------------------------------------
Movie Summary:
After a construction crew accidentally cracks open a gigantic egg that has imprisoned evil maniac Ivan Ooze (Paul Freeman) for centuries, the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers prepare to face their most formidable foe yet. The vengeful Ooze kills their elderly mentor, Zordon (Nicholas Bell), and with him the source of the Rangers' power. Stunned by Zordon's death, the Rangers struggle to contain Ooze without the help of the Zords, the giant mechanical robots they have grown to depend upon in battle.

Yes... Kimberly was everyone's crush back in the day.
The first yellow ranger Thuy Trang was my #1, but then they couldn't have an Asian yellow ranger in the movie, lol.
I had a crush on this yellow ranger
oh yes
@KBM515 alright!!!
Both women are beautiful!
Funny bit about Paul Freeman (Ivan Ooze): While shooting this movie, he broke his ankle and had to be rushed to the hospital quick. They took off his costume but couldn't remove his make up and prosthetics since the process would take hours. So when he got to the hospital, he was in plain clothes but in full makeup. People would look at his purple head and literally go "Holy s**t!! What the f**k happened to this guy?"
I almost want a channel to do a "top ten actors who went to the emergency room while in costume"
@@kyleellis1825I’d love to see that. There’s so many out there like Stallone during First Blood walked in looking pretty bad from makeup and asking for an aspirin.
@@bidwell13 Yeah, I think Michael Keaton had to go in his Beetle Juice makeup too.
What I love is Ivan's line about the Brady Bunch reunion was improved and they loved it so much they kept it.
Fun fact: the music score for this movie was composed by the same composer who did the music score for the Brandon Lee movie "The Crow." so if that scene where Ooze creates the bird soldiers seems kind of dark and gothic, that's why. the composer's name is Graeme Revell. He's from New Zealand.
I noticed the similar sound last time I researched this movie and had to go look it up and see it was the same composer which was super cool
That's a really cool fun fact! I was curious about that piece of music for years!
He also did the score for child's play 2 and bride of Chucky
In THIS movie - with THIS cast - Tommy, Rocky AND Adam are all very accomplished at martial arts.
When I was a kid I was obsessed with the color red so the red ranger (Jason) was my favorite. Not to throw shade at Steve Cardenas who played Rocky because as the red ranger he was ok. As fans we knew little to nothing about Rocky. Out of all the episodes in seasons 2 & 3 Rocky only gets 1 character focused episode about him and it's called "Rocky just wants to have fun". Although Rocky does become a much better character in power ranger zeo when he becomes the blue zeo ranger.
I actually met both actors who play their respective characters on the show (Cool guys imo). Really sucks that Rocky didn’t get character development when he replaced Jason, but he did grown some depth in Zeo.
he had much more focus and development in Zeo
No, Rocky had two episodes in season 3 that focused on him. The one where he was a teacher for a day and the one where everyone is turned into footballs.
@@anthonyvasquezactor right. I forgot about that one.
The problem with Rocky is at the start he tried to be too much like Jason, as the series went on he found his own thing & became a well liked Ranger in his own right.
I remember getting the vhs for Christmas when it came out. Even now, I can recite several lines and songs for just about every scene. That goes to tell you just how religiously I watched and rewatched and rewatched this movie growing up.
Me too lol was quoting movie in video lol
SAME HERE When I USED TO GET MY HAIRCUT BY MY MOMS Boyfriend At the Time she had to Turn it on to make mhe Sit Down "That Alpha Song was MY Shii"
@@mrflickswatches Billy and Kimberley are real friends who go on each other family vacation's the others still see each other at Power Ranger conventions
Ivan Ooze was played by an actor named Paul Freeman
The reason Tommy looked different from the other rangers as the White Ranger is because the suit is from a different Super Sentai Called Dairanger. Super Sentai is the Japanese Series Power Rangers is based on
Well, there’s that, but also as a sixth ranger his suit is more ornate than the rest - even with the Zyuranger green suit he had the armored bits to set him apart from the rest
Saban not using Dairanger outfits (except the white Kibaranger) was big mistake in my opinion. They wanted to keep Power Rangers in their original Zyuranger suits but then realised it got boring so they only decided to add the newer suits after the Dairanger season. And they also messed up turning the ninja rangers into aliens and making them into a very short mini season.
Paul Freeman was also Belloq in Raiders of the Lost Ark. That's the only other movie I know him from but that's a fun fact for ya 😂.
