Some of you might remember in 2021, i was attempting to make Nick Knacks style series on PBS. But truth is, i canceled it cause i didn't have the time to commit to such a huge project, and also i didn't wanna sit through stuff like Cailou or Teletubbies. so this vid is making up for that. hope you like it.
Mister Rogers Neighborhood is my all time favorite tv show I love everything about it from the sets to the puppetry to the puppets to the characters to the locations to the subjects he talked about. Fred Rogers was a one of a kind human being and he is missed over 20 years after his death RIP Fred Rogers (1928 - 2003) you are missed over 20 years later and your legacy lives on
I think I was probably the right age to have experienced nearly all the shows mentioned in this video. Pretty much everything up until “World Girl” and “Martha Speaks” was part of my PBS experience growing up. One show you neglected to include was “Redwall”. My family never owned cable till much later on, so PBS was pretty much the only channel we had access to watching, and “Redwall” was the right show to scratch that itch I had for more darker, dramatic story-driven cartoons. The book series it’s based off are also really great.
I definitely grew up more with PBS Kids during the 2000s. I loved watching Cyberchase, Arthur, Maya and Miguel, Between The Lions, Liberty Kids, Barney, Dragon Tales and Sesame Street to name a few. PBS was definitely the go to when you didn't have cable.
As someone a few years younger than you, my core PBS Kids memories are mainly from the 2000s, during the first few years that they had Dot & Dash as the mascot of the block. Because of this, I primarily remember watching programs such as Sesame Street (back when it started to become very segment-heavy), Barney & Friends (mainly the late 90s/early 2000s era and the Selena Gomez & Demi Lovato episodes), Arthur, ZOOM, Caillou (yeah yeah I know), Teletubbies, Clifford the Big Red Dog, the 2000s Berenstain Bears cartoon where Michael Cera voiced Brother, Postcards from Buster, & Fetch with Ruff Ruffman. Also, in school sometimes, I remember occasionally watching Reading Rainbow, Magic School Bus, and especially Bill Nye via the TV cart with the VCR attached
I would always like watching Sesame Street, Barney and Friends (90s and early 2000s era too), Wishbone, Reading Rainbow, Zoboomafoo, Carmen Sandiego, Noddy, Theodore Tugboat, Shining Time Station, Big Comfy Couch, Mister Rogers, Zoom, Arthur, Teletubbies, Clifford, and Between the Lions.
I like watching Barney and a bit of Teletubbies, but I neutral to that show. Nick Yuck Wood and other fans of the show said that the Teletubbies characters are the Boo shouters.
PBS Kids and PBS GO! was serene childhood memory when I was a kid in the 2000's and it was serene I remember Clifford the Big Red Dog, Thomas the Train Engine, Pingu, Cyberchase and Sesame Street. PBS 키즈와 PBS GO! 2000년대 어렸을 적 고요했던 어린 시절의 추억은 고요했고.
I remember PBS kids in the 2000s. I was born in 2006, so I remember this channel for a long time growing up shows like Arthur, Sesame Street, Clifford the big red dog, Cyberchase, Super Why, Caillou, Wild Kratts,Thomas & Friends, and of course, Barney & Friends particularly their hit entertainment years I also remember some of the same shows that were on Sprout As well as other shows that I never seen on PBS such as Zooboomafoo, Dragon Tales, The Berenstain Bears and so on. I also remember that they used to play the use your imagination song back in the day good times. Nowadays whenever they stream shows like Barney they altered and removed certain segments such as the Barney says segments from Season 7,8 and 12, The helping hand with growing children segments the let's play with Barney segments and the Barney travel book segments. If there was like a box set for the hit entertainment era, then I wanted to have those segments featured on them if they had those masters somewhere along the previous eras and I wanted though segments and some of the other things that were originally aired on PBS television. Overall PBS kids is an awesome children's network and it's definitely a channel that I definitely will remember.
