One other interesting option I didnt see him run is Cyberse Quantum Dragon. You make it the same way as Wind Pegasus, except instead of making it before Templar, you make it after Templar revives 3 (You have to perform the 2nd Infant combo). This ends your board with a 4K arrival backed by Quantum, and forces your opponent to target it with both attacks and effects, which means they cannot immediately run over Arrival, and instead must crash into Quantum. Except, quantum bounces the first thing it combats, so that means the opponent must both kick into quantum /and/ negate it, or waste their removal on it, which you can interrupt with the level 6 ignister.
The reason many @Ignister players don't use Quantum is because 1. The combo to make it hard loses to Nib 2. Wind Pegasus does a similar thing without having to be attacked, and can work with any card you control being destroyed, even backrow 3. The ED space is kinda tight
@@kisplaymaker I like to play quantum dragon instead of light dragon (what most people play) alongside wind pegasus. That way if u open a combo piece and any extender (reborn, faighting spirit, another name, two combo pieces so u can use pikari to search reborn etc) then you can end on 4k arrival + quantum + pegasus in grave. This way they have to crash into quantum and get bounced AND if they destroy anything you can bounce again with wind pegasus. And to make sure I dont lose to nib i run 3 crossout XD
@@TopDeckKaloy I assume this is the mathmech combo right? If so, most of the time you only able to make 3k arrival. There some decks that can easily top this and destroy arrival by battle, for example decks that run honest/dark honest, or hero with honesty neos 2nd, opponent can also easily remove vanity by destroying AI Land on the field. AI Land always left on field after combo, and it's really easy to get rid of it
ai meet you is still 4k arrival you ai meet you for achichi, summon search pikari, add reborn off pikari, use the reborn after you summon wiccid, make splash mage & add reborn off doyon, summon bururu dump doyon, splash revive doyon then synchro for pegasus, bururu revive doyon then you can activate doyon to add achichi, make templar as usual make arrival and set reborn, then in their turn reborn for bururu to send danmari

He's a really good player too! He popped off during the Extravganza's on pure Prank-Kids quite a few times. I think you can def find a substitute for Tactics, but they are just really good this format especially
It's fun, especially with no Maxx C in TCG format But sadly it's quite easy to stop the deck. Nibiru, Called on Pikari/Aichichi (the one that was normal summoned), negate the 2nd Infant (since it'll be useless to negate the 1st one if he have another copy of AI Land of terra) For going 2nd, well, kaiju'll solve all your problem Also, don't forget the Danmari that was dumped by Bururu. Most people forget about that one in the GY and get their cards negated out of nowhere ^^
@@NeoAxiom I didn't mean to discredit the deck. I just pointed out the flaws so others will have something to consider before they get too hyped and buy the cards, especially since it's a WCQ winning deck. Also, not all decks have same solutions. For example the current meta Swordsoul-Tenyi which can establish its full board without using normal summon. Aside from timing when to use Ash, you need quickly and carefully use Nib/Veiler before it can establish Baronne or Chaofeng on the board. There's also synchro deck in OCG format that utilize Prufinesse+Blackout to summon new Power Tool Dragon, equip bamboos from the the deck and lock opponent's main phase 1 using burning bamboo. Your only solution is either veiler, impermanence, ghost ogre or backrow removal. The latter two usually find it's place in side deck, so unless you prepared in advance, finger cross you can draw veiler/imper right away when going 2nd. My previous comment is just so other YGO players who watch this vid will not recklessly buy cards cuz they just see it's good point without knowing some of its downside.
I love fire Phoenix especially if you got jammer and they solemn you or something also I love running double tai strike cuz then the base ignisters ram into these stupid high attack beat sticks and just survive the clash destroy the enemy and burn them for a shit ton. I know these cards aren’t great when you want to get arrival but I don’t like getting arrival out turn one cuz of kaijus and it’s rlly hard to do anything after getting arrival out.
You don't like getting out Arrival (the card that makes this deck competitively viable cos Towers) because you are simply afraid that your opponent has an out and has drawn the out. Then what end board would you even end on that doesn't just kill you?
@@fumihiro8564 at the time I had a terrible streak of my opponent having kaijus (5-6 games in a row) so I just went second a few times and it worked out quite well, possibly cuz it was lower in terms of rank and they didn’t set up a powerful floodgate/omni negate board. Now I just do the vanity thing with arrival which suffers from eldlitch of I don’t have another extender but it’s worked out.

You can actually boost quantum effectiveness by using gatchiri. Use gatchiri eff on quantum and you'll have an unaffected-bounce-target protection