@@DraconasTenZHG TBH I kind of prefer it the way they handled it. As much as I love EVERYTHING about Dairanger, it probably would have felt super jarring if they went from being themed around prehistoric animals to traditional chinese martial artists all of a sudden, and the way they handled the change in zords - with them not originally being attached to the MM powers - I feel worked well enough.
I won't defend having them EXPLICITLY undergoing ninja training for new powers and still not getting the Kakuranger suits, though.
The CGI might be antiquated by today's standards, but this movie is one of my favorites from when I was a kid. The puns were cheesy, but funny. (One of my favorites being "Talk about a splitting headache.") I would LOVE to have a wearable replica of Tommy's Ranger and Ninjetti suits....but made to look as if he stayed the Green Ranger.
Years from now we will say that about 2022 cgi
Agreed but even for 1995 standards, the CGI was not good but that was down to budget.
Have a nice trip, see yah next fall.
Another one of the reasons this group of Rangers was so loved is because Billy helped design quite a bit of the mundane technology they use. There was their car: the Radbug that they used to get to the command center for a while; Billy also created their communicator devices and eventually upgraded them to include the teleporter capabilities for emergencies. Generally the Morphing Grid was used to power teleportation though.
Honestly, while I love this film, it also had alot of behind the scenes trouble, mainly because the pervious director they had didn't have a clue as to what Power Rangers was, nor did he get the suits right and often classed with Saban (the parent Company) over the project.
Thankfully Saban managed to get the movie back on Track.
What also bums me out, was how the original season 1 trio, Walter Jones (Black), Thuy Trang (Yellow), & Austin St. John (Red) never made a cameo in this film after they walked away from Power Rangers due to Saban's Very Low Budget...they hardly got paid for their work. And honestly the cast was what Sold the Power Rangers, not just the suits and gear from the Japanese footage.
Thankfully both Walter and Austin got a chance to make their presence count during season 2 before they stepped away for good.
But the tragic thing about all this, is that Thuy Trang, died in the early 2000s. And its seriously sucks. Even though her role in Power Rangers wasn't very strong, she still brought representation to her support role, and was great foil for Bully (David Yost/Blue). It sucks how this all happened. But at least all these actors know that the fans were always around.
I do appreciate that Conventions around America really do help in supporting their favorite actors.
There’s a mid credit scene that is pretty funny. Also the party at the end wasn’t just for the end of the movie, it was also the wrap up party for shooting the movie.
Adam was my favorite. He was a low key jokester, super quiet but grew a lot as a ranger. He made the frog cool lol
After being a ranger Adam became a Shinigami, Exorcist, Demon Emperor, Info Broker, an Autobot, Persona user and so much more. 😂
@@octoniko yes lol definitely quite the resume
My favorite too ❤
Rocky and Adam was my favorites I always thought they're was hot.
Let's not forget that Johnny was voicing alot of anime characters
Tommy was always my favourite especially as the green ranger, his debut as green ranger and running all the other power rangers fade was my favourite moments (most favourite moment was Jason going you think your tough take me on and Tommy just throws his dagger at him lol)
Man, I wish I can meet Jason David Frank. He's a legend.😭
Sad he passed away
@@crimsonknight7011 No he didnt
@@SavageTyler91_aka_AlwaysNerdy cries
@@itsClaptrap I had forgotten about this comment. This hurts to see.
Here’s some fun fact leading up to the MMPR movie and the production of the movie, back in Season 2 Lord Zedd was a very cool and intimidating villain taking over from Rita, the reason why Lord Zedd and Rita are happily married (they make a great couple as villains) is mostly cause of soccer moms complaining about Lord Zedd. Lord Zedd was very scary back then but as a kid he wasn’t scary at all LOL. Jason David Frank who famously plays Tommy Oliver lost his Green Ranger power in the Green No More saga/part, JDF almost got replaced in the show when the White Ranger came in, Brad Hawkins if I’m not mistaken from VR Troopers another Haim Saban show like Power Rangers was going to play the White Ranger role but fans wanted Tommy back and the directors/producers listened to the fans and JDF/Tommy came back. Also sadly MMPR lost lots of viewers is because of the characters of Red Ranger/Jason Lee Scott played by Austin St. John, Yellow Ranger/Trini Kwan played by Tuai Trang (however you spell it) and Black Ranger/Zack Taylor played by Walter Jones. Those three left around the middle part of season two but they left earlier at the time, you can obviously see stunt doubles of them appearing in episodes meaning the actors wasn’t there cause they we’re on strike cause of how much they get payed doing the show which led them to leave the show and eventually replaced by their respective counterparts Rocky (Steve Cardenas), Aisha (Karen Ashley) and Adam (Johnny Young Bosh).