I loved PBS Kids, I used to watch it all the time when I was little, it had Dinosaur Train, Cat In The Hat, Wild Kratts, Sesame Street, Daniel Tigers Neighborhood, Super Why, Cyberchase, Odd Squad, Arthur, Nature Cat, Splash & Bubbles, (I think it was cancelled but was still airing when i had it) and so on and so on, It also sometimes had shows like Fetch in the morning when I’m waking up, and WordGirl at night, and Caillou and WordWorld was there as well, such a nice childhood show, i loved it
For one Sesame Street, Mr. Rogers and Reading Rainbow were my 3 shows I grew up with. I know my mom or dad probley put me down in front of the TV as an infant and started watching Sesame Street and Mr. Rogers in their 13th season but I wouldn't be able to tell you any of the episodes during those first 5 years of my life. It wasn't till at least 89 into the 90's that I remember certain episodes from SS and Mr. Rogers. They were already aware of being well known by this point in my life. Reading Rainbow I can almost recall watching it from the beginning but still only a few shows here and there. I watched these show till I was in my teens. I even watched Barney and Friends during my teenage years and I always felt weird watching especially when my dad would come home from work or happen to walk into the living room. I would immediately change the channel but sometimes he would sneak in without me knowing and by the time I would change the channel he would say, "Why are you watching that shit?!" Which I would say, "Oh I was just channel surfing and happen to land on that channel when you happened to be in the room" but he knew. It was at least when I got into my 20's that I stopped watching any of them. I would see them when my nieces would watching certain shows like Dragon Tales and Teletubbies. It wasn't till the late 2000's that I remember seeing this one show which was Between the Lions and really got into it! I really did enjoy it and it felt like one of my older shows that I grew up with. Got into that show and started recording re-runs and new episodes. Plus it being made from fellow Sesame Street alumni also had part in it. Yes I was an adult watching a kids show as you can see but sometimes things just catch your eye and begin to enjoy it even if it wasn't aimed at you. That's my PBS story of growing up with my shows. Thanks again 47 Cartoon Guy for another great video of nostalgia!
That was a LOT of childhood shows that I’ve forgotten that just came back to me! …But of course, there were also plenty of PBS Kids shows that i kept remembering as a kid like Barney, Cyberchase (my childhood self had a suspicion about Digit’s voice being just like Iago from Disney’s Aladdin, and I was right!) Arthur, and my top favorite show in my early childhood days… whether you like it or not, Teletubbies.
I still remember watching between the lions, zoboomafoo, curious George, and so much more. Dot and dash are iconic mascots I can’t imagine pbs without them.
I like PBS Kids! I remember watching Arthur, Sesame Street Barney and Friends, Daniel's Tiger Neighborhood Dinsoaur Train, Sid the Science Kid, Martha Speaks, Angelina Ballerina: The Next Steps, Caillou Bob the Builder and Peg Plus Cat when I was little 💖
OMG, Thanks for making this. I grew up on PBS in the 90s and early 2000s. Unfortunately I didn't have cable until 2004. My era of PBS kids was the 90s up to 2004. I felt envious of kids who had Nick & Cartoon Network growing up. The other kids network I grew up on were Fox Kids and Kids WB. But I give PBS credit for making me a very cultured person. Loved Shining Time Station, Wishbone, Arthur, Magic School Bus and Noddy. Some episodes even dealt with tough subjects. They don't make them like they use to anymore.
I wasn't born until July 1997, but I do remember the vast majority of these. Even though I never saw Carmen San Diego, The Puzzle Place, Music Pizza or Kino's Storytime. The second of these I first heard of around ten years ago, as I realized it still aired in reruns until March 31, 2000. When it was replaced by "Between the Lions" the following week. However there is a similar story involving another show with puppets that wasn't mentioned here called "Wimzie's House", which originally aired in Canada in the mid-'90s. It is know to have aired in reruns on PBS between '97 and 2001, but I'm often conflicted as to if I remember seeing it as a kid, or if it was aired on the affiliates I regularly watched (WNET, CPTV, WLIW). Even when revisiting several episodes of it as an adult, I often found myself asking "Did I see this back then?". Because there were at least two other shows involving puppets of some kind on PBS that I saw as a fairly young child, but I can't seem to figure out what they were...
