Great vid.. you I have some other Thule gear and watching your reviews has convinced me to pick up the thule subterra 34 to try 1 bag travel. I was looking at much more expensive clamshell options but your earlier video does a great job of explaining why it's not a deal breaker. Also just happens that Thule is sold local rather than having to order online so I can use for a trip this coming week

Yeah, I did the exact same thing! Looked at Aer travelpack 2, cotopaxi and goruck, but with Thule bags beeing sold locally and the online stores taking turnes on selling it at an discount it was a nobrainer for me ;)

I feel like subterra 34L is a much more versatile pack. If I had to pick between the two the 34L would work better for most people.

Yeah I agree! The thing about the Subterra 34 is that of you do not fully roll it down it does have about the same volume as the subterra 40.