Y’all should watch the 2017 power rangers reboot film she’ll love that one 🔥🔥🔥
We are !
@@mrflickswatches HELL Yess!! I’m so excited
@@mrflickswatches I am super excited as well!
Maybe watch the Power Rangers Turbo movie first. Awesome reaction by the way.
Bill is and will always be my favorite MMPR ranger.
Fun fact: the actor who played as Billy was a gymnast for years before joining the show. Also all of the rangers did all their own stunts.
he was also taylor lautner's martial arts teacher wasn't he?
@@JOTennisVid I’m not sure if he was then that’s dope
So was Kimberley a gymnast i mean
@@johnny9000 Yes I believe so.
HOLY SHIT the nostalgia when i saw this on my feed! great idea reacting to this classic
You gotta go back and watch Season 2 and put some respect on Adam’s name. Various rangers from MMPR through Time Force did Martial Arts. Adam is honestly a better fighter than Tommy I always felt, both elite don’t get me wrong. He’s so fast and precise. Johnny Yong (Adam’s actor) never felt confident in his acting but always tried his absolute best at the fight scenes. Which is why his fights were always so damn good.
Also another fun fact, kinda. Adam’s Actor in an interview said he was suppose to have way more fight scenes in the movie (assuming because they had just swapped the main 3 actors for the new 2 actors in season 2) but apparently another ranger actor kinda complained basically so most of Adam’s fight scenes were given to another ranger. Many say it was Tommy who complained which going based off all the spotlight on him (which honestly is no surprise, he’s the main ranger to many) but other say it was Billy’s actor who complained but who knows. Johnny didn’t say any names.
J oh fully agree 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼💯💯💯😀
@@camachpower5304 wow. Interesting
Johnny also did most of his own suit work and stunts because his stunt double broke his leg during production.
Most of the actors from MMPR are still in contact and they're still friends. Billy and Kimberly are close friends, and everyone always ends up meeting each other at conventions.
Sky diving was actually skydiving with stunt doubles however Jason David Frank who played Tommy Oliver now does skydive. Most if not all the original rangers are still friends and see each other at conventions
Yeah, it's pretty obvious to the fans who watch a few years worth of convention videos, which actors are estranged from the rest. If they have a reason for not being at a con, the other actors explain for them.
The actors who are estranged... No one knows enough to even provide an excuse. The Dino Thunder team has pretty much walked away from power rangers. Only White really goes to cons anymore (REd and Yellow have vocally seperated themselves from the franchise).
I watched this movie so much that I had dreams about it back in the day.
Tommy (Green/White) was my favorite Ranger. The actor who plays Tommy is a 8th degree black belt in Shotokan, a black belt in Taekwondo, Judo, and Wado-Ryu. He has a Purple belt in BJJ and has a Ajarn Degree in Muay Thai.
Childhood favorite movie. Unfortunately
Tommy died recently, November 19, 2022, RIP Jason David Frank.
Also, Dulcea was the most stunning woman in this movie (Gabrielle Fitzpatrick).
The little kid is Jamie Croft
The original red ranger Jason was a real martial artist
R.I.P. Jason David Frank🕊
This was one of my favorite movies growing up. I always wanted to be the red ranger of course. Lol
Dulcea was originally played by Mariska Hargitay, but for some reason they cut her parts out and re-shot with the actress that made it into the final movie. There are some pics of her online on set in the Dulcea costume.
Gabrielle Fitzpatrick was cast first but she was diagnosed with an ovarian cyst and had to have surgery. They hired Mariska to replace her and she filmed some scenes before being fired.Gabrielle had recovered by this point and she got the role back. We'll never know for sure why Mariska was fired. It was either because Gabrielle got better or according to Mariska it was because she went home for christmas because they kept her on hold a lot.
I remember this movie!!! I love power rangers specially when I was little. I thought I just imagined or thought this existed but it didn’t actually. The first time I saw this was when I was at one of my best friends house and it was on Netflix if I remember correctly and that was like in 2011 or 2012. I’ve tried looking for this movie before but could never find it that’s why I thought I just made it up. The only scene I remember is the part with the eggs being found by the power rangers and the egg getting cut open or something. It’s a good movie. I remember always jumping off the arm rest of my couches and onto the floor and pretending to be a power ranger obviously I pretended to be the pink ranger since pink is my favorite color. But if the show didn’t have a pink ranger the whatever ranger is a girl was my favorite, because it taught me that us girls can do anything we set are minds to even if people say we can’t do something because we’re a girl. Anyways love the videos! You two do an amazing job!
