I actually enjoyed the main event. A lot. Ankalaev’s ability to adjust after those leg kicks was impressive. Some slow points on the ground but I don’t think it was a bore. I hope they rematch and winner fights the winner of glover/Jamahal (assuming Jiri will be out beyond then).

The fact Dana thinks Fight of the Night was Till v Du Plessis yet think the main event was a snoozefest is incredible. He was pissed they became the main after the original was lost and Glover turned it down. Both men trained for 3 rounds and Jan proved his fortitude early, while Magomed survived and pushed through, mixing up his game in the championship rounds. It was far from boring.
I think Dana is pissed the judging embarrassed the organization and also Ankalaev saying he doesn't think he will fight again for the organization and not look crazy saying that, combined with the fact a lot of recent fights have had questionable scorecards, all favoring UFC PR-machine guys, raising suspicions about the legitimacy of the UFC, sent him over the edge. 😄
Zone out in the main event? Me and my boys was glued to the screen for the main event, great fight and both Jan and Ankalaev showed heart. Ankalaevs ability to change game plan mid fight after those brutal leg kicks also showed he’s Champ quality.

Dana on Gordon Vs Paddy is sketchy at best. Dana usually calls it like it is when he thinks the judges got it wrong. Dana keeps blaming Gordon for the 3rd round, when he arguably won the two rounds before that. The 3rd round wasn’t even a factor on the scorecard considering 2 out of 3 of the judges thought Gordon took the 3rd. Not to mention the broadcast crew kept showing the same handful of blonde wig fans during paddy’s walkout as if to continue fueling the paddy hype train. There was 3 other fights on that card you could’ve made a co-main event that would’ve actually made sense. I actually enjoyed the main event. A lot. Ankalaev’s ability to adjust after those leg kicks was impressive. Some slow points on the ground but I don’t think it was a bore. I hope they rematch and winner fights the winner of glover/Jamahal (assuming Jiri will be out beyond then).

The fact Dana thinks Fight of the Night was Till v Du Plessis yet think the main event was a snoozefest is incredible. He was pissed they became the main after the original was lost and Glover turned it down. Both men trained for 3 rounds and Jan proved his fortitude early, while Magomed survived and pushed through, mixing up his game in the championship rounds. It was far from boring.

Zone out in the main event? Me and my boys was glued to the screen for the main event, great fight and both Jan and Ankalaev showed heart. Ankalaevs ability to change game plan mid fight after those brutal leg kicks also showed he’s Champ quality.

Yeah fighters are going in the octagon injured because dana doesn't cover injuries outside the octagon. This could all have easily been avoided if Dana gave full Healthcare benefits to everyone while they're under contract.

Dana on Gordon Vs Paddy is sketchy at best. Dana usually calls it like it is when he thinks the judges got it wrong. Dana keeps blaming Gordon for the 3rd round, when he arguably won the two rounds before that. The 3rd round wasn’t even a factor on the scorecard considering 2 out of 3 of the judges thought Gordon took the 3rd.
Not to mention the broadcast crew kept showing the same handful of blonde wig fans during paddy’s walkout as if to continue fueling the paddy hype train. There was 3 other fights on that card you could’ve made a co-main event that would’ve actually made sense.
I’m not saying by any means that it was a work, but there’s certainly an agenda.. this whole event felt extremely sketchy, like boxing sketchy.
