Prayers for John Lind Walker's conversion to the religion of his baptism.
The greatest gift my parent's gave me was my Catholic Baptism and early Catholic education to grade 8.
Sadly, due to the rebellious spirit of the early sixties, my parents, who were married in a Catholic church with a solemn mass, never ONCE attended church with me and my four younger siblings; choosing instead to drop us off at the church and have us walk home!
But by the grace of God, this most precious of moral education i did receive, and i just have to say, 49 years after i left the church at age 13 (1968), i most humbly and gratefully returned once again at age 61 when i found out there was a church nearby in Mpls. that served the traditional Latin mass...
God truly works in very mysterious ways.
As for young Walker. God may be using him to wake his mother from her "worldly" trance, a chance to make amends with her religiously neglected family.
I keep rewatching this every few months and still gain something new each time. Praise be to the Lord Jesus Christ. The name above all names.
I love this holy Priest! I don't know his name, but I bless God Almighty for His infinite Mercy and goodness that He continues to give us good and holy priests who hold fast to the TRUE, Orthodox, Roman Catholic and Apostolic Faith. By God's grace, they remain faiithful to the Church's perennial teachings, her Doctrine, and most importantly, they remain faithful to the Church's Magisterium!

He is absolutely right on everything he says here. I also have a son who did a horrible crime killing 3 people, one being a 2 year old child. Even though he was an alter server in church he did not know the faith the way he should have. Society makes sure that it teaches all of us that religion is a waist of time and sometimes we as parents get sucked in to those lies and without realizing it we leave our children vulnerable to the devil. I take full blame for what has happened and I ask forgiveness from God for not showing my son the beauty of the catholic faith.( If I only would have known it sooner) Dont let modern society dictate how to train your children!!!!!

God has a church, which are all those people who have the testimony of Jesus and keep his commandments. The church of Christ is not a denomination of any church entity, much less the Catholic one.

As I turn away from the evil clutches of sin I've always been searching for something... I now know I've been searching for truth, what is truth Pilate asked Jesus Christ... ask & you shall receive the one and only true church one true faith The Roman Catholic Church is the true and only way for salvation attending the Latin Mass which is amazing is I can't explain it I just know what private revelation has been given to me is the true Faith that Jesus Christ established here ... Reverence, royal honor is completely established in Latin Mass....

When I was a cafeteria-Catholic I used to go to mass whenever I wanted to (a few times a year), never went to confession, cherry-picked what I wanted to believe, prayed every blue-moon and only when I wanted something. I lived my life doing things I knew were wrong but did them anyway. I would convince myself God didn't care. I would tell myself it was okay. Eventhough deep down I knew it went against my Catholic Faith and went against what God wanted. All my Protestant, atheist, cafeteria-Catholic friends would tell me not to worry. They would tell me God didn't care and it was no big deal. So, I would believe them. Now, deep down in my heart I knew it was wrong but I would convince myself to believe them. I wanted to live in sin and would convince myself it was okay. Do you want to know something funny? I would refuse to listen to faithful devout Catholics. I didn't want to hear what they said. Devout Catholics wouldn't sugarcoat things and wouldn't tell me what I wanted to hear. I hated that. Well, my life was full of confusion. If something could go wrong, it did. If something couldn't go wrong, it still did. Now, life happened and when I was at my lowest Our Blessed Mother opened up my eyes. She brought me back to my Catholic Faith and to her Son Jesus Christ. Now, I go to mass every Sunday and several times a week (when the churches were open), read Scripture, pray everyday, give daily praise to God, pray the rosary everyday, etc. Now, my life isn't perfect but it is 100% better than what it was years ago. I feel so much more joy and happiness. I am able to handle life's situations so much better. ------- Who would have thought the Catholics were right? 😉🙂
I am so very glad to hear that you came back to the Catholic Church. I was similar to you, knowing that what I was doing was sinful, but found my faith again through a near death experience (seeing 2 demons coming for me and 2 angels scaring them away and stood watch over me in the ICU). Another big moment was hearing a lady call live into a Catholic radio station while she was possessed. The demon surfaced and spoke. It would occasionally retreat and the girl would speak too - it was absolutely crazy!!! Between my experiences with God in my past and now in my present I have never been so devoted. Does any one know 'why' the Catholic Church changed the formula of baptism, from the way Apostle Peter said we should be baptized?
The Catholic Encyclopedia, II, page 263:
"The baptismal formula was changed from the Name of Jesus Christ
to the words/titles father, son, and holy spirit
by the Catholic Church in the second century."
What about the Virtuous Pagans that were recognized by the early church? or are they simply part of the church in purgatory, aka the church suffering?

John Walker would have been an incredible Religious Priest. Could have been an excellent Benedictine Monk.
Maybe more devout Catholics should reflect a part of Vatican II's Unitatis redintrgratio because it says that the Holy Ghost has not refrained from using non-Catholic religions in themselves as means of salvation. That suggests that salvific ability is built into their natures, i.e., their essences. If that ability is built into their natures, the Catholic Church is not the only ark of salvation. But we know she's the only ark of salvation.
in this very channel another priest contradicts this sermon.., and he is a traditional orthodox church, founding his homily in saints writing as well, See why there is so much confusion, ?? in his words is like in so far they live morally good lives they are saved by God mercy, we still need to evangelize but do not worry, they are saved. that was a shock for me, for this priest and the doctrine specifically said, that the person has to be in the bosom, of the faith, baptized and that all the doctrines of the faith has to be accepted, that means even a muslim person that has lived morally right wont be saved, because was not baptized, but the other priest said that person was saved because baptism of desire?

First, He said that I should call no man 'teacher' or 'father', as I have one teacher, God! Christ said, "The Holy Spirit will lead you into all truth." Yet, of the religious leaders of His day, He said, "Shall the blind lead the blind? I tell you both will fall into the pit." What makes you think that your leaders are not just like the pharisees of Jesus' day?
Jesus said, "My Father will give the Holy Spirit to whoever asks of Him (Luke 11.13)." Hence, if I have asked for the Holy Spirit, would you doubt me if I told you that I know Him, that He abides with me, that He bears witness that I am a child of God (Romans 8.16)? If not, then you are saying that the Bible is not true. You have different gospel and are heading for some serious, serious trouble! Jesus Christ is the light of the world.
@@kenshiloh Spare me the scriptural references. You should instead listen to what Our Lord's Church has always taught on the subject (yeah, look it up). Only the Church can interpret Holy Scripture. You are not the pope, nor the Magisterium. The Holy Bible is the inerrant Word of God and as such belongs to the Holy Catholic Church, not to individual heretics to try to discern/interpret for themselves. There is no salvation outside the Church. Turn now, or burn forever in Hell.

Is it 'heretical' for me to interpret these words of Christ as saying that, if I ask, the Father will give me the Holy Spirit to me? Where is the 'heresy' in this?

You are right in one regard; at least one of us is a heretic. The difference is, you say that a heretic is somone who does not follow the Catholic church, yet I follow the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ (e.g. call no man father, the Holy Spirit will lead you, ask and you shall receive). I cannot serve the Lord while serving a church in rebellion to Him! Jesus Christ is the light of the world.

The fact that they make the list does NOT mean that they are authors of the bible, the only author of the bible is God