I remember watching PBS Kids from Pre-K until third grade! Here is the list of my favorite PBS Kids shows ever made!: Arthur, Curious George, Super Why!, WordGirl, Dinosaur Train, Wild Kratts, Martha Speaks, The Magic School Bus, Barney & Friends, Zoboomafoo, Between the Lions, Liberty's Kids, WordWorld, Sid the Science Kid, The Electric Company, and Maya & Miguel.
Maya and Miguel was lindo PBS Kids Go! after school was Arthur, Between the Lions, Martha Speaks, WordGirl and all that stuff boss. I kinda miss Seasme Street and PBS Kids.
I'm surprised none of the subscriptions hadn't even upload more PBS Kids (PTV Park) on KCET through the years program and pledge breaks. We want to see more about them, so I would like to see the PTV Park program break on KCET from 1998 features the PTV Park promo or the bumper for Shining Time Station on KCET with the extended music video in long version in just over a minute and 30 seconds (with lots of footage from seasons 2 and 3 with Thomas story episodes). It is from after an old rerun of Barney entitled If The Shoe Fits... from season 3 before The Puzzle Place as the new upload. Please. I want to see that. I've been complaining about that for years. And I mean, I like Shining Time Station on KCET. It was wonderful. Then, the compilation of KCET Kids Club pledge drives during the late 20th century, maybethat I really saw ever since I was a kid. And in the next uploads from 1999/2000 season follow by Captain Infinity promos during 2000s program breaks and pledge drives.
Wishbone, Shining Time Station, Arthur, Puzzle Place, Sesame Street, Magic School Bus, Wimzie's House, Zoboomafoo, Kratt's Creatures, Lamb Chop's Play-along, Mr. Roger's Neighborhood, Big Comfy Couch, Reading Rainbow, Barney, Carmen Sandiego.....so many memories😊. I also watched Storytime with Kino, Clifford the Big Red Dog, Groundling Marsh and Tot's TV. I didn't really care about the other shows that came after. Just like you, I discovered Cartoon Network. I grew up on Wishbone. I have a Jack Russell too. She's my sixth JRT.
I grew up in the 2000s. I remember Arthur, Jay jay The Jetplane, wishbone, Clifford the big red dog, Bill Nye the science guy, The Magic School Bus, Clifford's puppy days, Maya and Miguel, Zooboomafoo, George Shrinks, Mister Roger's Neighborhood, Between The Lions, Caillou, Dragon Tales
I remember some of the tv show although I didn't know about the game show Carmen sandiego are the science Guy. I remember the magic School bus,Barney, I think kid sing, Arthur and sesame Street, and many others. I sometimes wish I can go back as a kid and watch them all again 😊
One PBS Kids show I wish everyone could experience is Super Why ❤ Teaching morals, and books I remember watching this show constantly, or at least every chance I got. Red is my favorite Also, the Kratt brothers actually got their own cartoon, Wild Kratts, anyone who's watched knows
I could never forget the funding credit segments of most of the shows I've watched in the 2000s, especially in this intro 0:00. My local PBS station is KERA 13.
I totally remember some of these. My PBS affiliate is KETC-TV channel 9 in St. Louis and actually (I'm not sure if it's still running) but one of their digital subchannels had a network that showed all their current and some recurrent shows on it (known as Nine Kids).
When you mentioned Reading Rainbow. We had a couple of series similar to it here in Oz. In 1978 we had a little series called Book Worm (I have 5 episodes on my channel) and in 1996, we had Book Bug. Book Worm was a small series which had Barbara and Book Worm reading the story of the day, where as Book Bug made a live interpretation of kid's books. Both were interesting. Then similar to Book Bug, the UK did a series of Look and Read where a book was turned into a story, some over 5-10 episodes each.
Before watching one second of this vid I just want to say thank you. I don't recall seeing anybody making a retrospective on PBS's kid-targeted content which definitely contributed to the 90s and most of the 2000s being the golden age for child entertainment that they were. Shining Time Station was my jam! It's kind of a forgotten gem these days but is the show that introduced America to Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends which I'm still a huge fan of.
Mine too. I remember saw the PTV Park promo for Shining Time Station on KCET with the extended theme song music video style with lots of footage from seasons 2 and 3 with Thomas story episodes during one of the program breaks back then in 1997 or 1998. It was wonderful.
