On my second cruise with NCL we received a complimentary bottle of champagne in our room. I loved the fact we didn't need a ridiculous amount of points to receive something free from the Cruise line.
We are Platinum and even when we were “just Gold”, I LOVED everything we received, even the Bottle of Water. I appreciate the priority boarding, priority customer service line, bottle of water, I don’t use the laundry service … it’s a personal thing, I don’t do pedicures either 😂 … my daughter loves it. Honestly, we only cruise Carnival because we are Platinum and getting closer to Diamond; I don’t want to be a “first timer” on another cruise line.
You can get many of the perks of platinum and diamond for around $60. Faster to the Fun.
I am diamond and my daughter is platinum and don’t get any specials other than cheap gifts, parties and $25 to gamble. I want to get offers like frequent gamblers get such as suites. etc

Love this segment. And yes I've used the loyalty program. It's fun when I travel with another couple and they are red card holders. I love the expression on their face when I go to the head of the line.

We're platinum with carnival but, it's worth nothing. We went from getting speakers, luggage bricks, hats, towels backpacks to key chains😅🤣 norwegian gave us champagne the first cruise

This is exactly the Info I was just researching. I just got off of the Mardi gras, this was my 3rd 7 day cruise. I was wondering if I will be gold next time or the following cruise. I guess being that I have 21 pts I will be red a fourth time and then move onto gold on my 5th 7 day cruise?

I disappointed when Carnival changed their's VIFP Loyalty program to make it harder to get to the silver level, back in the early 2000s. I don't live near a port, so it's harder for me to fly in for cruises.

Carnival should change the arcade deal for everyone for platinum - diamond guests. ( not for kids )