Me too
Could you react to Turbo: a power rangers movie next ?
Tommy/Jason David franks & Jason/ Austin St John were both martial artists during their time as Rangers. Zack was a very good hip hop dancer so they incorporated that into his own personal style of fighting. Billy And Kimberly are both accomplished Gymnasts. In MOST of the Power Rangers shows the cast have some athletic background or other; whether it be martial arts or gymnastics or even dancing. Most are very athletically capable.
Been watching power rangers for 29 years and can't wait for the 30th anniversary next year
This was my favourite movie as a kid and it still is to this day, probably because of nostalgia but I don't care, I love it haha.
Not watched the whole thing but just as a heads up "Tommy" AKA Jason David Frank is not the only martial artist on the show. Before him the original Red Austin St John and Black Walter Jones were both legit martial artists and on this cast both the new Red and Black were crazy skilled too. Pink and Blue were both high level gymnasts/acrobatics.
Sadly as I recall David Yost( the blue ranger) left the series by literally just walking off set and never returning without a word due to some harsh bullying behind the scenes from a lot of crew( I don't think he ever claimed from any of the cast) because he was gay and back then treatment of gay people was terrible
Small edit: the actors for Billy and Kimberly have done a few podcasts together in recent years so there is that
David was harrased by the crew/writers/directors/producers. JDF, Johnny, and Steve all did a bit of teasing/bullying. David made it clear it was nowhere near the same degree as what he got from the crew and both Johnny and Steve stopped after becoming friends with David.
JDF just teased/harrased everyone on set and even locked Johnny on top of a moving car on the freeway (after convincing Johnny to climb over the roof of the car, he locked the windows.).
Ivan was played by Paul Freeman, who also played the main villain in Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Tommy as green ranger was always more iconic. But him getting a new suit was certainly an amazing moment of childhood.
Of the actors in this movie, Jason David Frank (Tommy), Jonny Yong Bosch (Adam), and Steve Cardenas (Rocky) were all martial artists before becoming power rangers. Amy Jo Johnson (Kimberly) and David Yost (Billy) were both gymnasts, and I haven't really been able to find out too much about Karan Ashley (Aisha) as far as her physical background, but I think she might have had a bit of dance experience. I know the rule for most of the Zordon era of power rangers was in order to be cast you had to have either a background in Martial Arts, Gymnastics, or Dance. Of the 3 rangers they replaced, 2 were martial artists (Astin St. John played Jason and was a black belt in Karate I think, and Thuy Trang played Trini and was a black belt in Shaolin Kung Fu) while the 3rd, Walter Emanuel Jones who played Zack, was a dancer.
Walter was also a low level belt from when he was younger if I remember correctly. I think he was a yellow belt before he went all in on dance.
Don't forget Gabrielle Fitzpatrick, who played Dulcea.
RIP Jason David Frank
This movie was my life growing up. I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve watched this movie. I was born in 1990 so of course my first love in life was power rangers.
Screaming yeeeessss!!! Love y’all channel I tell you my childhood was just affirmed! Lol 🙌
I became too old for these shows so long ago that I've basically completely removed them from my conscious mind...but if I see this, I still remember the lines well and somehow, the first morphing scene is still cool to me.
And DAMN, now that I'm a man I can really respect the abs on Dulcea
There actually WAS a Gold Ranger in Zeo (Season 4). And a Silver Ranger showed up two seasons later. So that kid could well have been a prophet.
This movie blew my mind! Cus it was the time time I remembered a tv I’d run home just to watch was having a movie made for it … that excitement hit me like. Ton Of bricks, before the Rugrats movie or Good burger I had Mighty Morphin Power Rangers 😁🥰
Also Tommy was my favorite and also Kimberly was my first crush 🥰
Fun Fact : the Black Ranger went on to be the Voice Actor for Ichigo Kurosaki from Bleach and is now the current Voice Actor for Broly. He's also keeping his role as Ichigo for the new Bleach 1000 year blood war arc. :)
And can you please pray 🙏🏻 for my family my dad has pneumonia 💉🫁 and my mom has nose 👃 issues and her taste 👅 but I think they pretty much recovered ❤️🩹 for the most part anyway and can you please pray 🤲 for me and everyone I know to live longer and achieve all of our life goals (that’s not sinful and/or disrespectful of course) please
🙏🏻👍✝️⛪️☦️🕊💒⛑🏥👼😇😌🐠🔔🏞🌇🌠🌌🕍☮️🔯🕎✡️🙏🏻
I even remember watching this at the cinema when it came out, sooooo good!!!
