God, I love this channel. The ambience is enough where it’s not distracting, but not so little that it’s lacking. Also, just huge props to the person behind this channel finding such suiting music for DND. I’ve based scenes in my campaigns off of this channels music alone. Much love and thanks.
Making a DnD campaign and I’ve gotta say that listening to your music really helps to come up with scenarios! Sets the atmosphere during a session perfectly. Many thanks!

@@nevanmasterson46 what’s a strahd campaign? Is it premade? I’ve always been interested in the vampiric characters since virtually nobody I’ve ever seen has played as a vampire, and they’re rarely ever used as enemies… Strahd IS a vampire, yes?
@@Sinatragaze Sorry dude, I wrote out a lengthy comment explaining what it is but I then accidentally clicked off to another page and lost the entire thing 😭 To address your questions: - The full campaign title is Curse of Strahd - It's pre-made by Wizards of the Coast - Strahd is THE vampire (Big Bad Evil Guy) who likes to toy around with the players throughout the campaign As a piece of personal advice, I wouldn't recommend running it if you're a first-time DM! It doesn't provide any story or plot chains, but rather simply serves as a framework to run a campaign, being filled with names, places, and - occassionally - events. All in all though, it's good fun!

Not even a minute in and I'm already in love. I'm just recently starting a new campaign with some friends and I'm so glad I found you guys!! You always seem to have exactly the right music for the tone I need in my plans, and I can't wait to start playing and integrating your playlists into them and watch my players fall in love with them as much as I am! Keep up the amazing work! 😄😄👏💙💙
I decided to comment on that one because it's going to hold a special place in my campaign I'm DMing. That's going to be the background music for the banquet, the grand feast during the night where our world is celebrating the wedding of an elven prince. Lots of people, fancy clothes, tasty food and alcohol in loads. And my players have to still the wedding ring of the said elven prince for their quest. It's going to be one hell of a ride. I've also used your Ship ambience music last session. It was the perfect choice. And I've gone through many, many more of your stuff and I am blown away every time by your talent, your musical awareness and how the flow is natural in every of your composition. You are an underestimated treasure. Thank you so much for all that amazing stuff !
At the dance "So, tell me Lady Ascot, who do you think stole the crown jewels?" "Why, I never!" "I know you didn't. That's why I am asking." --- on the other side of the room "Sir, why do you have your hand submerged in the cheese dip???" "Ummmm To keep it warm???? There's a draft in here. Be a good fella Meadows, find a window and close it." ----- meanwhile in the royal treasury "I told you to be quiet, not start a riot......or a fire." ---- back at the party "Oh my Prince Openheimer, you are so light on your feet. It must be easy for you to sneak into the family vault." ------ Back at the Dance "I say, you look vaguely familiar. Where have I seen your face before???" "On my head. Where do you keep yours??" ----- Off to the side of the room "Caviar sir?" "What is it??" "Fish Eggs." "I'll take two scrambled with some bacon and ketchup.....and no onions Meadows. I have allergies!" -----meanwhile in the kitchen "Did you find the jewels?" "MUNCH MUNCH MUNCH.....GULP! It's not in this cake." ------ Back at the dance "Hey, Lord Stuftshirt, what's that in your eye?" "It's a monocle. it helps me see things closer." "Like jewels you are about to snatch??? -----in the Cloak Room "Any luck yet???" "7 Stoats, 15 minks, 12 velvets, 3 fox, 2 bears, 1 gold embroidery and one rabbit. We'll make a fortune." -------At the dance "Excuse me may I have this dance? " "Can't afford one of your own. hu????........Suspect Number one." ----- Back at the party "You said you were going to do this investigation with tact." "No, I said you would be lucky if we left everything INTACT. BTW Here's our damages bill." "What damages???" "That Cheese Dip was hot." ----- at the dance "Lord O'Sophat. if you had a stolen gem the size of a pumpkin, where would you put it" "Back where I found it." "Not the answer I was looking for." ------in the great hall "Any luck in the upstairs bedroom??" "I haven't even had luck in my own bedroom." ------And lastly at the Foyer "Out! Out! Out! Out! Get out and never come back!! "I get a feeling you want us to leave." "You lied to the royal family! You insulted our guests, you torched the royal treasure, you dismantled the kitchen and you contaminated the food!!!" "Your right. Here's our bill." 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
In the middle of the great hall: "Okay stop the music! Everyone here is guilty of stealing the crown jewels!!" "Why would you say such a thing??" "Look at them. Their all wearing masks." "Sir. this IS a MASQUERADE." "Is that a confession??"
In the Grand Gallery: "Lord Burlap, just so you know, we know you were the one that stole the jewels. Just so you know." " Now why would I do that?? I'm a senator." "AHHHHAAAA!......Suspect number 2."
Off to the side: "Your majesty. You know that statue in the hall by the stairs??" "The marble one of my great ancestor, that's over 1000 years old?" "Its gonna need a broom."
In a wing of the palace: "Where are we?" "Library I think." "See the jewels?" "Hard to see anything. Its dark. get a light." "FIREBALL ARBORRUNDUM MAXIMUS!!!!!!"
At the dance: "Excuse me but if you do not mind my saying; Your presence here at this dance tonight is so...enchanting. I saw you from across that dance floor and like some divine arrow of love, I instantly became fixated with your beauty, your charm, your grace, your very essence. Your hair is soft like silk, your eyes are like to limped pools, your face is more beautiful that any I have seen." "Suspect number three."
I kinda wish the loop was more elaborate and longer. It's a bit flat this time around. It only ever stays in this "early" stage of the dance, I wish it would go through more development.
I agree from a song perspective. It feels like the introduction to a dance scene in a movie score and I was expecting that energy to go to another movement and feel a bit dramatic because it feels like it keeps trying to build to that. However, as a background music track, you can't really get that big dramatic swell into some new musical movement without potentially making the music more foreground than the actual story being told at the table, so I feel like that's why the actual song stays a bit more on that muted introductory part of a waltz. That being said, I think at least 1 other melodic movement before the loop (like extending the couple bars of harp just before the repeat into a full break from the strings for a couple of phrases) would've made it feel a lot better. The first phrase of the loop is so easy to aurally identify because of the repetition in the strings that it can't help but signal that the loop has restarted, which pulls me out of the song and that's not usually a problem I experience with music on this channel. It's a really great mood and really fills a unique ambiance niche, it just feels like the song is portraying a sophisticated atmosphere and the simplicity of the loop feels like it's fighting against that portrayal.
Considering the original song is about 1 min 40 sec in length, it's a bit difficult to get the loop much longer or more varying without composing extra parts.
"You gotta look at it the other way around: we are a demon and three orcs at a celebration in the royal palace, everything around us is fancy and those snobby nobles are awsome to steal from.