My most distinct memory with PBS Kids was this one time, when I was in 3rd grade, I went to watch PBS kids before school. But when I flipped the tv to the PBS channel, the channel was completely frozen on a close up of Curious George’s face. I didn’t think much of it and just watched a different channel instead. But when I got home from school and turned on PBS, it was still frozen on George’s face!
As a kid growing up in the 80s and 90s these shows were legendary. Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego, Wishbone, the Magic School Bus, and Reading Rainbow were my favorites. Liberty Kids was awesome and had an all star voice cast.
So, the 2000s was not just the golden age of music, but the golden age of TV, as well! I grew up with many teen sitcoms on Nickelodeon and Disney Channel during this time, as well, concluding with iCarly and Wizards of Waverly Place. Congratulations to that beautiful show on getting a reboot just like another epic show from the 2000s, That’s So Raven, coming back as Raven’s Home. It is clear that the 2020s are trying to be like the 2000s or heck, even the early 2010s.
@@akrzton1Sorry, but the golden age of television was arguably the 80s-90s, not the 2000s and the golden age of music was definitely not the 2000s😂 Do yourself a favor and listen to music from the 80s. It's funny that you think 2000s tween shows from Nickleodeon and Disney Channel amount to the golden age of television😂
U forgot the the great ghostwriter that was the pbs kids show I loved growing up it did get a late 90’s revival during one of cbs’s last versions of their Saturday morning lineups but i alway looked forward to the new episodes during the pbs years of the show but we never got an answer to watch the entity nicknamed as ghostwriter was
Great video! I grew up on pbs back in the 80s & 90s, and I’m proud to say my kids have now too. They were part of the late 2000s - early 2010s era. I didn’t hear you mention my favorite childhood pbs show - Ghostwriter. I remember having recorded vhs tapes of the show for years. I even brought them with me to college, lol! I’ve watched some of the reboot on Apple TV+, but it’s just not the same. I would LOVE if they’d bring back Reading Rainbow. Kids today aren’t reading nearly enough!!
Funny story about shari lewis actually it was the year before she passed and she was doing a signing at a mall, my mother was heavily pregnant with my brother (little did we know the next day he was born) but still took me, the line was SUPER long to meet her so they had a lamb chop walk around character taking pictures with kids, so somewhere in my parents house is that picture.
I watched PBS Kids in the 2000s and early 2010s, and I remember watching Sesame Street, Arthur, Clifford the Big Red Dog, Between the Lions, Sid the Science Kid, DragonTales(watched on PBS Kids Sprout), George Shrinks, Sagwa the Chinese Siamese Cat(also watched on PBS Kids Sprout), Cyberchase, Liberty's Kids(watched on RUclips and Cookie Jar TV on CBS), etc.
I think you forgot to name a show that never aired again on PBS. Theodore Tugboat. Among other PBS shows I was raised on were Arthur, Clifford the red dog, Wishbone, Between Lions, Zoom, Thomas and friends, Jay Jay jetplane, Mr. Roger's Neighborhood, Barney, Zoboomafoo, Bill Nye and Sesame Street were all the best. It made up my childhood. I loved PBS so much when I was in Preschool up until the 4th through 6th grade. I'd do anything to go back to those days again!
During the early to mid to reach to age 10, I remember watching this station. There's some I grew up a lot. As well as Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego. Lamb Chop, I've seen some from Kids Songs, Barney, Sesame Street, Mr. Rogers, Reading Rainbow, and Shining Time Station. For shows to be miss for others who grew up, to at least show the old ones to their kids today. I love from some of those, Cartoon Network, and Nickleodeon.
Anyone actually remember watching Dudley the Dragon? I forgot about the name of the show for years. All the kids told me it was "Peter and the Magic Dragon" but somehow I knew that wasnt right. I finally learned the name of the show in the year 2010 when I was in college.
