Matt's serving up a fresh batch of rankings as he devours cookies from six different national fast food establishments. Will the crowd favorite Subway take home the W? Perhaps the chewy goodness of a Chick-fil-A will steal the top spot. Don't count out McDonald's cheap, hot cookies. Wendy's and Burger King will also be present. But we all know how that's going to end. - Приколы

Yo matt I live in alabama Calab
Ur a pretty boy n I like u 😂😂😂 that was great
You a pretty boy! Man, all them cookies - I think we can all agree you were the real winner in this video.
SurfShark might have to change its name to SurfDolphin now. That ad was fantastic!
You have to rank Restaurants dipping sauces. Mainly BBQ.
Can we just agree that no matter which restaurant wins Matt's the real winner here
Agreed
Yes, I definitely think we can agree
Taste testing chocolate chip cookies makes anyone a winner!
Yes I think we can.
And "IT'S A SOUTHERN THING" is the loser?
As a former CFA employee, the cookies are baked in-house daily and packaged by hand. Do you have any idea how infuriating it is to deal with those stickers while wearing rubber gloves? We suffered for your pleasure.
Mmmmmm! Suffering makes them taste so much better :)
Lol
Not all heroes wear capes.
My pleasure.
As a former CFA employee, what are your thoughts on how the LGBTQ+ community have suffered for decades thanks to the funding that the corporation is still providing to anti-LGBTQIA+ organizations and “conversion camps”? Just wondering.
Thank goodness Matt (and possibly lawyers) got the rights to Bless Your Rank! No one else can do it the way he can.
I'm still worried. "Oh no, did he realize he said that?" I thought. Hopefully, it's no biggie.
Made me so happy for him🎉🎉🎉
I'm glad to see the recent view counts here on Matt's channel compared to where he was before.
it makes sense because I don't think anyone would watch bless your rank on its a southern thing with a different host, so they were not really losing anything by letting him have it.
What happened with it's a southern thing
I love how even the employees are like… ‘who the heck is ordering cookies here?’
Side note- I would love to see all the last place finishers come together to see which experience was truly the worst. My vote is for Pioneer Women’s bbq sauce
I agree. FROM NC HEREand hate sugary bbq sauces, especially those with no smoke or bite in the flavor!
No please, not the cursed bbq sauce.
THIS. I would LOVE a to see that.
You mean to tell me that the PW actually made a product that isn’t flying off the shelves good? Maybe she needs to stay in the dishwater and linen section of Walmart. Didn’t even know she made food products. Im always behind…
Well its from oklahoma..... Nuff said
As a former CFA employee I can confirm that they are baked in house.
The dough is not made in house
right, the dough comes in frozen and they bake them at the store as they need them :)
@@glennschlorf1285 In what world would you think it was?
@@glennschlorf1285 he didn’t say “made” in-house. He said “baked”.
That's the way to do it. Make the dough elsewhere so it can be quality controlled and then bake the cookies in house so they can be fresh.
"At Burger King, you buy a couple of chocolate chip cookies and get the french fry aftertaste"😂. Simply genius! Matt Michels legendary quotes to remember Arby's "we have to meats but not the oven".😅
When you went off about Wendy's salad bar, it reminded me of the salad bar at Burger King. Yeah when BK had edible food. You could get a salad platter with unlimited refills (although they expected you to reuse the dish), but the best bargain was a pita you could fill with salad. Since It's never heard of a pita before, it seemed adventurous.
I'm not a fan of inline commercials but in this case, you bring just as much entertainment value showcasing your sponsor as you do when reviewing food products. In my mind, Flipper has transformed into Jaws Jr. 😃
On a side note, the judging criteria were not mentioned at the start of the evaluation, which was unexpected.
I assume the criteria would include 1.) Taste, 2.) Appearance, 3.) Texture, and 4.) Structural Integrity. 😃
Nah, the criterion is if Matt likes it. That's all. And it is enough. ;-)
Maybe you're thinking of It's A Southern Thing. This is Matt Mitchell.
Having had the Chick-fil-A cookies, I agree that they are worthy of #1. I got mine freshly warm and it was amazing!
I wish I'd gotten cookies for my birthday reward I tried my "free dessert" on a shake. This is not a mistake I will make again. The best thing about that shake was that it was free.
@@valstarkgraf someone didn’t make your shake correctly then! What kind did you get?!
@@valstarkgraf I used to get a chocolate shake weekly when I worked down the street from one. Not sure what happened to you, but those things are damn tasty.
@@Beyondthe5thPanel chocolate. There are better chocolate shakes in the world. The ice cream base they used was generally gross.
@@valstarkgrafthe peach milkshakes are really good, but the frosted lemonade (not really a shake) is the best!
