I've been a drummer for 15 years. 7 yrs as a guitarist, now I understand what it means to write the perfect part for a song, to fit in well, to play the atmospheric tones. It's rush songs like this one that reaffirm to me what it means to be an all around amazing musician, and i mean that from the writing stages to the performances. Lifeson is amazing at what he does. Sad that he often gets pushed to the side while drummers love Neil and bassist love geddy. Lifeson's tones and wiriting = gold

My favorite song from G.U.P., maybe because the guitar is more present. I didn't dislike Geddy's experimentations wwith the synth, but I like better the older albums, and the sound of this song reminds me of them

That opening slightly delayed palm muted riff is just the fucking coolest. I can listen to it over and over and have. 😀❤️Thank you Alex for the music of my life, couldn’t have been any other band .

I agree the solo is epic, I think the main riff is very under appreciated.. it's so simple but intoxicating.

I love Alex's solo, its freaking awesome. How did this not ever hit #1? The thumbs down are (C)rap lovers. Why do they come to a web site that says Rush ? I'm 66 years old and this is what got me through the 80's and 90's and I still love them today, sorry for all the haters that don't know anything about music. Power Windows is my favorite Rush Album. (Yes, I have it on vinyl). These guys have probably donated more money to charity than the entire Democratic party, which is pretty strange as they are from Canada.