Growing up in the DFW AREA with KERA in the 90s and 2000s was the best Arthur dragon tales Clifford wishbone and of course Sesame Street among others were all shows I loved growing up and some of them I still go back and re watch even today the only one I have no memory of is Cameron San Diego I mean my mom says I watched it but I don’t remember it I remember Lynn thigpenn better as Luna from bear in the big blue house and as a judge from law&order and speaking of judges I remember Paula poundstone as judge stone from science court so yeah so many memories
I was born in 1985 I miss lots of classic shows including from PBS being on a TV channel we have I know Mister Rogers Neighborhood has been known to be shown on PBS Kids but at 6:00 or 6:30 east time at night and not every episode in order and I know there's YT for Barney & Friends I watch that a lot and parts of episodes/movies on Bing but it'd be better on PBS Kids on DirecTV and I think Sesame Street is still shown but not what was shown in the 80s/90s which is what I'd like to come back thankfully there's vids of at least parts of it but again classic should be on DirecTV I sorta remember Shining Time Station and Reading Rainbow and Magic School Bus and Wishbone and Joy of Painting they all should come to PBS Kids on DirecTV I don't remember watching the show with the 'P' characters but I do remember the thing with the three 'P' characters and the 'P' dog at the end of shows.
I don't wanna sound like a broken record but: PBS Kids shows from the 1st NET Kids/PBS Kids show-Odd Squad: Golden PBS Kids shows from 2015-present: Generic I really hope you make an analysis on this.
They’ve got an actual Theodore Tugboat replica in real life. It used to be in Halifax but now it’s an AirBnB in Hamilton. Figured I’d mention that as that show was also aired during the PTV Park era.
PBS shows would teach you lessons to carry on throughout your life. That’s why I will always have them as No. 1 imo. Other networks weren’t teaching you life lessons the way PBS did and that’s facts. 2000-2007 was my era and it was epic. Thank you PBS Kids!
Also..... You and I BOTH share nearly the same PBS childhood, because I also remember watching the shows you brought up and talked about. (everyone else I came across, before you, is all "2000s pbs" childhoods)
I lived in Fort Worth, texas, so I always watched kera Channel 13 when I was a kid, so there was always something good on pbs. Even in the 2000s, it had good shows.
The 4th big family channel that I watched alongside Nickelodeon, Disney Channel and Cartoon Network. Arthur, Dragon Tales, ZOOM, Clifford the Big Red Dog, Thomas the Tank Engine, The Magic School Bus, Cyberchase, Between the Lions, Sagwa the Chinese Siamese Cat, 7 Little Monsters, George Shrinks, Liberty's Kids, Barney and Caillou.
PBS kids shows from my generation was during the late 2000s and early 2010s, include Sesame Street, Arthur, WordWorld, WordGirl, Barney, Fetch, Arthur, Mr. Rogers, Reading Rainbow, Martha Speaks and Thomas & Friends.
While the shows are iconic, I think the thing I remember the most is the amount of nightmares those animations between the shows gave me, especially the logo animations.
I mainly grew up watching the live action shows such as Sesame Street, Between the Lions, Zoboomafoo, Mister Rogers Neighborhood, and Reading Rainbow. I think the live action shows were much more appealing to me. Even Barney and Teletubbies had some value and charm to it.
Cyberchase, the Book of Virtues, Between the Lions, The Magic Schoolbus, Arthur, Redwall, and of course Liberty Kids. It might be my bias talking but when theses show went off it seemed that the quality of the shows dropped dramatically. But Molly of Denali fills me with hope!
I loved Mr Roger’s growing up and even today I miss him. I also loved and still love Sesame Street.i wish we as early childhood teachers could use some of Mr. Rogers and Sesame Streets teaching techniques.
Have you heard of a kids show costumed character that used to be on in the early 2000s. (Not sure if it’s PBS or WLIW21). The character is an orange animal (rabbit or kangaroo or something) in a green suit that hung with live action children and kids screamed his name and ran up to hug him (similar to Barney). At night, he talked with the Moon. And No it wasn’t bear in the big blue house.
I LOVE Your Vid On PBS Kids! First Off Not A Lot Of RUclips Vids Talk About PBS Kids! Second Those That DO Talk About It Tend To Skip The More "Deep Cut" Shows You Mentioned Like: Adventures In The Book Of Virtues, George Shrinks, Zoom, Puzzle Place, ETC #PBSKids #ViewersLikeYou 📺
I ONLY GREW UP oN 2000s berenstain bears between the lions Zoboomafoo Wild kratts clifford the big red dog liberty's kids dRAGON tALES Jakers and Worldgirl but i didn't like Cyberchase sid the science kid and jay jay the jet plane at all because they all gave me nightmares as a toddler.
