      @@MathematicsTutor I think a circle is many to many. The a domain value x produces multiple y values and a range value y can be produced by multiple x values

      I agree this video is incorrect I would not trust it also he says y=x^2 is a one to one when it is a one to many@@matthewjohnstone7324

    If one to many relation is possible in a data, but it makes a situation in which there is no repetition of primary and foreign keys, then will it be one to many or one to one? Anyone??

    Can one to many and many to one relation have elements with one to one??

    • @MathematicsTutor
      @MathematicsTutor  3 года назад

      No. Relation is defined for the set of element. Even if one of them is related with many, it is not one-to-one
      Thanks

      @@MathematicsTutor no sir, I meant suppose if a relation is one to many, can that relation btwn 2 sets have elements which also follow one to one relation?

    • @AmarKumar-ej8kv
      @AmarKumar-ej8kv 3 года назад

      Yes, it's a possibility that there can be some elements in the two sets that can have one to one relation but if we have even one relation of many to one or one to many then we don't call it a one to one relation.

      Highly appreciate that! It is difficult to get them on top of search engine. I really don't know how to do it. I don't even have a web-site to direct my viewers. I'm happy that some are able to appreciate! hope that many will join. Thanks for your thoughts!
