I love this build and use it, fire or cryo is OP like I mean really OP, also and LMG is perfect with some passive perks, 1 issue so many drones you may take there hits but really doesn't matter if you collect the HP, very OP
The dragoon mortar has (from my experience) the strongest rocket jump out of all the weapons. U can get a lot of momentum for the jetpack, although obviously it doesnt really matter since if u want movement u take the mine gun lol.
I discovered this game yesterday and I've been absolutely hooked. Engi is my favorite and I WAS doing fire and having a ton of fun until earlier today. Cryo engineer is absolutely the big brain play because after you get cryo proc'd reliably you can just go for crit upgrades and seriously hamper cryo resistant enemies later in the run. Nice vid!
Hey man, loving the game and the videos! I must suggest you something though, you mentioned you didn’t really like the sheriffs carbine, but I found it can be devastating. Commando firerate build, sheriffs carbine with freewheel and firerate affixes + firerate items and perks, coupled with the same build copied onto a Blunderbuzz. You can also add Shorty marks enemies or sniper shorty for continuous crits.
I’m glad they finally refunded our wrenches. Sucks since I unlocked all but the last row already and now I have like 1200 spare wrenches lol but still, it’s the principal.
I had a huge success with the little robot guy buddy, upgrade him to unique weapon, he also fires by default cryo weapons and you can spawn multiple as additional bots to fight for you.
Junkbeam is one of my favorites. I also like the grenade launcher that sticks to enemies! I think I also played a lot of the minigun and the rifle that speeds up in attack rate. The game is great! In my experience: My favorite robot, is the rocket one. Then the shield one. I think the new robot will be potentially really cool! I will have to unlock it.

I pulled this video up halfway through canyons while using cryo mastery (didn't read the thumbnail, just hit play) and imagine that, cryo engineer win at record speed lol. But I'm also only on Hard, it was my first hard run win.
I had a dronezerker with invincibility and extra health + the one that gives you 4 drones + they had rockets and extra laser beams. I didn't even have to do anything, they just deleted everything in sight within seconds. Engineer is literally broken.
My favorite weapon in the game so far has got to be the Lynx Rifle with the Hellion Pistols being a VERY close second, especially when I'm running engineer fire or cryo
I will say, will the perks combined, the kunais is the best for ranger 100%. I tried them for myself and omg. It was basically one shotting small enemies and quickly taking bosses down. I’d have to agree w you on kunais.
10:00 (complains about shark sniper) (doesn't know the scout sniper has approximately the same non-crit dps, a faster firerate AND a 2.5 times crit multi - while shark sniper is only 2) Objectively speaking shark sniper is NOT the best crit weapon Oh and kunai has even MORE crit multi(at 3.75) and the same non-crit dps, so just going by the numbers kunai seems best(unless there is a weapon that happens to be able to crit that has a massive average dps to the point that kunai crit mult is not enough to compete, or with some insane inbuilt affix)
A bit late but, I had a run the other day with the sniper rifle using ranger and a bull shotgun. I had a miracle role that had the sniper bullets ricocheting on every shot and it ended up being the crowd control weapon. It one shot everything. It did oddly suffer on the bosses though since no ricocheting. I will say the run was incredibly slow though
I run ruins because it gives you the extra skill point, but it also pops you out at fields. If you go quarry, you’ll end up at aqua station. I like being in fields more for shovel dig spots and because I can go through doom gardens.
i have loved playing this game but i have an idea of an even harder way to play this game maybe almost mindbreaking challenge or whatever how about you dont level up at all dont upgrade level 1 guardian 4 difficulty maybe if you are even more crazy no crystals and downright inhuman pistol only or you know you can just do no leveling up and i would say dont use guardian since its kinda cheap but it might be the only viable character i have yet to try this idea of mine so no idea if doing all of the above will even be possible the no level up should be simple maybe even no leveling up guns but with everything else might be kinda insane (this should probably be a sub goal XD) also W videos btw showing this game at its craziest and using the worst items or using the best items and really delving deep into this game
Please try a Blade only recon run, I'm new to the game but I've been trying to do it on hard for a while it's really fun comboing grapple and dash with slash attacks. With certain upgrades, and if you get the right items, it's really OP. My only issue is having patience in boss fights, namely diggy, bomb guy, and Iris 2nd fight.
Just started playing and got to the moon for the 1st time yesterday (previously not able to get to the second boss and your videos have helped a lot!) Qucik question though, do you gain the ability to fly from the base upgrades or am I just missing something?
I'm pretty sure... you need scratch damage to get burned, so it's not like Lighter makes 1 in every 20 reloads proc Lolipop unless you have scratch damage every time, so the synergy isn't as strong as expected. Still powerful items by themselves.
Personal opinion, but I think Shock Engi is better Sure. Freezing a room is Great, but being able to Ricochet Shock across the whole room with a Tesla Rifle and having 2 drones who are doing the same (not to mention the Buddy bots)? Yeah that room isn'g a threat even at Guard 4 However, If I am wrong, I'm up for discussion
You don’t go cryo for the slow, you go cryo for the crits. No other element can come close to the damage you can deal with cryo, but they have other effects like ricochet and wiping out an entire room like you said.
But Cryo status does not increase crit damage? Shure, it have 100% auto-crit against frozen targets, which is useful to fully use crit weapon. But late-game bosses have very big weakspots, and every element have same crit increase and similar damage bonus.

So yesterday I tried the engie and yes he is broken with 4 drones shooting 3 different projectiles and getting shield when I use them and a Plus 30% damage, fire rate 3X plus drone damage 60% 2X xD not OP at all

If you used to like sheriff's carbine, I suggest trying the Lynx Rifle. Good damage at range and very accurate also has the potential to be fast

80 runs so far and I’ve never seen the shark sniper drop higher than common.
I was curious, why do you always go ruins when you do your runs, is there some strategy or do you just think the map is better for your play style?
He does it for the free level at the end of the tunnel

Someone explain what affix or how one weapon can change the type of bullets and the other cannot.

Recon is busted when you get a low overcharge and over slash damage (also cutlass to make you feel like you do more damage)
Or elementalist explosion build and kaboom grenades

It’s a gadget that you can unlock if you have the nose item and complete the pit area which I think is the secret area in quarry