Arby's used to bake them fresh in store, and they were much better. The caramel and chocolate would still be gooey, so there wouldn't be anything stuck in your teeth, but the salt would still give a bit of texture to it
Agree!! I used to get an Arby’s cookie every time I went. (And sometimes I would go just to get the cookie). Now I avoid it because the prepackaged ones are just awful.
I worked at Arbys when they made the change… worst decision ever and all the employees agreed!
The fact that I had 2 of the hardest cookies I’ve ever eaten in my life yesterday from Burger King makes me realize there are too many variables for these rankings to be valid. And yet, I still love them.
So yea I think his store may have recognized him from RUclips because I’ve only ever gotten hard overcooked cookies from BK. Or old??
How Matt explained Sharky protecting those cookies was hilarious 😂 and the best visual for how internet 🍪 work
My family's go-to brand changes with each episode. If it works for Matt it works for us!
I work at Wendy’s in Ohio (corporate store) back in the 1980s. We were one of the first stores that got the cold and hot bar installed. After about a month, we saw hamburger sales drop massively and bar sales go through the roof. Every customer loved our hot and cold bar. I will say that it was a pain in the butt to clean and keep stocked, and due to the high quality of item on the bar it lost money (which is why Wendy’s got rid of it).
The chocolate pudding on the bar was so good we had a problem with employee theft of BOXES of the stuff. Like you, I miss it too. 😢
Couldn't be a fast food cookie video without Subway cookies. Might not have won but it was the only ones I knew about.
Love the video! When I worked at Chick fil-A the cookies are made in store! There was nothing better than having to go to back of house to get something when cookies were baking 😂
place I work at wraps them in plastic wrap after they cool then we put stickers on all of them. So much easier to mess with 30 stickers at once without gloves (once wrapped we don't need them).
I love that over 100 people have liked it without even watching it. We all know it’s gonna be gold.
It’s Matt eating and ranking food of course we would like it before watching it
It's new!
It's cookies!
You are so delightfully entertaining. Who knew I could enjoy 15 minutes worth of fast food cookie analysis. If only I had cookies to watch this again.
Yes!! Arbys definitely needs to bring back potato cakes!!! Now the strawberry and cream turnover they had last year was pretty good. Hope those come back.
That chocolate turnover was the bomb!!
Damn watching this dude eating cookies while I'm ordering breakfast at McDonald's got me to order cookies
I rewatched all of the BYR episodes and made some life-changing switched. Like to Tate’s chocolate chip cookies. Those are SO amazing. Matt is out here changing my food life.
Tate'a had a summer seasonal blueberry cookie last year that was blueberry muffin in cookie form. I'm not even mad at the price on Tate's they leave every baked in house at the grocery store cookie in the dust because they use far superior ingredients.
@@valstarkgraf Have you tried their mint chocolate chip? Those are also top tier! I’m sad I missed the blueberry ones because those also sound great!
They’re my cookies splurge when I’m in the store awesome rec matt❤❤❤
Tate's cookies are amazing
Not only do I remember how adventurous I felt having my first taste of nachos at the Wendy's salad bar, but I remember when KFC had buffets. My kid likes the cookies at Jimmy John's for some reason. They are massive.
Chick-fil-A is bringing it in the cookie game. They are legit good.
I didn't even know they had them. Thanks for the endorsement, Ill try them!
I work for CFA and we do bake the cookies in the restaurant. It’s one of my favorite tasks!
This is the kind of content I come to RUclips for. Ranking fast food restaurant cookies is something I didn’t know I wanted to watch.
You really only needed one cookie from each place, but you got two. That’s dedication
"I'm in Salt Lake City where the only thing I'm blacked out from is properly seasoned food." 😂 No lie. People from Utah think sugar and canned soup are seasoning.
And they put ketchup on tacos.
Sugar is the last vice Mormons have
If you really want to try something good when you go to Chick-fil-A try their brownies it's kind of crazy how chicken place can make brownies that are really good their cookies are good too
I am with you Matt! There are many restaurants that sell cookies and I had no idea! I’ve had Subway and those are good
on certain days.
How about a ranking of sub sandwiches? Subway, Jersey mikes, Jimmy Johns, Firehouse, etc.
Firehouse hands down
Got here faster than Matt can identify a fake Little Debbie cake! ❤
Subway cookies are baked in-store. They taste a lot better fresh, though I vastly prefer the oatmeal and peanut butter ones over the chocolate chip. My local store has been letting them get old because they're having to make extra in anticipation of doordash orders. It's a shame.
Peanut butter? I've never seen peanut butter. I get the white chocolate macadamia or double chocolate
Omg oatmeal and peanut butter ftw!! I want both rn.
