Total Solar Eclipse 2024 | Plattsburgh NY

There was so much noise about the eclipse this month, I really didn't think 3 minutes of darkness during the day would be "life changing." I was wrong as shit!!!
What was so incredible about this experience was for the first time, I actually made sense of what the sun is to our planet. For forever, I've looked toward the sun and it's a bright blob in the sky. You can't really "see" it. But to actually see flame, plasma, solar flares, moving on the edge of the sun with my bare eyes, turned this inanimate bright blob in the sky into something tangible and real. It keeps us warm because it's literally a giant campfire in space. I mean I think it's a little different than that but still.
If you ever have the chance to experience FULL totality, do it!!! These pics don't even do it 0.001% justice. I think I hit like 115bpm halfway through totality and I was sitting down.