I watch it in the cinema. Too
Kimberly was also my crush. Tommy is my favourite ranger. Jason David Frank who plays Tommy and Steve Cardenas who plays Rocky both are trained Martial Artists.
Every Power Ranger has to have either a martial arts, athletics, or gymnastics background in order to audition for the role. Even Billy's actor is physically on par with the rest of the Rangers, it's just that most times it's hidden under overalls and glasses to make him look more nerdy.
Austin St. John (Jason - OG Red Ranger) also does martial arts. I'm not sure if he does MMA like JDF. Austin and Jason were both my favorite.
Kimberly's comment about the "nice stereo" is a call back to the pilot episode of the tv series where she makes a similar comment when entering the Pterodactyl Zord.
Tommy and Adam are martial artists, Kimberly and Billy are gimnasts. I have no idea about Rocky and Aisha.
the actor who played Ivon Ooze was Paul Freeman who played Rene Belloq in Raiders Of The Lost Ark RIP JDF Once a Ranger Always a Ranger
This was the very first movie I ever seen in theaters. Check out The Power Ranger Protection Program.
Jason David Frank, Johnny Yong Bosch and Steve Cardenas did martial arts in real life and the movie plus show while Amy Jo Johnson did gymnastics and I don't know about David Yost or Karan Ashley in real life
I wish they would re make the 1995 MMPR movie the CGI nowadays would make it incredible
Jason David Frank is the G.O.A.T and most recognizable Power Ranger of the Franchise.
I saw Mighty Morphin Power Rangers The Movie back in the day and i saw Saban's Power Rangers and i prefer MMPR and the team 2017
Fun fact: this was film in Bombo Quarry and Sydney, New South Wales, Australia and Paul Freeman as Ivan Ooze
As a kid, when the series first aired the blue ranger was my favourite.
The triceratops was my favourite dinosaur and I loved martial arts with the staff. That's why Donatello was my favourite TMNT 👍
When I first found out ivan was played By Paul Freeman, I was shocked. He was nothing like Beloc from Raiders of the Lost Ark. Really made me appreciate his acting more.
I remember not even being ten yet when the ranger hit USA TV, Japan built them up and USA took that and made this that was between 94-96? for the TV show. two of these people are not in the original 5 and tommy came later I think about a year before the movie.
Hi Mr and Mrs flicks my name is Jeff Martin from south bend in Tommy is my favorite mighty mophin power ranger. Please write me back Mr and Mrs flicks your friend Jeff Martin from south bend in
The song playing when the kids were partying is by a group called Shampoo that got their song selected because they were friends irl with Amy Jo Johnson (Kimberly)
Like many others, this movie was so damn cool when I was a kid. Iconic.
Edit: Paul Freeman put in work as Ivan Ooze!
I adore this movie as a kid back then
One fun fact is that every scene you see, at least in the show I don't know about the movie. Is footage from the Japanese version Super Sentai. They just reuse the fight footage for the American version. Japan was ok with it.
20:52 omg I forgot what great abs Dulcea (Gabrielle Fitzpatrick) has
Oh my god seeing this in theatre is still burned into my brain.the music.oh my god the music.i was 9 years old also in 1995🙂
Came to find a reaction to this because we just lost the GOAT white ranger RIP D:
paul freeman( Ivan Ooze) is from Raiders of the ark
Thanks !
Yes, vertical wind tunnels were a thing in 1995. The first commercial ones opened in Las Vegas and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee in 1982.
And the actor who portrayed Ivan Ooze was Paul Freeman. He also played the villain in Raiders of the Lost Ark.
My personal favorite was always Billy, because he was the one who was most like me. Socially awkward, dorkily dressed and really smart.
Really? I didn't know wind tunnels were a thing back in the early 90s. I'm a 90s baby, '93, and I thought they were relatively new, like... early 2000s new.
Yes there are several gold rangers. The first gold ranger appeared in Power Rangers Zeo which was the season after Mighty Morphin. It was an alien (played by real life triplets), but later on Jason returned to the show to become the gold ranger.
And then we have the RPM Gold/Silver twins, Samurai Gold, Dino Charge Gold, and Beast Morphers Gold.
