.
backwoodsbully I sure did. I should've thought about that!
backwoodsbully stfu a fox would know better than you that its "you're" and not "your"
Dinocornosaurus YOU'RE a grammar Nazi!
backwoodsbully lmao 😂

I like this young man. He embodies that genuine respectful nature missing from the younger generation. Kudos to his parents!
the sly Fox got ya there haha it's funny how they're always portrayed as sly and sneaky in movies etc and he certainly was great stuff
thats hilarious man, im sorry about your catch getting away.. I know how that can be, ima fishermen myself. theres always a story how the "One!" got away..

John Burnham. People are to far away from nature today.
Yeah but at least people use 100 percent of the animal to use

Im not vegan but i feel really bad for the poor animals :(
if you make wax dirt and use it to cover your traps you wouldn't have to worry about the trap freezing in the ground
Good luck next time bro

LOL
But why?!
Hehe
A nightmare... I think that fox just had it's worst nighmare!
I'm a hunter and hunt everything but that trapping is messed up. Just get night vision and a good Simi rifle.
Taylor T yea traping is a waste of time when you could just shot it.
1:20 made me laugh! Your reaction was amazing!
that one comment about the fox and not knowing what he said made me freaking bawl laughing
how its trapping still legal even in a state like PA where the law are so strict. hunting is awesome i just don't agree with trapping at all. Because if the hunter isn't committed to checking every 10-24 hrs its cruelty. like its is from the start anyway

Drew John -Why would we not have that authority? Every theory of human origins gives us that right.
You definitely got bullied in school.
Why 😕
Why??
Chrono is probably just trying to find someone he can relate to. 😉
Thom Croh haha lol 😄👏

That fox is gonna have a severe limp for awhile! he just dropped a few notches on the ole food chain 😊
I was at a friends house many years ago in Bow String MN and they have about three hundred acres and their sons a avid hunter/trapper like you. He'd take me spear fishing, rifle shooting, snow mobiling and I'd watch him skin. Good times miss those days. You bring back that feeling.
Hey Kendall have you ever trapped beavers?? Yes the four legged beavers!!
Great video! I have to say, I was rooting for the fox. Hehe.

Glad to see that fox get away.

At first glance I thought that was a cougar and I was thinking dang have fun with that one. lol
I "lock" the video." Kendall you are fun and funny. There were trappers in my family. My nephew was trapping bobcats.

The part when he lost the fox should be a vine!
It's ok Kendall... you can get him/her next time! I believe in you!
the only nuisance is he can't tell the difference between varmint and game sounds. probably heard the fox walking and thought it was a deer 😂
+haeshua willis dude I was looking at the fox
growing up in Alabama, we had a couple of stray dogs that adopted me and my family. Every once in a while one or the strays would hobble back home with a trap on its foot. Those were some tough dogs.
