First thing to do once you have opened the tablet is disconect the battery then the last thing before closing up the tablet reconnect the battery saves you blowing the backlight circuit 👍

Yes, you can do this easily on some models, but in this model, it is more practical to connect the screen connections first. Because the battery socket is at the bottom.

@SBRepair I know iv done many you need a thin piece of plastic you slide between the the battery and conecter, breaking the connection and avoiding problems 👍
