Nice! Would like to see you try this on a harder difficulty. I played on hardest and had to use a cheat to skip the first mission where you Shoot from a chopper. Just couldnt do it, they destroyed before i even had a chance to sppt them
i know im prob late but im having trouble with the trick on the train station level where u jump on the guys head onto the train ive got it twice only but is not consistent and i cant seem to never get it consistently. do u have any tips or tutorials?
Nice to see someone is playing around with the game 😊 Firstly, you have to have jump crouch in the settings enabled or set to auto or whatever the setting is, I don't remember exactly, you'll manage. In the top right corner you can see my red fps counter. This game has many instances of changing fps to certain values for certain tricks. 30 fps makes high jumps consistent and prevents softlocks when skipping cutscenes that end levels. I don't really remember this entire run off the top of my head completely but feel free to ask questions if you don't know something. I'm still on youtube daily.
@@lekolega thanks i just found out that i needed 30 fps to do that trick . i basically get it everytime now. well its 100% if u angle it properly when u jump on the guys head i found out. i might try learn the whole entire game so i can run it. might have to ask u for some help cause i prob will get stuck lol. and some other levels in the game like the cutscene thingy needs 200fps i think
We call it save warping. As I exit Grounds, during the Main House loading screen I quicksave the game. Then when the level loads normally I load that quicksave and for some reason that spawns me conveniently right near the end of Main House. There are a few instances of this throughout the run. Look at 35:34, 41:02, 42:18, 59:47, 1:01:07, 1:03:40, 1:05:25, 1:11:37.
Mozes li mi nesto objasniti, odakle vama speedrunnerima tolko volje da stalno igrate jednu te istu igru? to mi nikad nije bilo jasno, jel ja propustam nesto?
pa generalno razmislis, u zivotu stalno radis dosta stvari opet i opet. u svemu postoji neki progress. tako i u speedrunnanju. ako ti je nesto dovoljno zanimljivo i zabavno, naci ces potencijal za napredak i na kraju svega smisao u tome. razmisli i probaj, nista te ne kosta, ko zna, mozd ti se svidi :)
The potatoes... they speak to me. The only good thing about it is you can see through grass better in Columbia. I think I actually had more fps on High GFX 😃

@JoelPersson-zi8jr SOF difficulty is disgustingly unfair and random. There is a segmented speedrun on hardest difficulty by kibumbi.

I don't know. This is an old game so there is no controller support, I think but you could probably figure something out.