Oatmeal raisin subway cookies are the best. I could eat those every day!
I always love getting the double chocolate chip cookies. I get excited seeing them. For the love of God, Subway, don't get rid of them!!!!
@@jinxstheories4263 Last seasonal cookie we had was peanut butter with Reese's Pieces. Fucking phenomenal!
I used to work at chick-fil-a and our cookies were made in store and we usually sold out near the end of the day and had to make more. They were so good.
"If the dictionary had taste instead of pictures..."
Instantly pictured some kid just sitting in the corner licking the pages of a dictionary.
In the history of food comparison videos, _this was one of them_ and they can't take that away from you, Matt! 👍
Would love to see fast food hot dogs or fast food fish sandwiches soon
Yes! Although, he might need to wait until next spring to rank the fish sandwiches.
I do some work with DoorDash and the other day some lady ordered just two cookies from CFA for delivery. I guess she really wanted those cookies because that's the most expensive way to get two CFA cookies.
"what fool is ordering 2 cookies" that killed me, man.
Panera bread has the best fast food cookies 🍪
Another sponsor! Go boy, go!!!
Also love the Braves attire. They invited the Phillies over for batting practice last night. Everyone had a nice time.
Matt the real Cookie Monster.
😂😂😂
Get excited EVERY time I see an upload from him… at the same time tho, I feel so bad for the other actors on “It’s a southern thing” 🤣 He should consider doing a few crossovers just to save their jobs soon lmao
The Wendy’s salad bar from the 80’s was everything! Bring it back!
I worked at Subway and we baked these but they came in pre made (raw dough). I know Doctor's Associates Inc owned many franchises. Subway chicken strips were shared with Taco bell, so maybe they shared cookies with KFC and BK. Bk looks visually the same. Kfc was also very similar.
If Cookie restraunts could meet:
Crumbles: the key to making a good cookie, is make sure they are dry but very big.
Chip's Ahoy: What is a customer?
I think that was the most entertaining Ad for SurfShark I have yet seen! As always, it's a pleasure watching your channel grow! ❤🎉
This is the only segment i liked on the channel that shall not be named and now you are doing it here. Great job and i am here for it
I love watching your commercials. They are the funniest things. Thank you for making them enjoyable.
Cant wait! Its on the calendar. Whole family is excited!
YES MORE RANKINGS!!!!! I love these!!!!!!!!
You want to try that Wendy's cookie broken up into a chocolate Frosty. I worked at Wendy's February-May of 97 as a junior in high school. I was clued into this combo by my good friend who worked there. I was also there when they had the warmly-remembered Pitas, which were both delicious and easy to make.
"You're a pretty boy. I like you!" Keep up the great work, Matt! I love your videos.
Please do an episode ranking Carmel cake recipes or Carmel candy. I would also love to see you go to Gatlinburg and rank the fudge shops!
Road trip Bless Your Rank"?! I'm so there!!
Then he could do best BBQ of the bbq cities!
We need to bless our rankings more!
Can we take a minute to acknowledge that this (0:40) was hands down, best ad of the year. I will watch every second of every ad that Matt writes produces and stars in. Advertising gold.
I ❤ your rankings! Thanks for the laughs!
Arby’s cookies are awesome! They serve them hot, too. They are still in the bag but so delicious.
Been a while since I've been to Subway. But I do remember you could either get Chips with your combo, or *THREE* cookies. So, potatoes, or a half pound of sugar. But I think they do 3-packs because they're so thin.
You are the bomb! I absolutely love this series!
God i miss the Wendy's sun rooms! There was one in my hometown that was my little quiet hiding place for a couple years in school. They had that dollar menu back then so a broke high schooler could eat 2 times for 5 bucks. So id get a side salad and chicken nuggets with a frosty, and do my homework in this nearly empty Wendy's sunroom. I liked to take my ex there for lunch sometimes too. Good times.
I’d like to see Matt try every fried chicken place
He did on It's a Southern Thing 4 years ago.
@@mandolinman2006thx I’ll check it out
😂😂 yes please❤
Just found Matt the other day I have been enjoying his videos
@@thegamingglove238 yeah. That said, I don't know if he'll get to do fast food fried chicken again. There for a while they wouldn't even let him use the Bless Your Rank name. They didn't part on the best of terms.
I loved the Wendy’s salad bar! I always wonder what happened. All the old Wendy’s are some form of a hotdog or gyro shops now.
Same! I had actually forgotten it existed and now I'm nostalgic. Used to get the salad bar and turn my baked potato into a gourmet meal for $5.
I've been to Burger Kings in FL, GA, SC, NC, and TN. That "dirty feeling" you get while eating there... may be universal. But those onion rings... 🤤
My fav part: 4:15 , because I am a Homeschool Kid, who lives in Georgia, who loves to bake!