Ivan ooze played by paul freeman and my fave was billy the blue ranger
well rita repulsa was stuck in a dumpster for 10 ooo years so she has more reason to be upset
If Jason trini and Zack didn't leave the show this movie would have been still good so I give it a B it has impact on me even though I seen it in the movies with my niece and sister
I remember going to the theater when I was 4 to see this, I'm 31 now. That's how much of an impression it made on me. To this day, my grandma still has a purple stain on her ceiling in her living room from my Ivan Ooze. This movie is so near and dear to me, it helped make me into the person I am today. 🤍❤💖💛💙🖤
Same age and I would sit at the top of my carpeted stairs with the skydiving scene on repeat (had to keep running over to rewind it and eventually wore out the tape.). I would shout what I thought to be cool catch phrases and then throw all 6 of my power rangers down the stairs.
Tommy's arm broke off and I glued in backwards by accident and Aisha got a cracked visor. The rest of them all looked like they had battle damage from all the scratches.
Tommy Oliver was, and will always will be the greatest Ranger of all times.
please react to super sentai
Jason the first red ranger becomes the gold ranger a year later when Tommy becomes the red ranger 😂
I wasn't really a fan of the power rangers and the reason i even knew about Power Rangers is because my brother always watched it on tv(it was his favorite) I am not quite sure if he saw any of the movies but watching your reaction brought that memory back for me
Next is the power ranger turbo the movie 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
i remmber watching mighty morphan power rangers the movie when i was a kid it was in cinma when i was kid and i use to go and go to see the film again again
Tommy is my fav but Jason does martial arts in real life Andros from power rangers space and a few more
Fun fact Ivan Ooze is played by the police officer who said to the Ranger's what are you kid's doing here 😁
He's actually played by Paul Freeman, the actor who played the Villain Belloq in Raiders of the Lost Ark
Adam is played by Jhonny Yong Bosch. He's a major voice actor now Mainly as Ichigo from bleach, and Vash from Trigun. And he is an accomplished martial artist.
Shout out the 2 black rangers Zack and Adam my 2 favorite and OG green ranger and white ranger tommy who also became a black ranger later ⚫️🔥🟢🔥⚪️
Tommy Actually has the distinction of having the most Ranger Forms
Green Ranger, White Ranger/White Ninja Ranger, Red Zeo Ranger, Red Turbo Ranger, Black Dino Thunder Ranger
Hope you guys react to the new power ranger movie
My favorite power ranger would be Tommy
As a fan that witnessed how all "Ranger-mania" begun, the only sin I've founded in this movie is that it was a child of it's time. I was five when the rangers started in my country (Spain), we never saw anything like that show before, and suddenly, this movie came out, and elevate the game up to eleven, showing us not what Power Rangers were, but what Power Rangers COULD be...Too bad the CGI at the end, but what the hell, I love this movie...... Is "B series"? Yes, but is the good type of "B series"
Also, personal recommendation: "Hercules: The legendary journeys" and "Xena: Princes Warrior".... 🖖
B-Movie refers to the budget of the movie. The studio has A-List projects the fully invest in and the B-Movies are the lower budget movies.
So Power Rangers is a B-TV Show. But it's an A-List/Blockbuster movie (They spent too much money to call it a B-Movie). Of course the graphics make it look like a B-Movie, because WOW did they age bad.
Every 90 kids first crush was Kimberly
Love this movie a lot, it's my childhood sweet memory.
It's always so sad to rewatch this because of the whole Billy situation. In case someone didn't know, he eventually left the show because he's gay and the crew and etc would all make fun of him and call him slurs. It led him to a dark phase in his life and all.
Not to mention also the subliminal racism that was happening. You had the black guy playing the black power ranger and the asian girl playing the yellow ranger I mean come on.
The black Ranger here went on to numerous lead roles in anime believe it or not
Kimberly/ Amy jo Johnson is my cousin
Kimberly was my favorite powerRanger
Anytime somebody refers to a movie that came out when I was young as "old", I take it personally......😜
I second this bro 😭 lol I’ll definitely refer to something as a bit older than now of course but “old” by itself I’m like Dannnnnggg that’s how u feel lol
To me, I think the main Rangers were always Red, Pink, Green/White. Kimberly was definitely a standout hottie.
Would have been nice to hear both of you giving your own personal critiques about what was going on in the movie as it played on.
Fred actually did become a ranger but he was an adult lol
R.i.p Tommy.
Paul Freeman is the actor who plays Ivan ooze
