- 29 years ago, Rwanda endured a genocide that saw over 1 million people lose their lives. Since then, the country has been working on building back a stable economy, harmonious communities, and a beautiful country. Rwanda is the cleanest country in Africa and arguably the top in the world. In this video, Ondiro Oganga takes you on an exploration tour of Kigali City.

I visited Rwanda in 2018 and found it to be the cleanest country I have ever visited, and I have traveled half the world. Not even Switzerland came close. An amazing country.
And now its seen as a concentration camp for the UK

I mean, sure you could argue that Rwanda has possibly got the cleanest capital city in the world due to lesser tourism (tourists are more likely to litter than locals especially in popular areas) compared to other major cities but cleanest country? Idk, i’ve seen videos of Rwanda and seen places outside of Kigali where there were quite a few trash on the streets. The cleanest country for me, by far, has been Singapore, literally spotless anywhere I went on my trip there.
@@StrawberryMilkkTeaa I cannot argue with you there since I’ve never visited Singapore. Yes they say it is very clean. As to blaming few tourists one of the causes that it’s so clean doesn’t make sense. I’m sure millions visit Singapore every year, yet….it’s spotless according to you.

Rwanda has to be by far the biggest turn around of any nation let alone an african one. Every decade the nation has gotten better and better. They have plenty to be proud of.

And every country and city on the Mother Continent that is modern note (though we have to protect and keep our wildlife too) can be just as clean and beautiful as this place is.
