      SAHANIA C. DAROYODUN
      Very well said.👏
One of the teachings in Islam is taking care for our environment. And we, humans are obliged to take care of it because protecting our environment reflects a good image on our religion.
I am hopeful that many people will take a cue from this video and shall try to care for the environment and natural resources as a religious obligation.

Indeed, islam teaches us on how to take care of our environment and because Allah created us to protect the enviroment and thats one of our obligations while we were in this world.

Environment protection is an important aspect of Islam. Being stewards of the Earth, it is the responsibility of Muslims to care for the environment in a proactive manner. There is a definite purpose behind the creation of different species, be it plants or animals. Muslims are encouraged to reflect on the relationship between living organisms and their environment and to maintain the ecological balance created by Allah. Protection of the environment is essential to Islamic beliefs and mankind has the responsibility to ensure safe custody of the environment.

      Intro
Don't be wasteful doing wudhu even on a flowing river
Even with excess resources, waste is possible but we should avoid it
Pay attention to the things around you
“Whoever seeks knowledge Allah will make easy the path to paradise
Plants and animals seek forgiveness for seeker of knowledge because the knowledgeable pays attention to nature and gives organisms their rights because they are fully aware of them
The environment will testify FOR US ON QIYAMAH
“No believer plants a tree or plants a field for a human, animal, that eats from it except that Allah will reward him for it on Qiyamah. Planting is regarded as a charity on person's behalf
Believers should be productive and make the world a better place
Even selling produce will reward you because you are
Farming and cultivation all have rewards. Whoever gives life to barren land makes that land theirs.
Even stolen produce can reward you because you fed someone
      TREES
Quran: Do not leave trees standing or cut them down except by Allah’s permission. Allah condemns those who uproot trees unnecessarily.
Don't be destructive when everyone else is destructive. That mindset is very bad
Trees are living beings. Prophet leaned on palm tree while giving the khutbah
When the Prophet started using the pulpit, the tree started crying because it missed the prophet so that prophet went and hugged the tree
The palm tree represents the human being→ produces benefit and is firmly rooted
Allah says in Quran “Sun, moon, stars, and TREES” so we can reflect on the little things and it shows that Allah wants us to pay attention. Treat nature like signs of Allah
      WATER
Prophet on wasting water: 3 acts that cause you to be cursed.
Urinating in a walkway or place of use. Don't urinate in still water because of contamination. -Prophet. This means don't contaminate water unnecessarily
Do you pay attention to the water around you? Make sure to say Bismillah, sip, Alhamdullilah
You don't realize the blessing of water until a drought
Who can give water to you from the clouds but Allah? What if Allah makes our water salty. We are always in need of his water and his blessing.
Feel humble after receiving that water
Surah Mulk: Who can provide for you if Allah didn't provide water.
      Roadways/Paths
      Turuq/Tareeq means path
Removing something off the road is a great deed.
Adha- the smallest amount of harm caused, a minor inconvenience
Don't litter on the road, don't spill oil, it can cause ADHA or small harm
Japanese soccer fans cleaned the stadium after the world cup, Muslims should do that at Hajj LOL
Pay attention to things that people don't think a big deal of
Abu Musa- Governor of Basra: I was sent to you to teach you the book (Quran), the sunnah of your prophet, and to clean the streets. This is the first thing mentioned after Quran and Sunnah
Disrupting a walkway and causing Adha or inconvenience is violating Allah's blessings
      FOOD
Allah teaches us to seek balance and minimize consumption of food
Don't exceed the amount of food that we need to function
      Don't overconsume
Allah appointed us as stewards of this earth, making sure this environment is as suitable as possible for everyone around us
Take your best appearance to the Masjids, eat and drink but do not waste because Allah hates those who are wasteful with their excess
We make the environment volatile through wastefulness and corruption
Maymuna (wife of Prophet) “God does not love corruption” when she saw a wasted pomegranate. Quotes verse of Quran. Wastefullness→Corruption
      Allah set scales
      Wrap-ups.
IF A BELIEVER PAYS THAT MUCH ATTENTION TO FOOD, TREES, ROADS, FOOD, WATER, how will they pay attention to things of greater importance?
The main point of fasting. Paying attention to consumption, appreciating things when they are lost.
