- Sunny Saturday of Eastbourne Airbourne Airshow 2024 saw the return of the RAF Typhoon Moggy display jet and another great performance from Flt Lt David "Turbo" Turnbull.

I love it that there's no mistaking when the Typhoon arrives! Silly maybe, but my favourite bit is always the end of the stalling speed pass, when the pilot opens up the taps 😎

I watched this from Beachy head yesterday… The old planes are magnificent, but the wind was so hard we couldn’t really hear them… However, the Typhoon ripped the sky in half, sounded louder than thunder.
Typhoon made up for it ;) I watched it go in from Bexhill beach

I went with my friends on Saturday and my friend Randy was like "bloody hell!" When the Typhoon came out of nowhere and OMG the whooshing sound it made as it flew over the pier was like something out of a WW2 movie
Nice one. The Typhoon sure does make some good sounds if you're in the right place at the right time

Not quite as low as the Blue Angels sneak pass but still fun to watch!

Be nice if they did a low low pass like the Blue Angels sneak flyby to end the display, then bank over the crowd like a USAF "dedication pass"

Is the bar on the pier still called “bar copa”. We used to watch the murmaration of starlings as the sunset 🎉
Don't think so no.. Seen the starlings all congregate, quite a sight at times
