I will go shoping now to buy the ingredients for a "Commander". Having this drink and say "Cheers" to Gary seems to be an adequat goodbye. It was so nice to watch Gary and you talking in such a relaxed atmosphere.
What a lovely insight into what an absolutely humble, interesting and fun guy that this amazing singer and musician was. No wonder Ian Paice and many others have commented on the sadness that they will never see or talk to this lovely man ever again, let alone hear him sing. The music and that incredible soulful voice will always thankfully reappear at the flick of a switch...Thank you Pattie.
Smart, sophisticated, artistic, beautiful, and a good cook! You are a true heartbreaker! Great podcast. Do you know any dishes from your days in Africa?
I love the concept. Particularly fun hearing Mr. Brooker after all these years. He was a cool older gentleman. And, of course, you look wonderful Pattie. Stay happy and healthy.

Gary has a great gravelly velvety voice.I am listening to Mozart so that my brain is fresh for Sunday. How does Gary manage to remember over 60 years ago these things.Stirred not shaken we are all Crazy Now 😉🤣 .
Pattie, just discovered your YT Channel and podcast....so great! As far as Gary's drink, it sounds like the "Dark ’n Stormy? Did anyone catch the entire cocktail recipe'?

I believe there's footage of The Commander in Tokyo, uncharacteristically disheveled onstage.. it might still be on youtube. RIP.
Pattie- what is your favorite cocktail?

Watching this just a week or so after Gary Brooker's passing. No surprise, I am in mourning. Thank you, though, for this. He made me smile.
I love Procol Harum, and Beatles too, cheers 🥂

RIP GARY BROOKER. WHAT A PROGRESSIVE LEGEND.
Whiter Shade Of Pale was the song of the sixties in many respects Gary’s vocals immense love that John Lennon was blown away with it