What was that one show with that creepy "We're in the animal family" song? It was part of the Saturday morning block and was on at a super early time slot, I think it was on in the late 90s. There was another song about Owls having great big eyes and there were super condescending hosts a man and a woman who totally talked down to kids. "Look at the leopard do you see his spots?" Does anyone else know what I'm talking about? It's driving me crazy that I can't find anything about it. I'm starting to think maybe it didn't exist. There is another one that was on in the mid 90's that may or may not have been the same show with a creepy bunny puppet called Leelabee who had a garden
I love reading rainbow!!!? 🌈🌈🌈 And i love mr. Rogers neighborhood it was my favorite PBS kids shows!!!! ❤❤❤ And i love Cyber chase!!! And i love Arthur!!!!and i love Wishbone as well!!!! ❤❤❤❤ And i love Dragon tails!!!! And Clifford The Big Red Dog!!! And i love zoom!!! And i also love Between the Lions!! 😍😍😍
That's one show I did wash. It's teletubbies pbs kids I don't know, it cause I was a little kid. I was 10 years old. I was watching show Easy, I would live in Arizona at that time 1997-2006
Some of you might remember in 2021, i was attempting to make Nick Knacks style series on PBS. But truth is, i canceled it cause i didn't have the time to commit to such a huge project, and also i didn't wanna sit through stuff like Cailou or Teletubbies. so this vid is making up for that.

I loved PBS growing up. Too many of these shows aren't talked about enough.
I was born in 1999, so some of my PBS Kids memories were from the 2000s and onward. Martha Speaks, Ruff Ruffman and 2009's The Electric Company.
I love the old version of PBS Kids. It's the channel that I grew up with back in the 90s. Sabrina Griffin ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I remember seeing all the Great PBS Kids Shows Growing Up. My Local PBS Station is GBH 2
I never saw Groundling Marsh
I remember watching PBS Kids from Pre-K until third grade! Here is the list of my favorite PBS Kids shows ever made!:
Arthur, Curious George, Super Why!, WordGirl, Dinosaur Train, Wild Kratts, Martha Speaks, The Magic School Bus, Barney & Friends, Zoboomafoo, Between the Lions, Liberty's Kids, WordWorld, Sid the Science Kid, The Electric Company, and Maya & Miguel.
No Mr Rogers, huh?
@@andywinslow9638 Never heard of that show when I was little.
I use to watch PBS Kids when I was in grade school before and after school like watching magic school bus. Sesame Street. Wishbone Arthur. Barney. Etc
I remember some of the tv show although I didn't know about the game show Carmen sandiego are the science Guy.
I remember the magic School bus,Barney, I think kid sing, Arthur and sesame Street, and many others.
I sometimes wish I can go back as a kid and watch them all again 😊
I love Magic School Bus, Mr. Roger's Neighborhood, & Barney the Dinosaur and other pbs kids show! 😀
One PBS Kids show I wish everyone could experience is Super Why ❤
Teaching morals, and books
I remember watching this show constantly, or at least every chance I got. Red is my favorite
Also, the Kratt brothers actually got their own cartoon, Wild Kratts, anyone who's watched knows
I watched both of them, but yet, I stopped watching them for a little while (mostly super why)
This was my childhood in a nutshell. Thank you for highlighting it.
I could never forget the funding credit segments of most of the shows I've watched in the 2000s, especially in this intro 0:00. My local PBS station is KERA 13.
Barney & Friends was my morning show when I was in my single digits but when I was 7 or 8, ZOOM was my after school show
The magic school bus is my favorite show.
Oh man I loved PBS Kids when it was "PTV Park" back in the 90's and early 00's good old Dot and Dash. ❤
I totally remember some of these. My PBS affiliate is KETC-TV channel 9 in St. Louis and actually (I'm not sure if it's still running) but one of their digital subchannels had a network that showed all their current and some recurrent shows on it (known as Nine Kids).