I’ve had CFA’s cookies many times and I don’t think I’ve ever paid for one. They’re just randomly put in the bag
That’s like manna from heaven.
Wow, I had completely blocked the Wendy's salad bar from my brain. I had a friend I'd go there with on lunch breaks, and she'd just empty that thing out, and put about a quart of thousand island dressing on it. Called it her "Three Mile Island salad". I think she's why they quit doing it, they went broke trying to keep it restocked.
Matt making the ads fun & educational!!
That was an awesome video matt!!!!! We love you so much!!! Keep doing the videos they brighten my day!! We are southern too so we really enjoy them haha!! 😄
Arby's seriously needs to bring back the potato cakes.
I have said it before, even Matt's reads for his sponsors are entertaining.
Fun fact, At chick fil a, They indeed do make them there they just get the dough shipped in
I'm SOOOO excited to see Matt having BYR!!! I could watch hours and hours of these!!!
I oughta send y'all some of my famous Chocolate Chip Cookies. It's my Grandmother's recipe and I sell them with my business.
Jersey mike’s is kinda taking over in the Northeast and their cookies are banging
I just had a Subway cookie last week for the first time in YEARS (I’ve never had a cookie from the other fast food places) and I loved it 😊
Former CFA employee. We do bake out cookies in store. The back smelled amazing when we were
How bout chain restaurant glazed donuts? Dunkin, Starbucks, Krispy Kreme etc
I'd be interested in seeing you rank burgers from places like Five Guys and Foster's Grille and Red Robin.
Yes, and Freddy’s and Culver’s too.
I love five guys but I don't think he wants to spend 50 bucks on a burger when he has to get other competitors
Love your channel and the bless your rank series.
Chick-fil-A puts in oatmeal in their cookies. I used to work at Chick-fil-A. I love these cookies. They are made fresh everyday. I used to make them everyday.
I think you meant oats, but yes they are fantastic
thank you. you are doing gods work my brother........
Former Chick-Gil-A employee here. Yes the cookies are baked fresh in store every day. The kitchen has ovens just for cookies. 😋
That is the best sponsor tie-in to the actual video content I've ever seen. 🍪 Matt absolutely deserves the sponsor dough (pun intended), so good for him!
Haha! I got an ad right as Matt was complaining about Arby’s. He says “I love Carmel… but this, this is” “Lindt chocolate,” the ad starts. 😂
A long time ago in a century far far away when I worked at Arby's they had the best chocolate chip cookies in the game.
Taco Bell had a sandwich cookie which had frosting between the cookies and it was amazing.
Back In the 80’s, Hardee’s had really great chocolate chip cookies.
Omg this was my first thought!
Another winner, Matt!!!!! Keep them coming! PLEASE!!!
Bro is the only person that makes a sponsorship fun in his video
I was hoping you were going to redo all these reviews again on your own channel !! ❤
Who knew that Wendy's salad bar was the glue holding our country together.
Also: Where's the beef Wendy's?
I feel like every video should end up being titled "Matt unwillingly admits the Chick Fill-A snobs were right... again... #315"
Side note: As someone with Diabetes, I feel like watching your channel just gives me cravings I have to fight off. I can't eat almost anything you review. All I get is nostalgia and sadness. But I still watch and live vicariously through you.
Bless your rank is the best thing on RUclips, Matt’s great to listen to
Chick Fil A’s chocolate chunk cookies are delicious. NGL, I need to run by and get one this morning! I haven’t tried it with Ice Dream… hmmmmm.
Am I the only one that likes Jimmy John's cookies
JJs come prepackaged and are kept in the freezer, then individually thawed out the overnight when they get restocked. Ngl, I used to prefer getting one straight from the freezer when I used to work there. Pretty danged good either way, though.
I'd love to see your take on the Kitchen Sink cookie from Panera. My favorite cookie! Used to be the Monster Cookie from Target's Food Avenue.
Thanks for another fun video, Matt!
Leaving IAST means you get to write off snack time. Very wise move, Matt!
If you consider Subway fastfood then they are THE clear #1! They have THE best cookies!
Did they have the s'mores cookie?
I like their cookies, but think Potbelly has better. I don't know if you consider Potbelly fast food, though.
Y’all ain’t had chick-fil-a fresh out of the oven then
The BK near our house in Dothan closed and it was 1-2 months before anyone noticed. It could be worse though, in AZ we had a choice of BK or nothing to eat for almost an entire day due to a family emergency. Went through the drive thru and ordered Whoppers, took a couple bites and were shocked at how bad they tasted, then looked closer to discover they had given us Impossible burgers, and we threw them away. By evening I was at the ER and extremely ill for 3 days.
