@@AHPcameron These videos take time and money to make. Hitting 30k views won't even come close to breaking even on how much I spent on this video. But it's a way for me to see if the audience really cares about these kind of videos or if I should be putting my time and money into other vids that my community would prefer.
The next episode is gonna cost over double this one did to hire the voice actors so I'm gathering the funds for that. It'll also be close to double the length which means in theory it'll take more time to do the sound design.
I'm currently making a loss on these sorts of videos and am pouring weeks of my time into getting them perfect for my audience. So please don't tell me that all I care about is the money.
The palpatine voice actor is incredible. He sounds almost 100% like the emperor

This script was written in like 2016, it's not a finished draft so the dialogue would have gotten touched up by the time it's shot. Also, Palpatine literally says Tor Valum is the master of Plagueis, so he's not replacing him.

@@lordnanni3177 Read the leaked script. Dialog was on par with Star Wars dialog and was no worse then what we got in TROS or TLJ, etc. The narrative was just far less over flow on fan service and 'Reylo' nonsense (respectfully). Also it didn't replace Plagueis. Tor Valum is Plagueis Master, as Palpatine says.

I realize something like this could’ve made it to Rise of Skywalker. Have the hologram of Palpatine talk about how in the event that Luke kills him, Vader should take him to Exegol so he can learn from Palpatine’s clone.

Dude, that scene from Trevvorrow's script... *Sigh* Man, I don't know what Katheleen Kennedy was thinking, rejecting a beautifully pieced storyline that would have ended the Sequel Trilogy brilliantly. I know people are going to argue this was Disney's fault, and, indeed Katheleen did, in fact, work for Disney, but she was the president of Star Wars films. She was the one in charge, and she was the one who had a chance at making a good Star Wars experience, and she completely wasted that chance by rejecting it.
I mean, I thought Rise of Skywalker was okay, but the way Duel of the Fates was told from Trevvorrow's Certain View, (Catch the pun there?) it sounded like Episode 9 would have been a lot more epic than the final film, which leads to my complete disappointment in Kennedy. She has proven herself twice in a row that she does not know what the audience has wanted, and therefore I do not trust her being in charge of any Star Wars movie period.

I don't know why you wanted Kylo to wear the mask again. He really didn't need it, and he's going to get a new mask in this anyway. But other then that this is really good. Hope you do the whole thing
Was due to two reasons
#1 more recognisable as his voice
#2 The mod I used for the hooded Kylo artwork didn’t have a helmet less option

He build a complete new helmet, that looks like the helmet of the Jedi Killer from the early concept of the Force Awakens.
Why didn't the keep this script? It has an actual plot...
This movie could have changed my mind about the sequels. I actually could have ended up liking this trilogy if they went with these plans.

All great except Kylo didn't have his helmet in this scene.
It was a conscious choice to keep it on for the sake of the "audiobook" version. As it's more recognizable as Kylo with his helmet voice effect

@@alexsage4 I'm gonna have him take his helmet off in the Tor scene since it's already established as him prior with his helmeted voice. But for this one I decided it was best to keep it on.

This Account has been deleted the plot was fine but the entire structuring of the movie was awful. I’m not trying to hate on anyone, but this movie probably would’ve only been slightly better than TROS. Still liked a lot of ideas here though

A production different from the usual and really incredible, we can feel the emotion and tension. The voices are incredible, nice to hear Ian-Luke again as the Emperor Palpatine

Colin Treverrow would have been a director who truly cares about the franchise.
He's said that he was excited to talk to George Lucas about his ideas and he made clear how much he respects those older characters like Luke Skywalker and Han Solo - he even tried to bring Luke back to live after Disney just killed him at the end of "The last Jedi".
I would highly recommend to take a look at the original script.
It felt like a deep, original and meaningfull story featuring iconic locations as well as some new creative ideas -No Palpatine-.
It is a shame that we got what we got at the end and it hurts to see Anakins/Vaders story being meaningless in "The Rise of Skywalker".
That Luke learned nothing and that the friendship of Han, Luke, Leia and Lando just broke apart after the OT.
Star Wars ends with Return of the Jedi.
Oh yeah sure Trevorrow cared so much about the franchise that he replaced darth plagueis with this new guy Tor Valum...that's really great.......-_-

@@bigenson18 Tenebrous was not in established canon as of time of this script so he could have gotten away with a slight tweaking of Plagueis' past. Tenebrous is only in canon now as a name of the 26th legion of sith troopers.
The guy voicing Palpatine sounds exactly like him and ironically enough his name is Ian-Luke 😅😅😅

The Cinematics Capture's work was to organize the shot and work with other people to render a beautiful audio-chapter with voices and the pre-concepts art from Duals of Fates ^^

This could’ve been the movie but I’m pretty sure the toxic Star Wars fanbase who threw all hate at the Last Jedi made Disney want to create the Rise of Skywalker. The Last Jedi created change to the franchise The Rise of Skywalker brought and bunch of old thing back while ignoring the Last Jedi. The fanbase then bitch about the movie being all nostalgic and pandering.

Yknow I was rereading the script, and I realized something:
Luke says “This is where the dark path leads, an empty tomb”.
That’s foreshadowing.
When Kylo finally gets to the Well of the Living Force on Mortis, what does he find? An empty tomb.

This would have worked in Rise of Skywalker as well. Maybe that is were the sith Wayfinder is. And this would hints at the guilt that kylo feels with hans death.