PBS Kids and PBS GO! was serene and explored when I was a kid in the 2000's time :)
PBS 키즈와 PBS GO! 2000년대의 어린 시절은 고요하고 탐구적이었습니다 :)
My favorite shows was Between The Lions & Arthur
I grew up watching every PBS kids shows from the 90s, 2000s, and early 2010s by heart
Mr. Roger still airs on wgvk at 6 am on fir & sat
Loved PBS Kids! My favorites were Mr. Rogers, The Electric Company, Wordgirl, Fetch with Ruff Ruff man and Maya and Miguel when I was growing up.
I love the"P" pals, because they are the most important thing about the PBS program for the kids. Sabrina Griffin. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I remember “Storytime”. They had some of the big stars at the time making appearances to tell stories.
What are your thoughts on Between The Lions, Shining Time Station & Dragon Tales
@@colindykeman1697 Or even other teen sitcoms like Lizzie McGuire, That’s So Raven, Drake and Josh, and Zoey 101?
@@akrzton1Sorry, but the golden age of television was arguably the 80s-90s, not the 2000s and the golden age of music was definitely not the 2000s😂 Do yourself a favor and listen to music from the 80s. It's funny that you think 2000s tween shows from Nickleodeon and Disney Channel amount to the golden age of television😂
@@purplemist7 Yes, those time periods are good, too, but these sitcoms appealed to my age. Sitcoms went downhill in 2011.
Well Mr. 47 Cartoon guy have you seen the movie : Sesame Street presents: Follow that bird?
Ngl I wish PBS Kids would have more shows aimed at older kids nowadays (nothing wrong with the preschool shows though).
Me too.
The contribution of pbs station and the Gonzalez family and clan from viewers like you. Thank you for the great memories.
Reading Rainbow and Dragontales were also shows I was raided on too!
I remember Dudley the Dragon. I watched it when I was little.
@@LethalSaliva yeah it's extremely obscure. There isn't even a TV Tropes page for it yet.
TV is a far cry from what it used to be
Reading Rainbow introduced me to LeVar Burton, who turned me into a Trekker. 🛸👍🏽👍🏽
I don't wanna sound like a broken record but:
PBS Kids shows from the 1st NET Kids/PBS Kids show-Odd Squad: Golden
PBS Kids shows from 2015-present: Generic
I really hope you make an analysis on this.
My kids liked PBS Kids I remember watching Sesame Street, Reading Rainbow and The Electric Company on Channel 13 it was good son.
I've stayed here only for your opinion of "Clifford, the Big Red Dog".
Childhood Memories.
I really miss those days 😪 After the 90s, the world has never been the same again.
After the 2000s, the world has never been the same again.
Why do you hate the 2000s so much?
I was a kid in the 80s, so I watched 321 contact, Seame Street, and shows like the letter people.
One of my Disney 100 Jeopardy videos explains my history of kids’ television very well.
Remember the old days when I was younger
I didn't know John Ritter was Clifford the Big Red Dog. Great video
I loved PBS when I was little
Awesome video most of these pbs & pbs kids shows I grew up with the p-pals were the best along with Barney & many others 😊❤️
I Made Me @lulaloopsey With This Show That Made Me Sience November With That Edge
Lamb chop was my favorite growing up
Have you heard of a kids show costumed character that used to be on in the early 2000s.
I think that was for rootle
@@TheBasherShow it wasn’t animated. It was live action. And he wore a green tuxedo or suit

Wow! I forgot about some of these shows (like Sagwa for instance)! Great video! 👍
I love Maya and Miguel
I love The Magic School Bus. I used to rent the tapes at Blockbuster
I would check them and Reading Rainbow out at my local library alongside the books when i was younger.

It got big and safe up to now.
this is amazing bro ❤
This is nostalgic:)
Daycare is always right about Barney and Bill Nye was originally in junky syndication.
Yes yes yes all the nostalgic feels 😭
PBS Kids and PBS Kids Go! was goated boss I miss Maya and Miguel, Seasme Street, Arthur, Dragon Tales, Reading Rainbow and all that kind of stuff.

That's one show I did wash. It's teletubbies pbs kids I don't know, it cause I was a little kid. I was 10 years old. I was watching show Easy, I would live in Arizona at that time 1997-2006
