DDP has DEFINITELY grown on me .. true class , the way he gave respect to Sean. Sean has come so far . And I truly love Sean Strickland. No matter what , Sean is forever a champion! So few can say that . And I feel like it could have gone either way due to the fact no damage on the takedowns and how quickly Sean got up. Takedowns none the less were the deciding factors and honestly nice to see they actually counted as they should regardless of what happened after. A takedown IS a takedown. Hats off to BOTH champions. BOTH men brought it and looking forward to watching them both fulfill their destinies ☔️

Kinda sucks that it was so close. I just know all the casual fans and haters will be complaining, given the controversial nature of Sean and the fact that we know Dana wants to have a major event in South Africa. DDP needed a knockout to shut up the haters, but I'm just waiting for enough authoritative figures to point out the facts. This man fought extremely smart. For a moment I thought he was going to just brawl, but the intention and clear strategy is what led to this narrow win. Sean didn't double down on what worked and that cost him.

I like both of them...I think DuPlessis edging it was the correct result. I think Strickland felt the power from the third round on and he was hesitant to commit to the exchanges and Dricus just outworked him.
