If you keep your pumpkins in the feilds they start to ferment and make drunkin ratcoons it's crazy riding down past a pumpkin farm with drunk deer and ratcoons running around in the middle of the roadways. If you see drunk deer and ratcoons look around they're more then likely a pumpkin farm near by

I'm in Australia, just grown our first giant pumpkins and they look ready to harvest now. Any further advice for cutting and storage here as we are getting 30-40+ celcius temps atm? I really want these to last till Halloween.
Question I am growing cinderella pumpkins and Fairytale pumpkin's I placed the together but my question is they are both orange but there ripening yellow then orange and turning Green what did they cross pollinate and do this or did they cross with something else I have growing
I tried that experiment a couple years back when growing pumpkins in my backyard with a couple of uncarved ones I didn't get to finish and sure enough they lasted a whole year.

Pumpkins are a superfood..just cook them with potatoes and mash them. Yummy.
Need more info on the storage part . Overall good basic knowledge 👌

Their thick outer skin allows them to be stored longer. Potatoes, Garlic and onion also store well, do you think they are fresh in stores.
