I love this guy. He makes me laugh. He has a good sense of humor. He is down to earth and kind of fun loving. He has a beautiful family. I get where he is coming from with regards to how divorce impacted him. Wish him nothing but the best for him and his family.
Okay so Kristy has to put up with Bret's antics, but she's not exactly suffering. So far I've seen her shop, get her nails done, workout with a personal trainer, and do more shopping.
If he hasn't married you in 16 years maybe it was time to put up a ultimatum hun. She is worth more dealing with a aging rockstar who wants his youth and his popularity back like it was in the late 80's.
Maybe she is saying she wants to be married when in fact, she prefers to not be married. 16 years is a long time and that makes it seem like they both have marriage “issues.”
My parents went through the same thing with falling out of love. Mom had boyfriend's, dad was lost and basically killed himself drinking at my house. So now I'm forever messed up from their marital problems.

Or yall could stop using your parents failed marriages as a crutch. Its not anyone else's fault and shouldn't negatively effect anyone else. Get some therapy and get over it. Sounds harsh but its true. People shouldn't have to deal with your/his commitment issues for life, yo-yoing back and forth, no stability or security for their entire relationship because of some childhood shit. And I don't buy it in his case. A "life coach" isn't a licensed therapist. They don't even need any credentials to call themselves one. Its a cop out. The truth seems to be that he wants to keep the option open while women were still throwing themselves at him. But that won't last forever. She pushes him away because she doesn't want to go all in just for him to pull the "divorced parents" card and leave her again. His parents were/are alcoholics. It has nothing to do with marriage.

@Native Nfree they were definitely not together. He wasn't staying at the ROL house like they portrayed but he wasn't with Kristi at the time either. He would go to a hotel or back to his house when he had the kids. At least from what the interviews said.
